Sebastian Thorne

A man ran, his short black hair bouncing up and down covering his clear mysterious blue eyes as they glowed. Mana in the form of lighting covered his tall well-built body. He was using a 6-star elemental movement skill called 'Thunder Flash'.

Short breaths escaped his mouth as he sprinted from the ruined city with a pack of Hellhounds trailing closely behind him.

Hellhounds are a type of elemental wolf-based monster that has a fire attribute. Hellhounds, like most wolf-based monsters, travel in packs with the strongest one being the leader of the pack. However, unlike most other wolf-based monsters, they are very hostile and prioritize killing and hunting their opponents over even protecting their own pack. They aren't very smart either. They would charge recklessly at their opponent and would frequently get into fights with their own packmates in the midst of the fight. Of course, like many other monsters, they could be tamed and controlled by humans and even other monsters.

"Grrrrr! Arf Arf!" Their aggressive barking loudly sounded behind him.

'Shit! Shit! Shit!' He thought, sweat dripping down his face. His strength was quickly draining. He was now reaching his limit. Usually, he would be able to kill a pack of hellhounds on his own pretty easily. But now he was being forced to helplessly run away from them all due to a type of poison that was especially annoying that was so gracefully given to him by his former underlings that betrayed him.

Naturally, as an A-rank Dark Paladin, his pride was very hurt.

He continued to run, although at a far slower pace, hoping to at least find somewhere to rest, even if only for a little while so he could replenish even just a little of his mana. His mana reserves were almost completely depleted and the hellhounds were right on his tail.

"Get out of the way!" A young yet dominant-sounding voice called out to him in the distance, causing him to subconsciously shift to the side.

Suddenly, the blurry image of someone flashed past him. At least that's what he assumed, it moved so fast that he, an A-rank Auror who specialized in speed, was unable to make it out completely.

One by one, the hellhounds were being taken out with not even a second to retaliate. Their blood splattered across as they howled in terror and confusion. Amidst all of that, the man could do nothing but watch in awe as the massacre continued.

"Wow...this is...amazing."

Once the last hellhound fell, the blurry image was finally visible.

"And that's the last one...so boring..." He said in an almost annoyed-sounding voice.

He was a teenage boy, probably around 15 or 16, with long messy and dirty black hair that covered one of his eyes, the other was a dark crimson red. A long cross scar was painfully etched on his face and neck and gave him an intimidating, almost scary, look. He was tall and seemed quite muscular although he was kind of thin. His clothes were all torn and shaggy.

The boy turned to him and spoke "You...are you ok?" A cold expression on his face as he wiped off the blood that was staining it.

Snapping out of his daze, the man responded politely "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for the help, sir."

"My Name is Sebastian Thorne." Hearing Sebastian's name, the boy twitched. Sebastian noticed and chuckled lightly to himself.

Sebastian Thorne is the third son of Cedric Thorne, an S-Rank Auror and current head of the Steel Hawk guild, and now the only heir to the guild after the mysterious deaths of all his other siblings. That wasn't his only persona nor his only position it was one that everyone in the public knew him by.

Although, that wasn't the true reason the boy flinched but Sebastian would never be able to guess that.

Sebastian wasn't sure if this boy was from some secret Auror organization but he still didn't want to let his guard down.

"So-" He continued "What's the name of my saviour?"

"I don't have one." The boy said lightly.

"H-huh?"
