Chapter 21 - Spiral Stairs

Serefina sighed. They were climbing spiral stairs which according to Bryan led towards the Time Wall. But the only problem was that Serefina had no idea how any stairs were there.

"Hey, Bryan?" Kyle's voice came from behind. "How long is going to take to reach the top floor?"

"Just a little longer," Bryan said.

"You know you've said that the eighth time," Rhys said, carrying his sword by his shoulder. Apparently, he wanted to come with them too.

"You should've kept your sword downstairs," Kyle snorted.

"I couldn't risk it. Besides, who knows what's up there, right?" Rhys said.

"I know," Bryan said.

"Then tell us already!" Kyle grumbled.

"I've already told you. The Time wall."

"There is something else," Rhys raised an eyebrow.

"Relax, will you? If there is something else up there you would know when you get there. Waiting is always worth it," Bryan said, climbing the stairs faster.
