The Multiverse Traveller

*WARNING* *WARNING* Firstly let me get this out of the way. I've already dropped 2 other fanfictions so please don't expect much. If people who have read my other works read this as well, I am deeply sorry if I drop this cause it shows I haven't learned my lesson. Apart from that, there will be no/NADA/ZERO R-18 nor Harem content in this novel there is already enough of that on this site so I don't think you need it again. Apart from that for now I am stockpiling chapters so release rate won't be regular. BE WARNED. Every 5 billion years a tournament was held, a tournament to bring rise to a Great God. The existence of such a being could bring a race to prosperity while the loss of one could bring it to its knees. Humanity had been losing for many many many years. This was already their 629th loss when they picked Jin, the man who would be their champion who they put all their hopes on. "I may die at the Grand Races Tournament but before that, I'll try my hardest, not just for myself but for all of humanity." That was his resolution that led him to the top.

Chapter 35 The Gambling Den

The Next Day

"So, we finally found him?" Kai asked as he looked towards the gambling den in front of him. "Ya, and good job training those Yakuza by the way, at least now they won't destroy shit by mistake." Jin said as he looked at the entrance.

'Damn, after training them we had them look for Rayleigh for hours before they could find him, like what the fuck? Why doesn't he wear a name tag or something?' Jin thought with some annoyance but then thought that'd be a bit stupid considering he was the Pirate King's right hand man.

"Creak!"

The door swung open as Jin, Kai and Izuku entered the gambling house. Immediately everyone looked at them. "Tch, what's your problem?" Kai said as he looked at them with annoyance. "Who do you think you are!?" A gambler said as he got up getting ready to fight Kai.

"Whoever we are doesn't matter, now unless you want to die, I suggest you retreat." Jin said as he walked forward and past the man. "Izuku follow me, you can handle this as you see fit Kai." Jin continued as he locked eyes with an old man.

He wore round glasses and had long white hair, his facial hair was embattled along his lower jaw, and he had a long scar across his right eye. This man, was the Dark King Silvers Rayleigh, right hand man of the Pirate King Gol D.Roger.

"Eh, is this the man we're looking for?" Izuku whispered to Jin. Hearing this Jin nodded. The old man though, soon disregarded the two as he went back to gambling. "What do you kids want?" The people at the table asked.

"Oh we're going to gamble, that is, if you don't mind." Jin said as he grabbed a chair. "So which one of you is going to gamble, you?" One of them asked. "No, him." Jin said as he pointed to the approaching Kai. Currently he was putting his gloves back on his hands, as the man who had provoked them stood there in shock.

"This better be worth it." Kai said as he took a seat, currently there were 5 people at the table including Kai and Rayleigh. "So what game are we playing?" Kai asked them. "Poker." One of them said as they gazed at Kai.

"So, what do we call you?" One of them asked. "Kai, Kai Chisaki." He said as he slid one of his gloves off. "Weird name, but that's none of our concern, let's begin." The one who had previously asked stated.

An hour later

All the gamblers apart from Kai looked like they were about to die, of depression. 'How did he win everytime.' They thought as they looked at him. As far as they could see he wasn't cheating, and even the drunk Rayleigh was confused.

At the side Jin was chuckling madly. 'Naturally as a mob boss he'd know how to play, and not only that but he can just Overhaul the cards into what he wants.' Jin thought as it was predetermined that they'd lose before they'd even begin.

"H-How did you win? You must be cheating!" Rayleigh said as he pointed furiously at Kai. "Tch-" Kai tried to respond before Jin intervened. "You 3 leave, I need to speak with this old man." Jin said as he waved them off.

"Why shoul-" They tried to ask before Jin chucked money towards them. "Here take it and leave." He said before focusing on Rayleigh again. "What do you want?" Rayleigh asked as he looked at them. "And where's my money!?" He continued furiously.

"Wait, wait, we'll give you money but first, I'd like to give you a proposal, Dark King Rayleigh." Jin said as his voice lowered near the end. Immediately Rayleigh's eyes turned sharp as he gazed at the trio.

"How do you know that name?" He asked as he sounded like he immediately sobered up. "Don't worry we're not part of the marines, and I don't want to black mail you either, I just want you to train us." Jin explained as he took a seat.

"What do you mean train?" Rayleigh asked curiously. "I want you to train the 3 of us in the basics of Kenbunshoku, and Busoshuko haki, in exchange I'll inform you of somethings, and give you some money. Also I can do something for you, if you want, but that'll come later." Jin explained.

"Hmm, how much money we talking, and what information?" Rayleigh asked. Hearing this Jin got up and went close to Rayleigh's ear. "Within this month, Edward Newgate, and Fire Fist Ace will die." Jin whispered as Rayleigh's eyes widened.

Soon though he began to chuckle. "PFF, you must be crazy to think that, or am I dreaming right now?" Rayleigh said as he began to laugh. "Well you don't need to believe me but I assure you that's the truth." Jin said.

"Man, if you wanted to scam me next time pick a more believable lie." Rayleigh said as he teared up a bit. "Fine, don't believe me, but here, I'll pay you to teach the 3 of us haki, so can you?" Jin asked.

"Hmm, sure, just depends how much you're paying me though." Rayleigh said as Jin tossed a bag towards him. Immediately Rayleigh looked inside before smiling. "This is mine now, you can leave." Rayleigh said as he pocketed the money.

"Old man, do you think we're that easy?" Kai said as he began to take off his gloves, when suddenly Rayleigh appeared in front of his face, frightening Kai. "I think I am sobering up a bit now, I remember you now, Crow face you're part of the Yakuza or whatever. You must think you're hot shit." Rayleigh said as he gazed at Kai's eyes.

Soon the people in the gambling den began to look at them.

"A fight's about to start."

"This might be fun."

"Nah look at that, an old man against a 20 something year old, this won't be a contest."

The crowd said one after another as they gazed at them. "Check mate." Kai said as he took off his glove and went to touch Rayleigh.

"Thud."

A sound of flesh hitting metal resounded as Kai looked on in shock. 'Why isn't my quirk working.' He thought as he retreated and Overhauled himself. "I see a paramecia." Rayleigh said as he chuckled a bit.

'So haki interferes with quirk abilities as well?' Jin thought in some surprise. "Enough, old man. You wanna fight?" Jin said as he gazed at Rayleigh. 'I had already inspected him, his Threat Level is only at about Stage 3 Low, I expected his to be higher, but then again he did struggle when fighting Kizaru.' Jin thought as he got ready to fight.

Jin at this point had looked over the Stages, and estimated that he was about Stage 3 Low, so he knew if he fought Rayleigh it'd be a tough fight. 'Then again, I have hax.' Jin thought as he smirked.

Soon though his thoughts were stopped in their tracks. "Nah I don't want to fight, if you can impress me I'll take you up on your offer, if you can't then this money is mine." Rayleigh said.

"What do you mean by that?" Kai said as he put his glove back on. "Hmm, if you can make me go serious, then you've impressed me." Rayleigh said. "Then let's go somewhere more secluded." Jin suggested as Izuku and Kai nodded.

'I don't know how strong this guy is, but to nullify Kai's ability, he must be ridiculous.' Izuku thought as they left the gambling den.

The crowd still inside were now laughing their socks off, as they left. "PFF, who do they think they are? Admirals? Yonko?" Someone in the crowd said as they found the sight of them discussing their fight ridiculous.

Soon after the group of 4 found a secluded place is Sabaody. The mangroves stood tall and the bubbles flew into the sky. "Now, all 3 of you come at me at once if I go serious you win, and I'll teach you, if not then all this money is mine." Rayleigh said as he took a swig of alchohol.

"Tch, like all 3 of us will need to fight, Jin is sufficient to beat you." Kai said as he shook his head. "Hahaha, how can you be so sure?" Rayleigh asked. "Well, assuming his information is accurate, then he's admiral level, and considering you're an unknown old man, you're definitely weaker." Kai said nonchalantly before overhauling the ground to make himself a chair.

"PFFFF, you youngsters these days sure are arrogant." Rayleigh broke out in laughter again as he clutched his stomach. After calming down a bit Rayleigh gazed at Jin. "So you brought them here to train with me, and they don't know who I am?" Rayleigh asked before stretching a bit.

"Does it matter, Dark King." Jin said before taking off his hood. "Let's see how strong you are, Right Hand man of Gol D. Roger!" Jin said as his gaze turned cold.

Oh, no cliff kun! Well anyway, I doubt anyone is still reading my book, but I released a new chapter. Ya my fault yet again, I should be called "HiatusKing" or something or "IrregularReleaseKing" with how bad my release rate is. Honestly there's no excuse, I was lazy, but today's a holiday and now we have the weekend, so I think my chapter rate will probably (hopefully) increase. I am thankful though if you comment and as I've said before, although I appreciate power stones, I am telling you, you shouldn't spend them on my book, it's probably not worth it.

Besides that I hope you enjoyed the chapter, and till next time, bye!
