You Are Scared
After doing the dishes, Dan joined Bella in the living room, where she sat waiting for him.
"Are you not going to bed yet?" Dan asked without sitting down.
"Are you tired? Do you want to go to bed now?" Bella asked with a slight frown.
What was the point of going to bed now when she knew he would be gone by the time she wakes up in the morning?
"I need to freshen up and get some rest. It was a very busy day for me," Dan said, and Bella's face fell.
"Alright. You can go in. I will stay up for some time. I'm not feeling sleepy yet," She said, and Dan gave her a nod before heading for his bedroom.
So she wanted to spend more time with him? He thought she was mad at him, seeing how she had been silent all through dinner. He mused as he went about freshening up.
He picked up his phone his when it started ringing and received the call from Nicole, "Hey!"
