Meeting

Days passed quickly in the usual hustle and bustle. Finally, it was the day of the end-of-month examinations. Although this exam will not have any ranking, most of the people in their class are pretty serious. Even Saba and Lia who usually do not study even before the final exam was influenced by the students in their class.

Because of the exam, the matter of finding the boy named Siraj was put aside temporarily. Asif did not tell much information about Siraj except he is our senior but not from our school.

Kifayat finished her exam early and waiting outside the classroom for the other three girls. She saw many people have already handed out their papers. Some classmates approached her to discuss the answer. Kifayat patiently replied to them one by one. A few minutes later, Cyra and Lia also came out.

Kifayat went close to them but she did not see Saba's figure. "Saba's exam is not finished?"

"Yeah, she is still in the exam hall. Usually she will hand out her paper after half the time is passed."

Lia added that, "it's rare to see Saba getting serious about studying. I don't know what stimulated her?"

"It is a good thing to be serious. We are student now. Our main priority should be studying." Kifayat said while flicking her finger on Lia's forehead.

Although Saba is the less serious in their group, once she makes up her mind to do something she usually tries her best until the end. On the other hand, Lia get distracted too easily. She mostly doesn't stick to her plan for a long time.

While they are chit chatting, Saba also came out. She looked she was in a happy mood. It seems she did well in the exam.

"Yoo!!, Kifayat, Lia, Cyra," As soon as Saba saw the three of them she started dancing in a weird posture and sang along, " I just rocked the exam woo~~~"

"It's just a evolution test. Are you so excited?" Cyra asked while looking at the energetic Saba.

"You don't understand the feeling of answering all the questions."

"Excuse me, I most of the time answer all the questions."

"That's why I said that."

Kifayat interpreted Saba's word correctly for Cyra. " She means you don't understand the feeling when of a scumbug student becoming serious and answering all the questions."

"Ahem! Kifayat although you are right but you don't have to mention the word scumbug." Kifayat pretended not to listen.

Cyra and Lia laughed. "Oh Kifayat what is the answer of the last multiple choice questions?

"Well it's 1/√3"

"It's √3." Saba and Kifayat answered at the same time although the answer was different.

Saba looked at Kifayat in disbelief. "Is not sine" of the angle x is computed by dividing the length of the side opposite of the angle x in the right-angled triangle by the length of the largest side or "hypotenuse""

"Yeah, length of the side opposite of the angle is the side that doesn't "touch" the angle x,"

"Hahaha, Saba you again mixed up the opposite side and adjacent side." Saba felt a little unbelievable. Her previous happy mood was gone now. However Kifayat cheered for her,

"At least you can finally remember the formula properly. This is a great improvement."

Thank you, but Saba did not feel comforted at all.

Hahaha, they laughed again.

"Now the exam is finished, let's go to meet this Siraj guy. He did not send any letters these days, probably did not want to disturb you."

Kifayat nodded. She also thought of this possibility. The sender of the letter is quite considerate while sending the letters. It looks like he is quite knowledge about the situation of our school.

Kifayat remembered in some of the previous letter the sender even advised her about some teacher of school. It is impossible to know without attending their class. That's why she suspected that the person is from their school probably a senior.

"Anyway we will meet him soon. Let's ask him questions face to face then. Kifayat you don't seem very excited to meet him?"

"What is there to be excited?"

"Why not? Just think about a person secretly likes you for so long but doesn't dare to approach you. Only admires you from afar." The setting sounds romantic right!!

"For me to be excited at least I have to see the real person. We are still far away from reaching that guy."

"How are you so sure that guy is not Siraj? Maybe he just pretended to be someone from our school to get close to you."

Kifayat did not replied to Cyra's question. "We will know soon."

Later at the evening,

The street lights in the park light up one by one, and the top of the building is brightly lit. The four girls met at their designated place and waited for Asif to come.

"Do you think he would come? He would not be scared away by us?!" Saba pondered.

Lia tried to defend Asif, "He is not like that. He keeps his promises."

"What's up with you? When did you become so close to Asif." Cyra looked at Lia very seriously.

Saba said with suspicion, "You... Do you like him?"

"What!! No!!"

"Strong denial means agreeing." Kifayat also teased Lia.

"You too!" Trust me I just think he is very similar to the male lead of my favorite drama and...."

"And?~"

"He looks cute."

Asif listened to Lia's praise when he just approached them. He was stunned on the spot. He never even thought in this life, that a girl would call a timid person like him cute. When he realized it he became shy. His ears turned red.

Saba whistled, "The cute guy is here." Lia froze and she was also embarrassed. In order to ease her embarrassment she stomped on Saba's feet.

Saba hissed in pain. Kifayat tried to divert the topic to get the two of them out of embarrassment. "Asif, did Siraj come with you?"

As soon as Siraj's name was mentioned he immediately appeared behind Asif like a ghost.

"Sister in..... Little sister I heard you wanted to meet me." Siraj almost blurted out the word sister in law. Kifayat thought did he wanted to call me sister in law just now?

However Kifayat did not lengthen her talk and just asked straight to the point, "Who told you to give me the letter?"

"I didn't... " Siraj stopped, should not the question be if he sent the letter?

"You don't think I gave the letter?"

"You just denied it too."

"Maybe I lied."

"I don't have the time to chit chat with you. Who wrote the letters?" At that moment, someone from behind said, "Excuse me,"

Kifayat turned around. "You are blocking the road." "Oh I am sorry." She didn't even notice the six of them standing on the road, it is indeed blocked. She made some space for the man. The man passed by them without looking at them. Kifayat was momentarily distracted by the incident otherwise she would have noticed Siraj's nervous face looking at the man.

Kifayat asked Siraj several questions in a row but the man denied everything. Seeing him so tight lipped, she knew he would not answer anything. So she decided to leave but before that Siraj again gave her a letter.

"Although I could not answer your questions, but one thing is for sure that the man only wants your best. Nothing else."

Kifayat took the letter from him and left with her friends.

After making sure the girls have left safely. Siraj went to Arbaz. "Brother you suddenly went to talk to sister in law. That made me nervous. What if she notices."

Arbaz laughed a little and said he didn't mind that. Although what he did was indeed a little impulsive. At first he only wanted to look at her from afar.

The group of four girls standing under a street light. They were chatting and giggling, oblivious to the world around them. He didn't care about the other girls, or the surroundings. His eyes were only fixed on her.

She was always beautiful. Her long black hair flowed over her shoulders, framing her delicate face. Her eyes sparkled like stars, and her smile was radiant, like an angel.

He felt a jolt in his chest, a sudden surge of emotion that he wanted to talk to her, so he pretended to be a passerby. There was a chance he would be exposed, but he didn't want to miss the chance to talk to her once.
