Chapter 28: Season 1 Aftermath Part 1

They finished their embrace as Cornholio was now facing the audience while standing next to the group with his hands up in the air along with his finger stretched out. "We have done it everyone; some may have doubted that we could have gone through it all but now the first season is completed! I think this achievement calls for a celebration!" Cornholio said grinning as balloons and confetti fell from the ceiling, there were the sounds of fireworks with images on the screen as the song Celebration by Kool & the Gang played over the room.

Even the Boiling Isles residents were getting into it and once the music stopped Cornholio faced the audience again saying "I want to thank you all for being a lovely audience; Boscha not so much but the rest of you are alright! Been quite a ride in the hours we have together; we have seen Luz start her journey from a well meaning fangirl to a witch to be respected, we have seen the start of a transformation of what appears to be at first glance a top student bully archetype into a love interest with most fans being on board with (my last OTP which became canon Catradora had a more mixed reception from fans which it did happen), a friendship restored, redemptions and you have seen more of the truth about the kind of witch the Emperor is. Hard to believe it's only been a couple of hours."

"Feels much longer; doesn't it?" Luz pointed out with talks of agreement as Cornholio nodded.

"For me especially as I have been pausing and unpausing reality and having to unpaused reality to bring in someone else and let them catch up along with them." Cornholio laughed as he noticed Amity coming up to him. "Something you want to say or ask Amity?" Cornholio asked as Amity nodded.

"It just occurred to me just now but what has happened to Piniet since you took care of him and freed his writers?"Amity asked as the audience blinked as most had forgotten about this.

"Well let's see." Cornholio said as Piniet in a small cube was in his hand screaming to get him back to normal and most were grinning thinking it was a fitting punishment, in his free hand was a huge stack of paper. "What do you know; he didn't even get one word started on War and Peace or the Stand..." Cornholio pointed out as they both disappeared from his hands.

"Now for the break..." Cornholio said flexing his hands and there seemed to be blast which sent the group near Cornholio down with the audience concerned.

They helped eachother up but Willow shouted to Amity pointing out her hair, Lilith used a mirror spell to show Amity that her hair had become pink to the shock of those nearby. "I... Like it better!" Amity smiled into her reflection.

"I think Luz does as well." Willow laughed pointing to Luz who was mesmerised at Amity's hair.

"You look like a cotton candy goddess!" Luz muttered much to both of their embarrassment.

"Imagine how Mum would react..." asked Edric as he and Emira came to take a closer look and make sure their sister was alright.

"I think the look does suit you Ms Blight but your brother does have a point in how your mother would react..." Lilith said as Amity glared at her and she looked nervous in return. "Too soon after that penultimate episode... i understand..." Lilith said stepping back.

They looked to Cornholio to glare only to be stunned as he got up and looked confused himself, "This wasn't supposed to happen... That wasn't supposed to happen until the appropriate episode..." Cornholio muttered getting a look at Amity shaking his head as they asked what had happened. "The Author powers can sometimes malfunction if they are being used while another Author teleports in..." Cornholio explained as they saw another figure appearing.

It was a young woman with round glasses, an off shoulder white top and jeans. "Sorry did I interupt anything?" The woman asked apologetically as Cornholio had his arms folded.

"It's alright Alyssa, I was just in the middle of getting things ready for the break right after celebrating us all reaching the first season finale! You came here messing up my powers and now Amity's hair change has now happened much earlier than I had planned it to be!" Cornholio said sarcastically as the woman continued to look apologetically. "Well everyone here is Alyssa Lee an Author who is trying out her own experiment in bringing in those from a copy of your universe in order to watch the show." Cornholio explained as Alyssa waved to everyone and in politeness they waved back.

"It's so nice to see you all and Luz; it's nice to meet you again for the very first time as I have just met you in my own experiment and I have paused reality there so I could visit Cornholio in his own experiment. I am such a big fan Luz." Alyssa told Luz looking giddy with excitement.

"So nice to meet you too Alyssa... Wait..." Luz asked realising something, "Sorry but can I ask how you have a normal sounding name for an interdimensional entity while Cornholio... Well has Cornholio as a name..." Luz asked as they thought that it was a good point.

"Well us Authors can choose pennames to use as our aliases and I just want to use mine; why overcomplicate things. Right?" Alyssa answered and they could understand that.

"So why did you decide to call yourself Cornholio?" King asked Cornholio as he looked down on him.

"Well there is this adult cartoon called Beavis & Butthead and Cornholio is the alter ego that the character Beavis uses when he goes on a hyperactive sugar rush, putting her shirt over his head like a hood..." Cornholio explained as all eyes were on him.

"You are an interdimensional entity who is basically a god to us in power... And you decide to call yourself that?" Camila asked perplexed in a feeling shared by the others.

"What? It's a funny name that I decided to use long ago and it kind of stuck... Don't you judge me!" Cornholio explained further as he heard people giggling. "Anyone who doesn't stop giggling I swear that I will erase your name from history and replace it with a really stupid name!" Cornholio warned and there was silence.

"Well nice to see you and sorry about dropping in unexpectedly Cornholio; please feel free to stop on by on my watching." Alyssa told Cornholio and he nodded.

"Thanks and remember my advice Alyssa about preparing to improvise if the shows provides you with unexpected hurdles." Cornholio said as she disappeared. "Now for the intermission!" Cornholio said with the seats disappearing and the tables and buffet table reappeared to their excitement. "After this intermission I will share with you the plans for what we will be doing before we go to the next Season! If you need me I will be trying to predict what the main shipping will be for the Ghost & Molly McGee; Molly with Libby or Andrea. Either that or I will go to their universe and replace the ghosts there with the ghosts from the Ghostbusters movies just to be a jerk." Cornholio said as he disappeared.
