After I saw the notification I started feeling my DE growing and getting denser and denser and it was going around my body , I could feel it seeping into my bones and making them stronger along with my muscles. I could feel my cells absorb the energy like little vampires sucking blood for the first time , and this gave me an exhilarating feeling and I could feel the earth shaking due to my power through the barrier I created so I controlled my power and contained it inside me while my planet remained floating above my palm.

I could feel it's heartbeat synchinch with mine and after a bit it became like a part of me , an extension of me that I could draw power or change whenever I wished. But I could feel even without checking on the system that the energy required for the next rank upgrade was absurd so I didn't think to much about it and focused on the still growing DE. The process took 30 minutes and after it was done I noticed I could either leave the world in the open or I could keep it in a sort of space that was formed inside of me.

It looked like space but without the stars , only the pitch black lifeless space but I could feel the abundant energy inside this space so I decided to keep the planet inside it because I could feel that it was the right thing to do so the planet could continue to grow and develop. After I kept my planet I got up and dispersed the barrier around me then the Guardian said <Congratulations on your breakthrough , you are closer to the same level my creator reached and I predict that the next time we meet you will have surpassed him and thus be eligible to clash with the creature>.

After I heard him I thanked before saying <But didn't you say I only needed to reach your level? I not only reached your level but surpassed it> with my current power I doubted the Guardian would be a challenge to me anymore , that and because different from before I now could feel the current extent of his power so I decided to ask him why he raised the requirements. <In previous requirements , you would be able to go inside but not win.

With the new requirements you carry a chance of winning but I do hope you continue your habit of surpassing the expectations pinned into you because it is what will save you. I can feel that you are immortal but that won't save you from this creature so when I rise the requirements I don't do it with bad intentions> he said so I just nodded and after thanking him I teleported back home , Salem and Harry were still on their game and when they saw me they were a bit surprised so I asked why and Salem said"You usually take a while to get back home when you leave to do your stuff".

I just nodded before going to the kitchen while willing my clothes to change so the symbiote changed them and when I entered the kitchen I was wearing chef clothes. I looked at time and saw that it was almost time for dinner so I decide to cook it earlier than the normal , it took me an hour to cooking and after I was done I put the food on the dining table since the food wouldn't get cold anyways before telling Salem and Harry that I was gonna invite the Grangers to have dinner with us.

After getting their answer I teleported to their house and knocked on the door and a few seconds later Mione opened the door and when she saw me she was so happy she want to hug me but since I was taller I had to lower myself a bit to carry her up , when her eyes met mine she kissed me surprising me a bit before I kissed her back and put her down right when her parents arrived to see who was at the door. After inviting them they happily accepted so after they got properly dressed I teleported them all to my house and they were impressed by the size and after taking them inside they met with Salem and Harry , then we had a great dinner until late in the night.

I had to carry Mione's father George since he was too drunk because we had a little contest to see who could drink more and obviously he lost , after taking some pictures Linda her mother apologise once again for me having to carry him but I just laughed and told her not to worry. After I teleported all of them home as I was about to leave Mione gave me a hug and thanked for the great dinner and I just patted her head and left.

After I got home I went to our room and cuddled with Salem before we both went to sleep peacefully , after I fell asleep I woke up in a dark place. I rarely dreamed and it happened even less the stronger I got so having one these days was very rare. In this dark space I started looking around and after looking around for a bit I suddenly felt danger and looked behind me , when I turned I was very surprised because now I was standing in a garden and in front of me stood a being that could only be described with one word: Evil.

But I recognised this creature that had locked eyes with me , it was the same one I had the job to destroy but I didn't move and kept calm seeing that the creature was analyzing me too. This thing was standing at the same height as me and I couldn't see it's body because it was covered in pure darkness that branched out and formed wings , the only part I could see was the middle of it's chest that had a line that cut it in half and this line went until it's lower lip that had two other black lines by it's sides.

The face could only be described as demonic because his black sclera and red pupils , the area around its eyes had the same dark veiny looking lines that went until the black horn on top of it's head and dark hair , it had pointy ears too but what creeped me more was the way it was smiling showing it's black pointy teeth. After a bit it said in a dark and demonic voice "So you are the one he sent to destroy me , pathetic" and I said with a grin "Pleasure to meet you once again and indeed you do look pathetic" after hearing me the creature pointed it's black sharp finger at me and all my danger senses flared so I teleported to it's back.

Then I tried summoning my guns only to see that they were already on my hand so I fired them at it while boosting the bullets to the max capabilities , when the bullets hit it they created wide holes but then it turned it's head in full 180º before saying "That is useless against me" but I just clicked my tongue before teleporting once again to my previous position this time on guard while willing my symbiote to change my clothes to Gabriel's. "It seems you aren't as pathetic as I thought , but you are still weak vampire" I wasn't surprised it knew I was vampire and said "What do you want and how are you even able to reach me while sealed?".

I wasn't expecting an answer but it said "Well we are connected because of the guy the almost destroyed me , Joseph , so I just didn't reach out to you because I didn't want to. As for the why , let's just say that I wanted to see how strong you are and to my surprised it seems you are almost on the rank of you predecessor but that won't matter much because when the time comes all that will be mine" by the end it was smiling cruelly at me and I didn't know why but this irked me so I shot it some more and this time it faded into dust before I heard "Next time we meet , will be the last" before waking up sweating a bit , "What the heck" I said while laying down again after cleaning myself with magic to sleep this time sleeping peacefully.
