The Middle East Situation

Time had passed and now it was the year 2027 and the world situation was escalating tremendously. 

The Chinese Empire had stabilized to a point where they have become self-sufficient in most things, Their Trade Port's have started to receive lot's of visit's from the various countries of the world, increasing Trade and the countries GDP has seen an increase.

Korea which has become an independent Nation after the War with the Japanese Empire is also managing well since now the Country is free from being ruled by the Japanese and is also being supported by the Arcadian Empire.

Korea and the Chinese Empire have signed multiple agreement's including military agreement's to help each other out during time's of war and to combine the two cultures to get along with one another.

The Arcadian Empire mostly stays out of the affairs of Korea and only support's their economic growth so that in a few years they can start to handle themselves.

Arcadian Military vessels are given unlimited access to the Korean Port's and territorial water's in order to enforce the International Law that makes anything 12 miles from the coast of a Nation is considered it's territorial water's while everything else is international.

Then some countries had economic zones that was used for fishing which was between 50-200 mile radius.

Until Korea can build warship's capable of defending their water's Arcadia have taken on the request for them and have been policing the 12 mile's of water off their coast making sure no unauthorized ship's and other thing's enter without permission.

Of course the same thing was going on with the Chinese Empire since they only had few ship's, but with the rise of industry in the Chinese Empire, a few years was all it would take for them to start increasing their Naval power.

Otherwise then that the situation in the Middle East has been heating up ever since the United Kingdom has sent more forces to the region.

US forces that go on deployment's to that region have also increased since the attack on their allies making the situation become even more toxic than it already is.

On March 4th 2027, At the city of Muscat which is a British controlled territory; British forces were on the coastal province performing exercises to show off their military power and prevent their enemies from do something that would provoke a war.

British General Casper Burns was in charge of the British forces in this area to oversee the protection of their forces in the region while also trying to keep Iranian Intelligence forces from gathering intelligence on them.

It should be known that the region that the British currently occupied was the region of Oman which has been a British territory for the last 70 years.

It allowed them access to the Middle East which often resulted in conflict's with the other nations of the Middle East since the United Kingdom still maintained a presence that threatened them every day.

One such power was Iran who was the regional power of the Middle East and supported the independence of the Muslim's living on Oman.

British General Burns was sitting at his desk sipping his coffee while looking at the report's on disk about Iranian troop movement's and such.

When all of a sudden a massive explosion occurred in a distant building.

"What the Hell" Yelled General Burns as he grabbed his hat and went outside.

As soon as he stepped outside he saw a massive cloud of black smoke coming from a distant building.

One of the soldier's walked up to the General and saluted.

"What the hell is going on Sergeant" asked the General.

"Sir we believe that a bomb just went off in that building over their and we getting no response from our forces in that area. A QRF force has already been sent to investigate and we are putting the base on lock down as we speak" Reported the Sergeant. 

But before the General could speak another explosion went off at another building. Then moment's later gunfire was heard on the street's in the distance.

General Burns snatched the radio of the Sergeant and started to order all personnel in the base.

"All Personnel this is General Burn's we are under attack, I say again we are under attack by unknown forces, lock the city down and make sure no one leaves" Ordered the General

Just after he said that another soldier came on the radio with gunfire heard in the background "Sir this is Charlie 0-1 we are under attack by Rebel forces and we need support, Half my squad is down and the Rebel forces have number's on their side" Reported the squad leader on the other end.

"Copy that, Brave 1-3 do you copy" Said the General

"We copy Sir" Replied Bravo 1-3 squad Leader

"I want you to go and support Charlie 0-1 while I request backup from the Air Force Base in the Command Post" Ordered General Burns

"Copy that Sir, ETA 6 Minutes Sir" General Burns handed the radio back and went back into the Command post to report this attack and contact the Air Force Base for some support.

Once he reported what was going on to the British Government the information was released to the public that British Troops had come under attack in the Middle East by rebels.

The Carrier Strike Group sent to that region was redirected to support their forces in that region and to find out who this attack came from via Naval Intelligence.

This attack was backed by the Iranian Government which gave weapon's to the Oman Rebel's to fight the British troops in that region and cause trouble while Iran continues it's regional dominance plan.

While that was going on the War in Africa against Nigeria was nearing it's End as the Capital city was surrounded and the Government was close to collapsing.

The war has been raging on for 11 months which has caused thousand's of death's on both sides of the war.

But with the Combined might of the UAN the invasion by Nigeria was stopped and it also showed to the world that the UAN could defend it's member's should it come to that.

Following this two more nation's applied for a membership in the UAN. The first was Morocco and the second was Egypt.
