The kidnapper

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, Jane and Alice are chilling in the backyard. "Pass me the ketchup, Alice"said Jane. "Sure, sis."Jane replied while passing the ketchup. Their mom was upstairs getting ready for the day. "Yum! You went all out with the breakfast, Alice!"Jane complimented. Alice thanked Jane.

"Good morning, girls!"said Sophie. "Morning, mom!"replied Jane and Alice. Sophie went to their backyard and ate breakfast. "Today's breakfast is extremely delicious!"said Sophie. "Thanks, mom."thanked Alice. After breakfast, they went back inside and watched some movie. A breaking news interrupted their movie. "Breaking news, fairies! We have a kidnapper in our village! For safety, everyone MUST stay in their mushroom! DO NOT GO OUTSIDE. Make sure to be in groups and never be alone! It was seen wearing black outfit and a hat with the word "spy". Please beware, fairies! Alexa, signing off!"said Alexa, the news reporter.

They were so worried that the kidnapper will kidnap one of them so they stayed in a group and promised each other they won't go anywhere alone. "Let's hope nothing happens…."said Sophie nervously. Alice and Jane went upstairs to get changed and when they were done, they heard their mom screaming! "AHHHHHHHH, HELPPP!!!"Sophie shouted. They quickly went downstairs and when they were there, they couldn't find their mom. "This is so weird…I thought kidnappers kidnap kids and not adult…"said Jane. "Yeah….but we still need to find out where they took our mom!"said Alice worriedly. They started thinking of an idea to save their mom.

"I got nothing…what about you, sis?"said Alice. "Same…"Jane said. They didn't have a plan to save their mom. They thought they would loose their mom until…."Why don't we call the police? It's literally what we should have done in the first place!"said Jane. "Oh yeah, forgot about that."said Alice. They quickly called the police and told them about it.

"Ring, ring, ring"their doorbell rang. "That should be the police, I will get it"said Alice walking towards the door. Alice opened the door and saw two police officers standing there. She invited them in and they asked her a few question. "Now, last question, did you see the kidnapper?"asked the police. "No, when we came down she was already gone!"said Alice. The two police officers took down some note and asked Jane and Alice if they have any friends that they could stay with for the moment. "Yes, but she lives in Mountain Topia…her name is Lily."said Jane. "Hmmm, we could bring you there. As long as you girls are not alone."said one of the police. Jane and Alice wanted to meet Lily so they accepted the police's offer. The police officers asked them to pack their stuff and go to their Pegasus. Then, they flew to Mountain Topia.

"We are here! Hop off!"said the police. They hopped off and thanked the police for the ride. "Let's go to Lily's house before anything happen"said Alice. They walked to Lily's house and rang the doorbell. Lily opened the door and was so happy to see them again. "Oh my gosh! Jane and Alice! I'm so happy to see you guys again! But where is your mom?"asked Lily. "Hi, Lily. Our mom was kidnapped…..and the police are trying to find her now. So we will be staying at your place. Is that okay?"asked Jane. Lily and her mom let them stay at their place and brought them to the guest room.

"Wow, this place is amazing! I never knew your house is so nice, Lily."said Alice. "Thanks, Alice. Make yourselves at home! My mom will be making Turkey for lunch."said Lily. They started unpacking and explored the house. "Woah, they have a basement too!"said Jane. "Really? Cool!"replied Alice. Lily's mom interrupted them and told them that the basement is filled with Lily's presents and it's very squeaky there so it will be better if they don't go in there. "Oh ok!"said Alice and Jane.

Time passed and it's lunch time. "Come down, girls! Lunch is ready!"shouted Lily's mom. They quickly went downstairs and ate lunch. "Yum! Lunch was delicious Lily's mom ma'am."said Alice. "Thanks, Alice and you girls can call me Mrs Emma."said Lily's mom. "Okay, Mrs Emma."ZAlice replied. Then, they went back upstairs and played some board games. "Yes! I won!!! Woohoooooo!!!!!"shouted Jane happily. "Good game, you guys. Why don't we play hide and seek?"asked Lily. They all agreed to play hide and seek. Jane was the seeker and the others were the hiders. Alice went to hide below the dining table and Lily hid in her bedroom closet.

"Found you!"shouted Jane. They played many rounds and started to get tired of it. "Why don't we just sit down and watch NatureTube?"asked Alice. "Sure!"said Lily and Jane. They started watching NatureTube and can't seem to stop. "Bang!" They heard a loud sound! They went to see what was going on. When they were looking in Lily's bedroom, they heard someone flying behind them. They looked behind and BAM! They were inside a huge box!
