- Haruka means 'flower, blossoming', 'eternal' and etc in Japanese. It may sound feminine, but it's actually a unisex name. The reason why I gave him that nickname is because the MC reminds me of an Orchid, which is a type of flower that is complex and has bizarre shapes and forms. Orchids also symbolize luxury, love, beauty and strength, which is like how the Lucis Caelum is in my story.

Hadrianus Mathius von Schweinorg, also known as Hadrianus Nox Lucis Caelum, was once a legendary King of a powerful, ancient magical kingdom from another world.

During his reign, he made great contributions to the kingdom by handling the state of affairs of Lucis, assisting in the war effort against the Empire of Niflheim, providing shelter and food for the victims of the war, improving the security of the kingdom's borders, and more.

When news of his death in the defensive battle against the Empire, many wept and prayed to their gods to guide and let his soul find peace in the afterlife.

Loved and highly praised as a wise and caring King, the gods of their world heeded their prayers and gave him the gift of reincarnation.

Reborn in a different world, he tries his best to live his life as freely as he could, while remaining true to himself and mindful of his new responsibilities as the heir to the Schweinorg house.

Kind, patient and compassionate, yet fearsome and vengeful when slighted.

There were no mere words to describe this one's personality, but if one were to simplify it, then it would be 'whimsical' and, sometimes, 'complicated'. A unique King in both mind, body and spirit.

Usually calm and quiet most of the time, but he is not afraid to say what is on his mind, despite how others might take it. He prefers to get straight to the point when it comes to important things, which shows in how he fights and negotiate in business.

But, at the same time, he knows when to be subtle and can be quite tricky to face in battles.

He applauds genuine acts of kindness, loyalty and bravery. He hates killing without reason, reckless actions without consideration, and arrogant and irresponsible people infatuated with malevolence.

He doesn't mind if people talk informally to him, but if there is a slightest hint of genuine disrespect that was uncalled for (like someone insulting him, for example), the offender would be swiftly given a piercing glare (or be quickly surrounded with phantom swords pointing at the target's vital parts) that will make them cower in fear like a whipped cur.

He also doesn't mind helping people if their requests are truly genuine, but again, if said people are honest with their intentions and not trying to manipulate him for their malevolent desires.

Although, he only helps people most of the time. Sometimes, he would not help them if he finds the situation is fitting for people to grow in character or if there is someone more capable to help them.

Due to what he went through in his first life and the next, Hadrian has no faith in mankind in general, but he does have faith in people who are truly innocent by heart and in those that implicitly placed their trust in him, even if they are sinful.

He can tell whether a person is truly innocent or evil in nature with the help of his ability, 'Empathy', and this allows him to judge a person's true character without issue and with utmost subtlety.

He is a dutiful and responsible young man of great stature in the moonlit world, who will do the duties given to him as heir to his house carefully and complete them to the best of his capabilities.

He is quite fond of his family and would go to great lengths to protect his love ones, including his friends and retainers.

He calls his parents, his grandfather, his elders and his mentors with a respectful tone, but he calls those who taught him with the title of 'Lehrer'. So far, the only ones that earned this title from him were his grandfather, Lord El-Melloi II, Lorelei Barthemeloi, and Gilgamesh.
