Angry and Bitter.
After the embarrassment he had suffered after getting into a fight with Nick at the party the other night, he had refused to take his mother's call or see her. It was her fault that he had been embarrassed that way after all.
"What do you want?" He asked coldly.
"I know how embarrassed you must have felt about what happened the other night. I'm sorry. I had no idea he was going to do something like that," Juanita said apologetically.
"Why? Why does it have to be younger men? If these scandals were with men your age, I wouldn't feel so embarrassed!" Patrick said through gritted teeth.
"My preference in men shouldn't affect you. I'm only apologizing for the embarrassment. I would never have invited you over had I known he was going to do something like that. Now enough about that, I heard your father is dead. How are you coping?" She asked with a slightly concerned look on her face as she moved over to where he was seated.
