Working at a graveyard was weird, that was all he could say about how he felt about it, he just got the creeps a little when he even thought about how late they worked there digging graves. It was on the tip of his mind to push his father into one and bury the man alive, but that would be something that could be traced back to him so he didn't do it, he could still wait it out.
It was the next morning and he was making his way to breakfast again, his father hadn't touched him the night before or gotten mad at him, he also didn't plan to beat the man today. There was no other reason then him being hurt, his ribs were still in pain though they were healing fast, he would try again tomorrow that would be the best time.
The time at the breakfast table was spent with the two of them glaring at one another, they didn't say anything at all even as they packed up and gotten into the car.
When they arrived at school Isaac walked off without a word, they had their first practice today and he was more worried about that, although it didn't guarantee first line it was a shot. He also knew Scott became a wolf last night and that Allison would be here today, which means he was fully into the show, there was nothing to stop it now.
As he was walking into the school he passed by Scott and heard him and Stiles talking about wolves, he didn't interfere and kept walking, at the moment it had nothing to do with him. He wouldn't get involved unless dragged into it, at the moment securing his future was a little more important then being part of the supernatural world.
Hell he didn't even choose this world, if he could he would have went with something simple like Gossip Girl or One Tree Hill, something that were like those so he could relax, he wasn't good with the supernatural genre. The only reason is because with the supernatural shows you had to get involved or it would be boring, or at least forge your own path that others didn't mess with.
When he got inside the school he ran into Danny again who seemed in a better mood then yesterday, though he still wasn't fully sure why Danny got close to him really. He doesn't know when but he knows that Danny will find out about the supernatural, well with him sitting close to Stiles in chemistry and Stiles having a big mouth it wasn't that hard to realize.
There might actually be more people who know seeing how openly they spoke about it, sure they whispered some times but most of the time they were talking as if no one was around to hear them. Like in the middle of a dense hallway filled with other teenagers, but they were trying to keep it a secret, well they were horrible at it was all he could say.
Finally they made it to English and the day started, as him and Danny entered the room he saw the open seat behind Scott and knew the kid picked up on Allison talking when he looked towards the door. How he couldn't realize what he was sooner was a real question that he wanted to know.
When she walked in Isaac being stunned was an understatement, how every male in the room didn't go stupid like him was a real shocker, the girl was a walking goddess as she made her way to her seat. She might not be showing it but he could see the confidence in the walk she had, she was so graceful as she moved around the seats taking the one behind Scott like in the show.
Her face looked as though it was carved and he just had the hardest time ever looking away from her, her full lips were obvious to see from where he was sitting as if a bee had just stung them or kissed someone fiercely. She must have felt his stare though he couldn't look away her alabaster skin tone keeping his gaze, she smile slightly looking over at him a playful expression on her face.
The blush was giving her away though that she wasn't as confident as she seemed with him staring, but he couldn't help himself, he wouldn't say it was love at first sight but it was as close to it as possible. He didn't believe in love at first sight, he was more of a get to know you type of person, and he can say with full confidence he wanted to get to know her.
Smiling back he sent her a little wave, she might fall for Scott like the show but that didn't mean he couldn't be a friend to her, he was a patient person plus he wasn't going to jump right in. Her blush seemed to increase as she finally realized that they were staring at one another, in her eyes he could see what he thought all along, he was handsome.
That seemed to make him smile more as he thought of it though, a lot of girls at the school wasn't going to see that after just a day, but for her she was new and was looking at him with fresh eyes. She wasn't judging him for his past, instead they were both looking at blank canvases where they could get to know one another, which actually sounded good to him.
Like he wanted he was going to experience high school life all over again, and he wanted to do the whole best friend and love thing, they were things he could look back on fondly. Also he didn't see why he couldn't help her live, that was a major thing that pissed him off, within the span of two years her whole family was slowly killed off.
First her aunt Kate, then her mother, next her grandfather, well basically since he had cancer and was dying from a failed werewolf bite, it was a surprise he was still even alive in season three.
"Mr. Lahey, yes she is a new student but that doesn't mean you need to watch her all the time, class is still going." The teacher said from the front making people look at him and drawing him out of his thoughts.
There were laughs or giggles around the room, Allison seemed to be blushing too as people looked at her, he smiled looking at the teacher, "Sorry I was just curious about her, you know we don't get many new students. You are right though class first, we shouldn't waste this time that we have here."
The teacher nodded while everyone looked away from Allison, he was trying not to make her uncomfortable with his staring, and his explanation was just to get her to know that he was interested in her. Not romantically right off the bat, but at least she could try and talk to him after class and get her first friend, no telling when she would get one.
At the moment she was just the shiny new toy that everyone wanted, he knew her from the shows though, but that didn't mean he knew her not the real live person that was in front of him. He needed to talk to her and actually learn from her, there was more to a real person so he wouldn't just got based off what he knew from the show, she could be completely different here.
For the rest of class he sent her looks, he also got some in return from her, but he could also see that Scott was a little mad, it was the small glares sent his way along with the tapping of his leg. Isaac wasn't to worried though, he would kill Scott if it came down to a fight, it was something that could be done so why not.
The store could still go on without him, but he was hoping that it wouldn't come to that since then someone would need to replace him, and it could be anyone which would throw him off. Sighing he forgot about it while waving at Allison a little, she smiled shyly while send him a wave back.
'Meet me after class?' He mouthed at her when they were both looking at one another and the teacher had turned her back to them to write something on the board.
She raised a brow, he could see a playful smile on her lips and she nodded her head, she was showing signs of the later Allison who was confident in herself. This was really attractive to him too, he could understand the earlier her who is shy and nervous thanks to being new, but it also was Scott's fault a lot that she was the way she was in the beginning.
They just started dating way to early, it hadn't even been a week with her having no time to settle before he asked her out, which means she didn't get a chance to branch out more and find something she wanted to do. Getting involved with him made her less confident about herself since she split all her time trying to figure out what he was hiding from her, then when she learns it leads to family members deaths.
He was hoping that with his help she would be able to change some, he didn't want her to go down the same rabbit hole, some things were avoidable like her death being the biggest. Even if they stayed friends he would do it for Chris, the man didn't deserve to lose his whole family because Scott decided to come mess everything up in his life.
He stooped thinking about it though as the bell rang, he didn't want to show any hate to Scott or his choices, everyone had their own and what he did was on him and no one else. All Isaac would do was try and help as much as he could, he wouldn't change other peoples ideas or stop them from doing what they wanted.
Walking out the class room he nodded at Danny who went ahead while he waited at the lockers across the hall, Allison came out the room with a slight smile raising at her lips when she saw him waiting. She only hesitated a moment before she walked over to him standing in front of him, "Hi, I'm Isaac." he said with an easy smile reaching out a hand.
She didn't hesitate to take it while making a light joke, "Oh I know, you are the kid who likes to stare at people in classes."
He laughed while taking his hand back, but he didn't pull it fully back instead he swung it over her shoulder while turning them down the hall, "That was because I was confirming if you were going to be my new best friend, and you happened to pass that test so there you go." He said while taking her schedule, which she didn't seem to mind as she smiled at him.
"Seeing as I am new here I guess that is fine. Allison by the way, just in case you didn't hear the vice principal introducing me, you know because of all the staring." She teased as she bumped her hip with his own.
He looked up from her schedule shocked but a smile stretched across his face, "Yeah I am not letting you go, you are going to be my best friend even if I have to attach us at the hip. And just so we are clear it was you who was staring at me, not the other way around."
She rolled her eyes but she did giggle at what he said, "Whatever you say stalker, now where are you taking me cause my next class is----"
She broke off her sentence as he smiled at her, "Your class is right here, I was just taking you through a short cut. I will see you at lunch Allison."
