The Cities in the Desert

I found one of the cities in the desert. And as the Fake Emperor said, this city seems to have been destroyed by the Stampede. Though there's no more monster there.

The weird thing is that there are several master level mages in the city. I doubt that they are too weak against the monsters. But the fact that they are enjoying themselves in the buildings that weren't destroyed meant that they never care about other people at all.

I suspect that they are from the cult. Even if they aren't, I don't like them.

Among all the surviving building, the church is one of them and is also used as a shelter for people who had their homes destroyed. They must be purposely protecting the church from getting destroyed so they can gather more believers.

I can see people praying in that church. But even then, there are not many members of the cult here it seems.
