A message from the last one

After we finished our last dungeon me and Leon finally went back to his castle and just like that four days went in that fashion , before the last day we were going to leave I decided that since Velvet and Salem had started the construction of Shade Academy me and Leon would take a day from grinding and help them in managing and direct the construction. With the help of my magic that surprised Velvet and the workers the construction was halfway finished , apparently Salem hadn't showed her magic to Velvet since according to her "I don't have a lot of magic to waste like you" so all this time she and Velvet had been doing things the normal way. This made me wonder what was her magic regeneration rate compared to mine.

But I decided to wait after we got back to our kingdom to ask her since I had to focus on the construction. After that was done me and Salem decided to go to a restaurant to eat and we invited Velvet but she said that she would eat later and remained there working. While we were on the our way to the restaurant Leon asked me through the party system chat <Hey Oz I wanted to ask , will the system disappear after you leave to your kingdom?> and after reading that I thought for a bit before deciding with a smile <No Leon , our party will be a permanent one since and I finally decided on a name for it> and Leon texted back <Haha that's good and finally , what it's gonna be called?> , <ShinRa> and there was no answer for a bit before Leon replied <Huh how creative but how did you come up with that name?>.

And I replied <Well I thought the name was cool so I just decided on it> , <It means God or something like that right?> and I was surprised to see that he knew the meaning of it , mainly because it was Japanese , specifically kanji something that I came to learn in my world but since I came to here I almost had forgotten it since I thought I would never see them again as they didn't exist here in Remnant since the only language spoken here was English so this made me ask him <How do you know what I means> to which he replied <Well my father taught me , I never understood how he knew this strange language or why he was teaching me> and this time I was really surprised 'What?! How could Leon's father know Japanese? Maybe he was a reincarnated person? Or maybe a transmigrated person?' so I asked him since my curiosity was killing me <Hey Leon do you know where you father comes from>?

And after a bit Leon replied <Well he never told me where he was from clearly but he told me that he came from a very distant place where there were no grimms and all was peaceful , he told me that in his birthplace there were giant birds made of steel that were used to fly around the sky , tall buildings that were made of glass and were as tall as the tower of communication you are building. Oh also he said that there were small machines that look awfully like the scrolls you created but they had more advanced things like all the knowledge in the world , this made me really want to go there but he always said in a sad face that I couldn't since there was no way for him to take me back> this time I was sure that Leon's father was really someone from my world since he was talking about planes and phones and this caused me to even show a surprised face.

Seeing my face Salem asked me "What is wrong Love?" and I came back to myself and said to her "Oh nothing just realized something new that I could add to my staff" and she smiled at that and we continued walking , after we sat down at the restaurant and ordered our food I continued talking with Leon through the system <Leon how did your father die? I'm sorry for asking you this but it's really important that I know> and after a bit the reply came and once again I was surprised <Well my father used to travel a lot and one day he came back really injured and with his hair turning white and after leaving a ring with strange inscriptions in my hands he left in a hurry and nobody ever saw him again after that> , I felt sorry for Leon and curious for the ring <I'm sorry for asking and making you remember this> and he just replied with <Meh don't be , I've had many years to understand why he just left and I have come to piece that he did that to protect us to I don't feel that sad>.

<Well okay , Leon after me and Salem come back can I see that ring he left for you?> I asked with him with the hopes that he would let me check it since it was possible that the one before me had left a message for me , and I hoped that this message of his if real would explain why there was another reincarnated or transmigrated person in this world since Rohan (God) had said that I was lucky to be the billionth person truck-kun had killed. Thankfully Leon said that I could see the ring and I thanked him before closing the chat only to find Salem looking at me curiously before saying "Were you talking with someone?" and I smiled and said "Yeah I was talking with Leon" after hearing me she said with a sigh "Are you guys planning to grind all night now?" and this made me laugh before I said "No , no he was just asking if I the party I created would remain even after I left".

"Well will you leave the party active after we leave?" and I just nodded at that before making space at our table so the lady that was coming with giant plates of food could place them and after that we just started eating , well I ate most of the food myself since Salem apparently didn't need to eat as much even with the boost of the system which was something I found strange but didn't ask as it didn't really matter. After we got of the restaurant we went back to the castle and when we arrived the sun was already starting to set so me and Salem decided to take a bath and enjoy our last day , after night came and we had dinner I me and Leon were in the library of the castle walking to one particular bookshelf. "Why would you hide the last thing your father gave you here instead of keeping it with you?"

And he chuckled at that before saying while scratching his head "Well other than me not being able to find any use for the ring I kept confusing it with my marriage ring" and I just facepalmed at that before he stopped at the last shelf that was about poems and he took out a book that had the title of "The Champions' Ballad and he opened the cover before ripping the paper that it had on the inside part and there was a golden ring placed in there. After he grabbed the ring and put the book carefully in the bookshelf he threw the ring to me and said "There you go , just make sure to give it back tomorrow since it is the last thing I have from my old man" and I just said with a smile "Okay I promise to give it back" and after nodding and saying "Well he left the library leaving me alone in there.

So after Leon left I went and sat down at one of the tables that were there and put the ring on the table , this little ring had many small numbers carved into it in a random manner and these numbers went from -70 to 68 , right in the middle of the ring there was a blank spot has if you were supposed to put a number there and this surprised me so much that I burst out laughing before saying out loud "Hahahaha damn it's been a long time since I saw a meme , apparently this guy was indeed from my age since he is a man of culture" and suddenly the ring started shining and in the center a 69 was carved out and the light got so intense and I felt something pass through me before unimaginable pain that made the grimm pool mutation seem like children's play hit me and I couldn't even scream before I passed out.

As I was slowly regaining my consciousness I saw that I was in a white space siting in a chair and this made me say "Aw shit here we go again" and after saying that I head a voice and finally noticed that there was a man siting in front of me , this man had white hair and gold eyes , he was laughing hard before he finally said "Bloody hell it's been soo many years since I had such a good laugh. And now I'm 100% sure you are indeed from my earth and apparently the same era since that meme only came after GTA SA. Well let me introduce myself , my name is Joseph Theodore , well at least that is my name in this world oh and this is just a fragment form my soul. Yeah neat stuff , copied it from those cultivator novels" I was surprised at this scene that I just said "Welp".
