Chapter 16

"Good night to both of you. I'm going to sleep." I said goodbye to the two of them before I went up to my room.

As we discussed earlier, we no longer ate dinner. The three of us just chit-chat while watching television in the living room.

I became even more comfortable with the two of them.

It's ten o'clock tonight and I'm drowsy, earlier when we were in the living room while watching TV we talked about each other's lives.

I found out that Lucky and Julien came from the same school. They said, they were not very close then.

Lucky is an only child, I asked her earlier what happened when she poured water on the woman and he said that Mrs.Valdez scolded her because the woman she bumped earlier is an Elite student. That's why that girl is very arrogant.

She chose to study here because she is an scholar of the boss where her mother works. Lucky said that the son of the boss of her mother is also studying here.

As a token of gratitude, her mother's boss asked her to watch and see if his son is doing something wrong inside the Campus.

On the other hand, Julien said that he is not an only child. He has a brother but he don't know where he is.

He is an adopted child. His adoptive parents get him when he was only 3 years old inside the church. Julien doesn't know where his real parents were but still, he is thankful that he's alive and someone is taking care of him.

He also said that apart from his desire to study here because this school is good, he is the chosen scholar student at his school before. He must be pretty intelligent that's why he is the chosen scholar. Lucky Julien, he doesn't need to take an entrance exam here.

Well, the exam was not too difficult, it was proven because I passed. But of course it's different when you have nothing to worry about.

Like I did before, after I took the entrance exam I was nervous, what if I could not pass? will Daddy get angry again?

Fortunately, I passed. Lucky, on the other hand, also took the entrance exam. She said that he was not that smart, she was very happy when his exam result reached the average score.

"Terra, are you still awake?" I was surprised when Lucky suddenly knocked on my door, I got up from lying down and opened the door for her.

"Why Lucky?" I asked her.

"Ahh, there's a man looking for you outside." she said to me so I was surprised

"Huh? Me? Are you sure?"

"Yes, he said that he's looking for Terra, I can't clearly see his face because he is wearing a hoodie jacket."

Lucky shrugged after she said that, I went out of the room with her to go to the one she said was looking for me.

Lucky then came down the stairs with me, she was also the first to come out.

"Where is he?" I heard her asked herself while looking around outside.

"Who are you looking for?" I asked her.

"The man, he's just standing here when I said that I'm going to call you. I tell him to wait but I guess he didn't listen." she answered and make an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, If I only know that he will not going to obey my order to wait for me, I would not have bothered you anymore."

"It's okay, let's go back inside." I said

I let her go inside first. Before I close our door, I look outside once again and I saw a tall man running away, I guess it was him.

I was thinking of calling him, but what if he is a bad guy?

Nah, it's safer if I would not call him. Besides, if he was really looking for me, he will wait outside but the thing is he didn't... I guess I will just sleep at my room now, why is he even looking for me?

When I enter my room, I immediately lay myself down on the bed.

I pray before I sleep, it feels like I am going to have a peaceful night.

I close my eyes and the next thing I knew, it is already morning.

"Good morning Terra "

I was just coming down the stairs when I heard Julien's greeting. He is in the kitchen and I think he is already preparing breakfast.

"Morning, where is Lucky?" I asked.

"Lucky? she said she will go out, I think she's going to the son of the boss of her mother. You know, she need to keep her promise." Julien said and shrugged his shoulders.

He just kept cooking after answering me, I try to help him but he didn't let me.

Julien said that I should just prepare our plates so that we can eat , after eating we are going to take a look at the whole place.

"Where are we going to start?" I asked when we were leaving, Lucky is still with the son of her mother's boss, she texted Julien earlier that we will just meet at one specific place.

"Lucky said that we will meet there in the common hall so that we can go around at the same time, I guess we will go with them later."

"Doesn't it seem embarrassing when we go with the son of his mother's boss?" I asked hesitantly.

I feel like we will be a bit awkward later because I don't know him.

"That's okay, that's better because we'll have an acquaintance from the elite." he answered me enthusiastically.

I just shrugged and didn't speak.

Julien and I walked together on the way to the common hall, many students also walking like us, it looks like they will also go around the whole place.

when we got to the common hall we did not go inside, we just waited outside of it.

It didn't take long when a 4x4 golf cart stopped in front of us, Lucky is seating at the back with a girl that I didn't know while a man that I also didn't know is driving the golf cart. Maybe one of them is the son of her mother's boss.

"Did you wait long?" Lucky immediately asked us when she got off the golf cart.

"No, we just arrived here." I didn't let Julien answer because I know that he will just complain that we waited too long even if it's not.

"Thank goodness, I thought you guys waited too long, here let me introduce you to them." she said and call the girl and the boy with her.

"Alexis, Julien this is Sandy and Santi the heir of the Revery Pharmaceutical Company."

The woman's name is Sandy, while Santi is the man. I smiled at them both but only sandy smiled back at me. Santi just looked at me with no expression on his face.

"Sandy, Santi, this is Julien and Alexis. Alexis is the heir of TRD Group of companies." I couldn't stop Lucky from what she said, I still intended to keep it my secret but since she already said it, I will just accept the possible words that others will say to me.

"TRD huh? The company that has lost money? What else will you inherit there if your company fails? is that's why you are one of the scholars now?" Santi asked with a smirk in his lips.

"Brother! What do you think you are saying ?!" Sandy shouted angrily at santi.

What did Sandy say? Brother? they are siblings? I thought the son of the boss of Lucky's mom is the one who is studying here? Well, Sandy looks kind and doesn't get into trouble so she doesn't have to be watched like what Lucky's doing to Santi.

"No, it's okay." I said because it looks like the two of them will fight.

"Sorry Alexis, come on, let's just go to the mall." I was surprised by what she said

"mall? is there a mall here?" I asked

"Yes, it's a bit far from your dorm so you probably don't know it." she said.

I just nodded and did not speak.

Julien and Lucky and I rode in another cart, because we did not fit in the cart they brought earlier so Sandy got another cart, thankfully Sandy was kind. Santi looks like he don't want us to be with him.

As Sandy said, the mall is a bit far from our dorm but it is inside the Inferior dormitory, it is here inside our village because we are not allowed to enter the Elite Dormitory.

"Oh Santi, your friends are here." Sandy said when we arrived at the mall at the same time.

I looked at the groups of men that Santi went to, they were probably his friends.

the four of us walked towards them, a figure of a familiar man caught my eye.

A tall, with white skinned man is what I saw. His eyes where narrowed and he has a long eyelashes.

You can see the shape of his jaws, his lips are naturally red and he have a pointed nose. Perfection.

"hey paulen, you okay buddy?" I heard one of the boys asked the man that I'm looking at.

"Y-you're Paulen?" I didn't realize I had asked that thing.

I was so nervous when our eyes met, the joy in his eyes disappeared when he looked at me.

that's why he seems familiar to me, shit. This is Paulen Stan Villsuence, my fiance.
