Building Hope-Part 1
That night, after announcing to the pack that Whisper and Ghost would be the delta pair, Winter and Phoenix were playing chess in their room when somebody knocked on the door. Winter was wearing a simple summer dress, Phoenix was in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.
“Come in.” Phoenix called. Slowly, cautiously, the door opened and the male Haloing they had rescued walked in. “Hello. Glad to see you up and around. Come in, tell us your name and let us know what we can do for you.”
“My wolf says his name is Nightshade, Healinggem told me I could take that name to. I guess you can call me that, I do like the name.” Was the quiet reply, his voice was deep but soft.
“Well, Nightshade, what can we do for you?” Phoenix asked, watching as Nightshade sat down in one of the soft chairs.
