"Right her miss,he seem like a nice guy am sure you will like him, besides you haven't been in any real romantic relationship for a while anyway,it's so hard for you to like people,so picky ".

"I know my situation,don't rub it on my face,he is handsome I should say,but he seem a little familiar,I think I have seen him somewhere but I can't quite put my fingers on it".

"No way,I can't be,I heard he hasn't been around for a while and you just came back a few months ago, whatever if you have meet before,it fate my dear".

"Hand me my make up bag,I need to touch up,I have to look the best,you know ".

"My dear you are outstanding even without it,am sure he is going to be head over heels for you,we are here,go get him ".

It's the Empire hotel, pretty famous for its glamorous feature, great service.Its quite beautiful.As Jane walks in the hotel,it's all sparkling,well it's suit my taste,test number one,it's a nice pass,Jane thought.

"Welcome miss,how may I help you?",the female receptionist asked with a bright smile on her face.

"Well am here to meet someone by the name Mr Hong".

"Sure miss, right this way,he is waiting for you".

As the receptionist lead the way through the well decorated hallway,with a beautiful red carpet with golden patterns on the side that lead to a private room,the scents on the air were refreshing and calming the nerves.

"We are here".

"Thank you".

When Jane open the door and step inside she could not believe who was sitting in the room,with a white shirt,royal blue suit and black leather shoe that were shinning quiet much,you can tell an effort was put on preparing them,the watch on his wrist did a wonderful job,he was elegant,she knew it was not a time to act up but keep her cool.

"Hello,Mr Hong,you haven't wait for long have you?".

"It's no trouble, please have a sit".

"So,let's get down to business then,we are both her because of our parents".

"Yes,you are very straightforward,but can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead"

"Have we meet before,you look a little familiar"

"You mean,you don't remember me?,am flora,the girl you gave a name on the streets downtown"

"I see now,it's you ,you look different than the last time I saw you,how have you been?"

"You have some nerve there considering you left without saying goodbye,the old man at the motel couldn't tell me anything about you since you didn't say anything to him too,you just left".

There was a moment of silence in the room,they both took a sip from the coffee and relaxed back,Jo let out a long sigh and looked at Jane.

"Look, I apologize if you feel that way miss, should we get to know each other,I think we started on a wrong foot,so what is your name?"

"It's Jane Reyes"

"Am John Hong,I use Jo often,nice to meet you"

"It's a pleasure,so let me cut the chase,how are we going to do this,few more dates or what?"

"About that, actually am not interested,I have someone I like already,am just doing this to avoid any conflicts at home, just tell your parents that you don't like me,am sure you feel the same way, right?, it's ridiculous to marry someone you are not in love with,don't you think so?"

"Yeah,sure I agree"

"Am glad we are on the same page,I will be going now,have a nice lunch"

"But — we can fall in love after marriage,"Jane whispered

"Are you saying something?"

"Not really,you can go ahead,see you around ".

Jane could not believe.She pulled the phone from her purse,take a pillow and bury her face and let out a scream of frustration, breathing in quick, trying to calm down.Jane was flooded with a feeling of pure rage and thus her mind was in chaos and afraid when she lifted the telephone stand before her face and the earpiece to her ear

It was quite on the other end.A couple of click sounds and at last the respond came.

"Hello,how did it go"

"Mom I need your help,where are you?"

"In the office,come and talk to me",few beps were heard as she hung up.

Jane left the room and head to the car.

"Let's go to my mom office "

"Yes miss",the drive answered.

Something strange has happened to Jane's anger,it was burning up but not just that,it had odd warmth,fear of losing someone,it was a new feeling to her,she is used to have everything she wants and now the man that made her heart flatter didn't not like her but like someone instead.It was unexpected.

In her mother's office,she pause, during which Jane thought fast. Without a warning,Jane found herself trembling in fear, going around the the table,her heart was beating fast,"I must have him",she whispered.

"Bobi,can you tell me what exactly happened between the two of them,she was super excited about the lunch date,did she tell you anything on your way here?"

"No ma'am,she hasn't say a word apart from the few words she just whispered just now"

"Will you calm down and tell me what happened to you,you look like a mental patient right now,sit down right now and speak",her mother yelled,it was clear she was starting to get on her nerves.

"Mom,he is the guy I told you about,he one that helped me downtown,am in love with him but—"

"But what?,say it will you,my patience is running thin with you young lady "

"He likes someone else,mom,he..he is in love with another woman,you have to help me,I want him mom,we need a plan or something to make him love me, only me,say something Bobi"

"I will look into him right away maaam"

"Find everything you can about him and his family from way before they became a political figure, everything before the weekend "

"Yes"

"Take her home, instruct the nanny to make calming tea for her and let her rest early ".

Jane followed Bobi to the parking lot,get in the car and head home without saying anything else expect the few words that she keep whispering to herself,"I must have him"
