Luminus Incentus

Resting below the Azure glow of the candlelight, the dreadful sounds of the winds slipping through the hollow walls had caused the young girl to shake. Blinking her eyes filled with mist, she raised her palm as a single Ember of a golden radiance appeared within her small delicate palms.

Banishing the darkness with the Sacred Flame, a holy aura sprung around the young child, warming her cold bones. Regaining a healthy glow within her cheeks once more, Aurelia felt her every fiber wrapped in the unfamiliar arms of a mother. Lost in the foreign feeling she never knew she craved. A warm smile touched over her cherry lips.

Touching her budding chest, she giggled, "Aurelia likes this flame."

"Such radiance, my Lady. Such a flame must originate from the Seven Heavens, one of the two Sacred Planes. I suspect it is like Necrotic Blade in a sense. By enchanting your weapons and amour, you may be able to strike those legendary beasts or those without a natural form." Eldritch remarked joyfully. "If I may, your grace, I suggest you begin training your soul now. While it's terribly early, you may benefit more so from soul refinement."

Dismissing her flame, a wave of weariness washed over her mind. Staggering where she stood, Aurelia swiftly caught herself and patted her delicate cheeks, "One of the Two Sacred Planes? What's that?"

"Forgive me. How it slips my mind of your knowledge. The Two Sacred Realms Are the Nine Hells and the Seven Heavens. These two Greater Realms locked in an eternal war of chaos and order are the very core of reality." Eldritch joyously declared, unable to hide the intrigue from his tone. "It is said that they are the reason that Iluthath exists. Including these two realms, twelve Planes around the Iluthtath bring balance and chaos."

"But there is one thing that no one can understand, and that is the complexity of Iluthtath itself. Each of these Twelve Realms carries there own Rules and Laws, yet they all exist simultaneously in contradiction in the realm of blood. Even the Chaos Lords themselves cannot grasp the reason; however, it doesn't stop those from Illuthath from benefitting from each of the Twelve Realms."

"Aurelia is bored!" The Fallen interrupted, pursing her lips. She placed her hands on her hips. "That stuff is boring."

"Oh? Of course, forgive me, but you must understand it, your grace. I cannot grasp the origin of Necrotic Blade, but that Radiant Flame is definitely from the Angels. If you do carry their blood within you, you must start awakening your bloodline." Said Eldritch.

"Anyway, to awaken it now?" Aurelia asked, scanning the eerie darkness around her. She had always been able to see in the night, but for some reason, she could not. "We appear to be in a cellar," she grimly added, taking hold of the azure candlelight by its base. Lighting her path, the barren stone walls were revealed, alongside the aged barrels that smelt of moss and decay.

Drawing her iron longsword, she allowed the Eldritch Staff to hover on its own and took a deep breath to calm her tense nerves, when all of a sudden, a message popped open from her wrist. "Lord Zariel has granted you access to all Zero and Tier One Spell to help with this trial."

Unable to not help herself from smiling at the sound of Anima's statement, Aurelia giggled. "Dumb-Dumb finally did something useful. Compile a list for me best for my situation."

"Zero Spell: Lighting, Mind Sliver, and Sensorium. Tier One Spells: Earth Spiker, Gravity Field, Shield." Anima robotically fired off, "I will begin transmitting to the soul. The Master has requested you try Mind Sliver last, as it's the hardest to learn out of everything."

Licking her plumped lips greedily, a strange eerily dark whizzing suddenly sounded out from the darkness, stirring Aurelia to grow solemn. She readied her weapon.

"Transmitting done," Anima uttered.

Sensing her mind filled with foreign information, Aurelia immediately cast 'Alarm' to ensure she would not get surprised. While she split her focus, she moved forward and started to study 'Sensorium.'

The Sensorium Spell was a way of enhancing perception. It would make the user far more sensitive than normal. However, there was a downside. Should the user be hit or experience a loud noise, there was a good chance they would enter a sensory overload and faint.

Moving without sound, the Fallens footsteps came to a swift halt walking through the dark cellar, holding onto the Azure Candlelight. She creased her brow, and crutched low as the echoes of wheezing drew close.

Picking up on the heavy scent of rotten flesh, drawing closer with each slow step, Aurelia glanced at the large barrel just opposite of her to her left, where the whizzing was heaviest.

"Attack now, and you lose your element of surprise. You still don't know what you are up against—you arent Zariel, who could battle above his realm. Here in the Redwoods, you are but a normal child." Eldritch grimly warned.

Nodding her small head, Aurelia crept forward when the hairs upon her flesh stood on end. Feeling the alarm spell howling in warning, a golden arcana flared off her body. Pivoting off her feet, an azure beam of what appeared to be moonlight pierced through the barrel towards Aurelia's previous location.

Landing on top of a barrel, Aurelia gazed grimly upon the undead with flaming eyes glowing Azure holding onto a simple-looking wooden staff and sword. Releasing a gruesome wail, it arched its staff as seven sigils of the crescent moon appeared.

Shaken to her core, a faint eerie chant of a whisper echoed from the Undead Mage, "Luminus Incentus."

Watching the very moonlight shimmer with foreboding, Aurelia dashed forward, just as the Luminus Incentus fired. Releasing Seven beams of moonlight carrying a warm, gentle aura, Aurelia felt nothing but death as the moonlight moved faster than her firebolt. Pivoting the moment the spell left, its sigil, she leaped away in terror. However, to her horror, each of these beamed had seemed to lock onto her body.

Unable to move in time, Aurelia's eyes grew wide, as despair poured from her heart when all of a sudden a mighty bellow resounded format he Eldritch Staff,

"I Grant Thee, Shield!"

Wrapping the young fallen in a ghastly light filled with an aura of death, Luminus Incentus came into contact with Aurelia only to fade away like it had come into contact with the endless depths of the abyss. A ripple raced over the ghastly light around her before vanishing away like a dream.

Snapping her finger, four scarlet sigils of fire bolts appeared in an instant as Aurelia glared at the Undread. Wasting no time, the color of these sigils began to change to a cold gold, brimming with holy light.

"Sacred Flame," she muttered, turning a bit pale.

Whisking through the air, at speeds Aurelia's eyes could not even process, the moment the Sacred Fire Bolts touched upon the undead, its body turned to ash, leaving nothing behind but its sword and staff.
