1 - The Class Awakening Ceremony

A large amount of students could be seen standing out in the middle of sports field all standing in lines as their principal came up onto the stage.

"Now I don't think I have too tell you all the importance of today is, as all of you are about to go through your Class awakening and I remember the time I went through mine..." The principal started to get lost in the speak and almost didn't realize that the audience of exited and nervous students were quickly becoming board.

"Anyway let us begin" He coughed before walking off the stage, as a teacher took his place before she started to call students over to the Ceremony Array.

The Principal walked over to a small set of chairs where two other older men were sitting watching the ceremony.

The Principal sat down with them before speaking to a man who gave off a air of authority and wealth.

"Mr Chang it is a pleasure too have you here with us today" The Principal flattered him as he poured some tea for him.

"Oh, well yes I was in the area so I thought I would stop by." Mr Chang spoke lightly however you could easily tell he wasn't actually paying much attention.

The other man didn't pay much attention to Mr Chang or the Principal instead he drunk his tea while watching a young girl among the students.

The Principal continued to talk to Mr Chang.

"Your Son Chang Heng is an extremely talented student I have no doubt that he'll become powerful in the future."

"Well of course he's my son after all" The Principal nodded as if it was only natural before turning to the other man.

"And Mr Waters your daughter is truly a blessing too all." His words caused Mr Waters to smile slightly as he tried to hide his pride.

"Yes she does work very hard but unfortunately she doesn't like to tell me about everything, how are her grades is she doing well?" He sounded a little guilty as he didn't have much time away from work, combined with the fact his daughter didn't like to involve him in her problems, he almost had no idea of what her study was like.

"She's doing wonderfully she's is second in her year with amazing results." The Principal smiled happily at having such a brilliant student.

While they were talking the first student walked over to the magic array to the Class Crystal in the middle.

Breathing in nervously everyone watched as he placed his hands on the Crystal.

The Crystal glowed slightly before the Magic Array followed turning blue before stopping.

The young boy has an excited face as the teacher spoke with a smile on her face.

"Very good a Hunter, please go over to stand in the combat class area"

The atmosphere among the students became more heated and exited as it was rare for the first to awaken a support class let alone a combat class.

Mr Waters spoke to the Principal who had lit up in Joy.

"A Rare combat class first congratulations"

"Ah thank you I'm sure your daughter will be at least Epic I'm sure of it."

"Please you flatter me too much, Epic is quite unlikely after all there was only two in this city last year."

All class are broken up into three main classifications Combat, Support and Life occupations.

Each class is further broken up into different qualities common (white), Uncommon (Green), Rare (Blue), Epic (Purple) and Legendary (Gold).

Soon the next student went up only to freeze in shock and despair as he had awakened the farmer class which was only a common grade.

Infact Life classes are not bad as they are very much needed and can easily make a lot of money but almost all of them have no combat ability and for those that do you need to reach a extremely high level.

So in a world of constant war and battle the younger generation is raised to fight for their country so becoming a Life class is not seen as well as a combat or support class that fights on the front lines.

What's even worse for this student was he became a common farmer, so in his own eyes he can only place his hopes on his children.

Walking off the stage he stood depressed in the Life class area, but he wasn't lonely for long as the next student joined him.

Infact it is normal for each ceremony to have more or less half of the awakened students to be Life occupations so more quickly joined him.

The Principal's face became slightly dark as he had two of the most powerful people in the city here today so he quickly became embarrassed.

But luckily for him Chang Heng was next and he had unexpectedly good results.

Chang Heng had dark black hair and eyes, he carried himself with a air of arrogance and superiority looking down at everyone else.

He stepped into the Array with complete conferenced in himself, like he was guaranteed to get amazing combat class.

The Array change into a bright purple quickly causing Mr Chang and the Principal to become exited.

They both used their appraisal abilities to see the what class it was.

[Chang Heng - Blood Berserker (Epic) - Level 0]

"Blood Berserker" Mr Chang smiled happily that his son could awaken such a strong class.

They both happily talked to eachother as Chang Heng walked over to the combat area but as he passed the other students he looked at a certain boy with a arrogant face.

The boy stood very tall for his age at 5.11, but that wasn't what made him stand out in a crowed, instead it was his head of pure white hair and his striking black eyes along with his handsome face and the cold air he gave off.

Feeling a gaze full of hostility Victor looked over only to find the most annoying person currently in his life.

"Sigh, so immature." Shaking his head he went back to waiting for his turn.

6 years ago he awoke in the body of a 10 year old after his death, gaining the originals owners memories he quickly found out that this world was completely different from his.

With people having the abilities straight out of video games and novels he was shocked, but also scared as monsters, demons and other horrors existed.

But he became intrigued by the strengths people could obtain in this world, so using his higher maturity and previous life's knowledge he worked hard in school quickly becoming first year in order to improve his chances even if a little to have the best future.

However there was one thing, he always felt alone as he was too mature to make friends with other kids and so he became less and less social, speaking less to others around his age.

It got to the point where other kids didn't even want to talk to him let alone make friends, so he became more lonely than ever especially because his family sent him away to Flora City to study away from the family.

Standing there waiting a arm leaned across his shoulders as an exited voice following which came from next to him.

"Victor are you excited? What class do you think you'll get?" Michael, Victor's only friend he's had since even before occupying this body asked with a checky smile.

Michael Knight stood slightly taller than Victor at 5.12 and unlike Victor, Michael wasn't very good when it came to school but he had a strong large build full of bulky muscles but unlike his appearance he was a great friend.

"I still don't understand why that guy is always so upset." Noticing Chang Heng, Michael slightly shook his head before changing the topic.

"You don't seem nervous at all do you" Michael smiled cheekily especially when he noticed Victor giving him a slight look out of the corner of his eye.

"Ling Waters" Hearing the teacher call out this name the surrounding students payed attention as a beautiful girl with bright red hair walked forward.

"What class do you think she'll get?" Michael asked with a face full of interest.

"A magic class" Victor's light voice answered with his guess.

"Oh ok yell I bet she'll get a support class winner gets to be the party leader" Victor gave Michael a side glace but still nodded his head agreeing to be he bet.

Hearing his daughter getting called up Mr Waters sat up and placed his full attention on her.

Placing her hands on the Crystal, it quickly glowed purple signifying she got a Epic class.

[Ling Waters - Cinder Witch (Epic) - Level 0]

"Cinder Witch!" Hearing the class everyone became shocked that she got a class on the brink of Legendary and if she did her Tier 1 advancement correctly she could upgrade her class into the Legendary Fire Witch.

Walking down the stage she went over to the other combat classes and was quickly approached by Chang Heng who tried to make small talk.

Next other students went up and they were 13 life, 7 support and 5 combat classes making the Principal even happier.

Finally it came time for Victor with Michael being next.

Being called up he took a deep breath before walking up but little did he know that not far away was a strange small bird with small flames flickering on and off of it.

The Flame Bird watched Victor's every more and if you were to look into it's bright eyes you would find they seemed to be connected to another place.

Walking over to the Array his eyes showed a very rare light of immature excitement.

Placing his hands on the Crystal and closing his eyes, he was brought to a different space where he watched as a mage covered in a black robe used magic to kill all sorts of creatures as he studied death.

Victor quickly became disappointed upon seeing his new class and he knew he would have to work a hundred times harder than others to achieve his dream.

However before he could do anything the world around him started to become black as though someone was spilling inc on a page.

Outside everyone saw the blue light making Michael and the Bird to become sad however before they could react the light started to change rapidly from blue to gold.

Everyone eyes widened as the Principal stood up in shock as everyone else looked over.

Chang Heng's face changed becoming angry and jealous, Ling's face changed slightly but only she knew her thoughts.

Inside the illusion world Victor watched as a Black Book appeared in front of him as mana as black as the abyss dropped like liquid inc from the book changing the scene in front of him.

Looking at the Book his attention was drawn to the front cover where a sliver skull that had light blue flames in it's eye sockets that gave off a chilling cold air.

Intricate green and white blue magic runes covered the book giving off a air of magic and mystery.

Becoming interested in the runes Victor failed to notice the changes that took place to the world finished, becoming a World of undead and death.

The sound of bones moving caught his attention, looking up he saw the now changed world with black sky and void of life.

He saw all kinds of Undead from skeletons, lichs, ghosts, bone dragons to huge abominations that could be seen as large as mountains in the distance.

As he watched he noticed a figure in a complete black robe the oozed shadows and black magic appear next to him.

Victor watched as he raised his bone staff and lightly slammed it down on the ground as armies of hundreds of thousands of undead came out of the ground.

They charged forward to kill their foes only for the dead to get back up and join their for killing their once comrades.

The Black Wizard raised his hand and pointed at a enemy as a black fireball shot from his hand and exploded killing his target.

Victor became solely focused on the world and especially the Wizard in front of him.

With the only thought in his mind was a type of mage from fantasy in his last life...

'Necromancer....'

But before he knew it the world in front of him was absorbed back into the book as it flew into his chest and fused with him.

[Hidden Class - Necromancer - Legendary]

Coming back to himself on the stage Victor walked away absent-mindedly only for Michael to slap him on the back bring him out of his shock.

The teacher spoke with shock after seeing his class.

[Victor Wise - Necromancer (Hidden Class Legendary - Level 0]

"Hidden Class Necromancer" She spoke with excitement before calling up Michael.

"What's got you so distracted, that's not like you at all" Michael asked with worry on his face.

"I've got a class that's the combination of a mage and summoner." Victor spoke lightly thinking back to that scene of undead and the knowledge of his past life.

"Oh cool sounds strong but to bad all you mages have no physical ability, ha you know what I just might become your sword and shield how about that, than you wouldn't need to worry anymore" Michael grinned with a smile full of mischievous but behind it he really did mean it.

Victor gave him a a look before sighing.

"Fine, do as you please." Victor walked away to the Combat area as he watched Michael.

Michael placed his hands on the Crystal and as soon as he did Victor felt something was wrong as he felt the book in him vibrate.

And a magic connection was formed as a magic contact appeared in his mind, he quickly realized that it came from Michael.

Thinking back to what his Grandfather used to tell him about he couldn't help but hesitate but when he thought of what Michael said earlier he gave in allowing the connection to form.

The light of the Array changed into Gold making the Principal jump with joy at not have one but two Legendary classes.

[Michael Knight - Necromancer Knight (Special Class Legendary) - Level 0]

Seeing that it has something to do with Victor's class Mr Chang and Mr Waters became interested.

Michael came to Victor with an exited smile as he placed his arm over Victor.

"I'll be your knight and shield so don't worry I've got you" Victor shook his head at his actions.

What Michael did was awaken a special class called a Mage Protector a special Legendary class, the most special part of this class was it would have no abilities but making one of three contracts that could be signed by a magic class of Epic or above.

Doing so will change their class using the magic class as the base to change or create a new class perfectly suited for protecting and fighting for the magic user.

For example if used on a Saint, priest or priestess then the Mage Protector will turn into a Paladin, Sacred Knight, holy knight, holy swordsman or Sacred Swordsman.

So what Michael did was connect his future to myself, so from now on we will both be the same level having the same experience pool meaning we will need twice or more experience to level up.

Much like a party but permanent, we'll equally share all experience. But they will still be able to join a normal party or leave it like normal in the future.

But It also comes with perks as the Mage Protector gets unique abilities and skills that can either allow them to borrow magic and spells or allow them to fight stronger opponents.

There is even a example in history that a duo call the Radiant Paladin and Priestess of light has the ability that made it so that if the Radiant Paladin died then the other could revive him from death.

Overall the class has insane potential but is looked down by most as it is reliant on outside influence and most of the time they work for the magic class, however never think they are weak.

Any magic type class will be more than happy to get a contract with a Mage Protector or equivalent class.

Far far away a old man sat watching a crystal ball with the scenes of Victor and Michael, he looked similar in appearance to Victor just much older and gave off a air of knowledge and magic.

"Oh so he's got a never seen before class... oh Your grandson isn't bad either John, still continuing the family traditions as well."

He turned to his right where another man was sitting he was tall and handsome with scars on his face, giving off a powerful arua of a warrior.

"He hasn't let me down, even though he is a air head." He spoke with a rough voice.

"Well they'll both hopefully do well in the exam next week" They both sat there drinking tea as they continue to watch the two.

After everyone finished getting their classes the Principal walked back onto the stage and spoke a few words of encouragement before speaking about getting ready for the academy exam.

"Now a teacher will take you to other areas depending on your class, Life occupations will go to study under a teacher of there class. Combat and Support classes will be taken over to low level area to get you all started."

"From there you can continue to join the open class to level or do other arrangements to level up, I'm sure I don't have to explain everything too you all."

A teacher lead their different students to a bus to take them to different destinations.

The support and combat classes were to be taken out of the city, so Victor and Michael followed the teacher over to the bus before they all left in the direction of our of the city...
