Chapter 4 - He's cool, right?

The boy looked a little older. Maybe a 15 or 16?

"Hello, Bryan. What's up?" Kyle asked.

"You should ask what's wrong," Bryan corrected.

"Okay, then what's wrong?"

"Who is she?" Bryan asked looking at Serefina.

"Umm... I am Serefina. Super nice to meet you," Serefina said, when their eyes met.

"Good to see you, Serefina," he said.

They just looked at each other when Kyle broke in.

"Bryan, weren't you suppose to tell what's wrong!" she shouted.

"Right. So professor Rascal just got Mally detention and now he is willing to see you," he explained.

"Oh goodie. Why me and not you? Your the older one," Kyle sighed.

"Because professor Rascal told me to send you," He replied and recived another sigh from Kyle.

Kyle ran upstairs again.

No one spoke for a moment when-

"So Serefina?" he finally asked.

"Gracy. Yes the ones who control the time crystals," Serefina told before he could ask.

"Okay, I am Bryan Hillard. I am 16.  And I am Kyle's older brother."

"So Bryan, you were telling lie that professor Rascal didn't call you but your sister. Right?"

"Wait, how did you realise?"

"I looked at your face and saw you were perfectly lieing."

"Are you some kind of a face detector?"

"Nope. It's just, I think I know you."

"All girls say like that. But this time I am feeling the same thing about you."

"You're 15 right?" he asked after being silent for a while.

"Yes but I'll be 16 next week."

"Guys, did I miss something?" Kyle interrupted when Bryan was going to say something.

"Nope," they both replied at the same time.

"Hey, are you guys hiding something?" she asked again.

"Nope," they again said at the same time.

"Okay-" Serefina took Kyle's hand and marched into her class seats before Kyle could ask something else.

Serefina glanced one last time at Bryan. He gave a wink. Serefina too gave a wink.

Serefina and Kyle sat on their seats coved with golden silk.

"Hello everyone to a new year at Clockwork academy," said a lady appearing at the golden stage. "I am Dean Vasillia. This year is going to be filled with excitement and knowledge. So keep yourself ready to have fun.

There are some rules you have to follow daily. Don't be late at the academy or at your classes. Each of you has a secret time ability in you. Someone is a future teller. Someone shows stops time and someone can change pasts."

So get ready to enhance the powers of your ability."

Everyone cheered.

"Now let's meet our students and we have some new ones too," Dean Vasillia suggested. "Ronald Reagan."

A blonde haired boy stood up from his seat and gave a polite bow.

"Matt Maxvill" the Dean continued.

A tall boy with raven black hair and a black suit, a crow on his shoulder; stood up from his seat and gave a polite bow too.

Serefina saw Kyle looking dreamy.

"You have a crush on him right?" Serefina guessed.

"What? Ohh yeah," Kyle answered.

"Are pets allowed?"

"Yes."

Serefina could bring Fluffy in her school.

"Next is Bryan Hillard, last year's topper," the Dean said.

Bryan stood up from his seat and gave a polite bow too.

Topper? Serefina thought.

Before seating he gave another wink to Serefina when he saw she was looking and she blushed.

"He's cool, right?" said a voice behind Serefina.

She turned.

A girl with pigtails was looking at Bryan.

"Ohh, didn't see you their," she said. "I am Ava Devina."

"Serefina-"

"Serefina Gracy," the Dean called.

Serefina stood up and gave a polite bow as everyone else.

"You are a Gracy?" Ava said.

"Yes."

"Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

"You all can proceed to your classes," the Dean ordered.

All the students stood up and were heading out of the hall to go to their classes.
