The Origin Undead System 9

The sun goes down, and the moon shall shine.

A young man's white hair was floating in the air, and his icy-blue eyes were looking at the sky. In the shine of the moon, his eyes lit up, and he felt joy.

Behind him were several creatures kneeling. The creatures directed their head at the ground as one creature stood up and said:

"My liege, we've prepared everything for the expedition. The ones we will take with us are the three ghouls, the vampire guards, two regular vampires, and one skeleton archer." Dracula explained to Elendur, as Elendur nodded and replied.

"Good job Dracula, we will depart in 10 minutes. I wish to take one wright with us. The other one will stay and try to train the Skeletons with wood or stone swords." Elendur commanded as he left the headquarter with the ghouls and the vampires except for Dracula, who had to notify the wright.

10 minutes later...

All undead who were chosen by Elendur gathered in front of the headquarter. The wright kneeled immediately as he saw Elendur and said:

"My liege, it is an honor for me."

"Of course, you are one of my generals. How could I forget you while being on such an important mission?" Elendur replied with a smile as he turned around and added:

"My servants, we shall depart." As Elendur said those words, the ghouls transformed into wolves, and Elendur jumped on.

The moon was shining, and its ray of light guided them. The wolves went faster and faster.

The way was unproblematic without any interruptions or flaws. The problem was that they would need 4 hours to arrive.

The forest was enormous, and the border between the inner and core zone was short. But of all zones, the inner zone was the vasts and also the most life full.

The hierarchy of the forest was also quite balanced. The outer zone had one king, a 1-star fire-wolf, the king of the inner zone was a 3-star shadow-lion, and the core zone was unexplored, and therefore, no one knew the ruler of that zone. But the system said it's at least a 5-star creature.

The inner zone was a challenge. Elendur was happy about the ghouls and their ability to transform; otherwise, he would have been helpless.

The inner zone had many cliffs and was a geographical mess. And therefore, people- creatures that couldn't fly were simply dead.

The more they traveled and went inside the inner zone, they noticed how much lesser the landscape. The trees looked dead, without a single leaf on it, as for the leaves. It looked more than a death valley than a forest.

And as they came further, it became foggy...

Elendur stopped the ghouls and said:

"My servants, we will pause for a minute. Dracula and wright come here."

Dracula and the wright looked at each other and nodded as both of them appeared in front of Elendur.

"My liege, what's the manner?" Dracula asked Elendur in a curious tone.

"Well, if it gets this foggy, it's only a high chance that we may get ambushed; therefore, I wanted to be safe and talk with you about that. The chances that we might get hit are right now at 40%, but if we are riding at the same speed, the chances we get hit are 60%. And I don't want any of us to get ambushed. So let's walk rather, I want to avoid all kinds of casualties." Elendur explained to the wright and Dracula as they nodded in enlightenment.

"Ok, we need to be close to each other. White ghouls transform yourself into a lion while the other two ghouls transform into bears. Skeleton Archer, you will ride on the white ghoul and have the two ghouls as protectors, with those you will ride in front of me.

Vampire guards, you two will take care of the right and left sides. Dracula, you will be right beside me, and wright, you will take care of my back with the two regular vampires!" Elendur explained as all of them went in their position.

"Then let's go!"
