Day 2

The next morning, I woke up to the sound of the scoutmaster's whistle. I was excited to see Keitaro again, so I quickly got ready; showered, dressed, and headed to the main hall. There were only a few people missing, so we waited for them. Once everyone arrived, the scoutmasters announced our task for the day.

S Richard: Alright, everyone. Listen up! Your first and only task for the day is to get to know each other better.

S Samantha: So get going. Make new friends and have fun.

I was a little anxious, to be honest. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't tell just the truth. They would a hundred percent freak out. Or they would just use me...

I had to think of something. Maybe I can tell them about my personality and lie about where I'm from, but Goddess, I'm bad at lying.

???: Hello.

C: Oh, Goddess. Hi.

A: I'm Alex, by the way.

C: Cornelia.

A: Nice to meet you, Cornelia. So what brought you here to camp?

C: I just wanted to escape everything and try something you. What about you?

A: I was invited by my friend here actually. I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet some new people and relax away from school.

Before I knew it, he grabbed my hand and started to drag me across the room.

C: Wait, what are you doing ?!

A: Don't worry, you got this. I just going to introduce you to the group.

Before I could even open my mouth, I was already there.

A: Hi everyone.

???: Hi Alex. Who is she?

A: Just a new friend I met. Her name is Cornelia.

R: Hi Cornelia, I'm Ryan.

H: I'm Hanna. Nice to meet you.

K: And I believe we already met.

C: H-Hi...

A: Now, don't be shy sit down and talk with us.

C: Ok.

I sat down and looked at them all. Goddess, I felt uneasy. Ok girl, you gotta lie like you never did before.

H: Far away from home. What brings you here?

C: I'm 22.

A: So, what do you learn in school?

C: Oh I'm learning programing. So far, I love it.

That is at least true. I love computers, and since I have all the time in the world, I started to learn how to code recently.

A: You're in luck. Keitaro is a nerd and likes this computer stuff.

K: Hey, I'm not a nerd.

Group: Hahaha.

Time went by fast. Before we noticed it was night already.

S Richard: Alright, everyone, it's time to get back to your cabins. We are going to wake up early in the morning.

S Samantha: Hope you had the chance to make some good friends.

A: Well then, it's time. See you, girls, tomorrow.

Girls: Bye.

Hannah and I went back to our cabin. Inside we talked a little more.

H: He's cute, isn't he?

C: Heh? What are you...

H: Don't play dumb with me! I saw how you looked at him all day with those eyes. You are into him, aren't you? Don't worry, I won't tell him. My lips are sealed.
