Cinderella Returns

"Of course, she'll be sent there!" Ella was starting to regain consciousness; voices were heard above her.

"[undecipherable]"

"If we told the King, she'd be executed immediately!"

Ella peeked her eyes, people surrounded her as they were talking. "The carriage has arrived!" The people moved towards the voice. When they were out of Ella's vision, she quietly exited the room she was in. She had no idea where she was, nor who those people were, if they were on her side, they would be allies. If not, they are enemies.

As she stepped out of the room, it felt as if a weight was lifted off her chest, "The wand! She used magic to make him forget what happened and make me go unconscious!" Cinderella was sure of it, what else could it be?

Ella of cinders tiptoed up staircases and long hallways, she would have to find Phoebe's room and lift the curse. Ella's eyes seemed to be blank, determined on one goal only, even if it was insane.

Phoebe practiced her 'I do's' before her big night, a choice that would impact her life forever. As she entered the room, her parents bombarded her with questions about everything that had happened, "Well, the King handed me a shell. It's a symbol of True Love!" Phoebe's parents started to explore their new room in the palace, they had moved in earlier that day.

They were granted a key that allowed them to open the locked cabinet inside their drawer, there they stored precious memories and hair supplies.

A towel suddenly lit on fire, it started to spread to nearby chairs and tables, leaving hideous burn marks. Phoebe's mother quickly grabbed a water bowl and doused the rag with water, but it had done its job, it had distracted the Moore's long enough for Cinderella's mice friends to steal Madam Moore's key.

"We'll need a housekeeper." M. Moore muttered as he viewed the damage the small fire caused, Phoebe walked over to the bell to ring it, but the door started to knock almost immediately. "Housekeeping!" M. Moore walked over to the door, "You came quickly..." The 'Housekeeper' cleared her throat, "We're very good!" M. Moore let her in but watched her with suspicious eyes.

The 'Housekeeper' started to clean the floor with a rag, had she not seen the fire damage? Phoebe peered into the water bucket the 'Housekeeper' was using and saw who the girl was under the hat. "We should keep out of your way, isn't that right, Ella?" Phoebe pulled the hat back, revealing a crazy-eyed girl.

Ella got up, "I'm not letting you get away with this!" Phoebe looked confused at Ella, "What do you mean? -" Ella cut Phoebe off, "Jaq, Gus!" Mice started to run off with a Hair Stick with Ella in the lead. Phoebe peered out of her room and saw guards, "That girl is a thief, grab her!" The guards followed her order and started to chase after Ella.

Phoebe followed behind the guards, yet she was close enough to Ella to see the girl push the guards down flights of staircases, she followed close behind Ella and scrambled inside a room the other blonde was locking with a sword, Charming was in the room, watching the scene unfold. Guards started to pound on the door, Phoebe slowly walked from the top of the staircase to the bottom and over to Charming. Phoebe grabbed his arm, "What does she want?!" Phoebe asked fearfully.

Ella grabbed the Hair Stick and started to wave it around, "Lift the spell, let him remember, bibbity bobbity -" Ella was grabbed by guards- whom had just broken into the room -Phoebe's mother grabbed the Hair Stick from Ella. Henri ran with Phoebe up the staircase and towards Ella, "What's going on here?" Henri asked, "She was my old friend, she seems to have broken in and tried to steal something from us." Phoebe murmured to Henri.

"The servant girl is a thief." A guard declared, "I am not a thief! You are under a spell," Ella turned to Henri, "That's why you do not remember me! Please, just listen!" Ella looked over at Phoebe. "SHE'S THE REAL THIEF! GUARDS, ARREST HER!" Ella started to yell at Phoebe, claiming on how she stole her 'Happily Ever After'. The guards took her away, they knew they would take the insane woman to a land far away from their little kingdom.

Phoebe felt guilt watching Ella get taken away by the guards.

Why did Ella hate her so suddenly?
