“There are two ways to get in; one is through the official way where all the officials or other people get in and the other is this!” He pointed to a very large gate. The gates opened, and the car went in. “It’s only used by the family, and this is why it’s in the back.”

The car that we were in followed a gravel path, and there were flowers of all kinds surrounding the path. It looked like a garden of some sorts. I noticed a gazebo and my mind instantly wandered off; I thought about how good it would feel to read my favorite book there.

The car stopped in-front of a huge door.

I have seen the palace before, but of course normal citizens weren’t allowed inside. So, when I actually took the first step inside, I felt giddy.

And, oh my God, was the place beautiful.

“Wow!” I was in awe.

I was in a large room which felt like it came straight out of a fairytale. There were two stair cases with exquisite pattern on either side of the huge room. There were large glass windows everywhere and sunlight creeped in through it. It felt more like it was a ball room, then normal room. But then again, I had no idea about what kind of room consisted in a Palace.

There were paintings stuck on the wall, and a huge chandelier hung from the ceiling. It felt like the walls were coated with gold. I looked up at the ceiling and let out a loud gasp. The whole ceiling was painted. The painting that I was looking up to looked magical. There were people in it wearing clothes of bygone era, horses and all of them looked like they were floating.

“Wow!” I exclaimed again. Everything here was so pretty. I felt like my senses were being bombarded from every direction.

Wyatt let out a chuckle, “Yeah, we get that reaction a lot.”

My attention shifted to him, “Of course! You live in a Palace, Wyatt!” I said as I spread out my hands in front of me.

“You are a prince!” I exclaimed with my hands on my mouth. I as really friends with the prince of this country. Life was weird.

He laughed loudly at my exclaimation, “Yeah, I am a prince, Jane.” His eyes twinkled with amusement.

We went up the stairs, and was in a hallway. My eyes were everywhere. I took in the beautiful designs, the paintings, the colours.

A young girl with blonde hair, and blue eyes entered my sight. Her hair was braided and she looked like a doll because of the dress she was wearing. She ran towards us, and looked up at Wyatt, “Where did you go all these days?” She asked him with a fold of her hands. I could tell she was trying to look intimidating by puffing out her chest and all, but she only managed to look cute.

Wyatt leaned down to meet her height, “I was doing some work, Madeline!”

Madeline shook her head and pointed an accusatory finger towards him, “No, you are lying! I heard mother and father talking about how you ran away!”

Wyatt sighed, “I didn’t run away,” He then looked at me, “I got you a German tutor.” Madeline looked at me, and her whole expression changed. All her anger were gone, and it was replaced with a soft expression. It was as if she just realized I was standing next to Wyatt too.

This must be his sister, I thought to myself. There were indeed similarities between both of them. Both of them had the same pair of breathtaking blue eyes.

She bowed down, “Hello, I am Madeline!”

This time I managed to bow down, “Nice to meet you, Madeline! I am Jane!”

I met another man who looked exactly like Wyatt. The only difference was that his hair was blonde whereas Wyatt’s hair was dark black. And his features were a little sharper than Wyatt too.

“This is my brother, George!” I knew. He was the younger brother of George. The second prince.

I bowed down, “I am Jane!”

“I heard you are tutoring Madeline?” He asked me. I just noticed that he was a little taller than Wyatt. I mentally sighed. It looked like everyone in this world was tall besides me.

I nodded my head. I saw his eyes flicker with amusement, “Good luck. That little devil is going to drive you insane.”

I saw Wyatt rolling his eyes, “You are over-reacting!”

“I am not. Kids are horrible, I am telling you!”

“That kid is your sister, George!” I could hear the warning in Wyatt’s voice.

George shrugged, “She is my sister, and she is a kid. I love her, but kids are annoying, brother!” He exclaimed. I tried to hold back my laughter. I could instantly tell that George was the younger brother who liked annoying his older brother.

I thought the dynamics between them was too cute. It reminded me of how Alexis annoyed the heck out of me too, but at the same time she meant the world to me. It was funny how human can hold so many different emotions towards one person. It was wonderful.

At the end of the tour of the palace, I was exhausted. I was sitting outside on the garden. The soft grass pressed against me, and the wind shyly kissed my skin. This was bliss. I closed my eyes and just tried to feel everything.

When I said exhausted, I was not joking. It felt like Wyatt knew all the staff members here personally. I went on meeting people after people.

“I would have introduced you to my mother and father but unfortunately, they are busy!” He broke the silence.

I let out a sigh of relief, “Thank God, they are busy!”

Wyatt let out a laugh, “You really have people anxiety, don’t you?”

“Thank you for realising that just now!”

“I actually figured it out the moment we met. You were so awkward.” He laughed lightly.

I groaned in embarrassment, “Please forget about that!” I said, with a hand on my forehead.

He looked up at the sky. His black hair waving with the wind. He looked more like a normal person than a prince at that moment, “It’s fine. I thought that was funny. Then I just forgot about it because you looked like you were comfortable with me.”

“I am comfortable with you!” I informed with, albeit a little shyly.

He looked at me, and just like always I thought about how pretty his eyes were, “Are you?”

I nodded my head. He smiled, “Great.” Then he added, “I feel super comfortable with you too.”

I smiled softly.
