Stage 36: The League of Assassins

"How?! I thought I killed you?!", the man in black appallingly questioned.

 "Phoenixes are immortal.", Wu Gaijin confidently replied.

"Gaijin, you're back!", John exclaimed in relief.

"Of course I'm back. By the way, I've caught the guy.", Wu Gaijin proudly blared.

"Good… Let's get that asshole to Ashmount and confess his crimes.", Sin happily declared.

"*Maniacally Laughing*", the man in black crazily laughed.

"You fools! Catching me will be the last thing you'll ever do!", the man in black arrogantly snarled as he disappeared.

"Fuck! He's also clone!", Sin belligerently grumbled.

"Search the area, he might be around here somewhere.", Yorazaki commanded as Sin activated his [Skill: Lv. 1 Supreme Search] and inspected the entire city, but he didn't find the criminal.

Meanwhile…

—At the slums; In Mumbai, India…

  The man in black showed up in the slums since his group's base was located there. They're called The League of Assassins composing of 6 members that were hired by Aldrich Simon. 

"How did it go, Rudra?", Shahbaz curiously inquired.

  Shahbaz Khorazan, the leader of the league, and a middle aged man from Afghanistan.

"They took the bait in Jakarta, sir. The children were surprisingly strong. There was even a child that has the same ability as I.", Rudra politely answered.

  Rudra Jhaveri, also known as the man in black, an adolescent Indian who's working for Shahbaz and is a member of the league.

"Just like Mr. Simon said… I might soon bring out the big guns.", Shahbaz meticulously said to himself.

"ISAR!", Shahbaz deafeningly called as a Saudi Arabian woman appeared from the shadows.

"Yes, sir.", Isar seriously replied.

"You go deal with Tristan Moon's Shadow Soldiers while the others kill the Sentinels one by one.", Shahbaz commanded in bloodlust.

"As you wish, great leader.", Isar emotionlessly responded.

"(Mr. Simon paid me huge amounts of money, I can't let this opportunity go to waste. He might even give us a raise.)", Shahbaz greedily imagined.

2 days later; May 15, 2006…

—In Ashmount Asylum, North Atlantic Ocean…

  Tristan Moon finally released Yorazaki's father, Ikehara Hajime, from Ashmount Asylum. Tristan apologized for the Hajime's late release due to his piling paper work from the past months. His wife, Tano Mayumi, immediately wrapped her arms on her husband's body and dearly hugged him. Yorzaki also introduced her boyfriend to her father. At first, Hajime was surprised and suspicious of Sin, but as minutes went by, they both got along together.

6 hours later…

—At the de los Muerte Mansion; In Manila, Philippines…

  Sin introduced Yorazaki to his family. His mother's reaction was full of joy and his father was proud of him. They later celebrated it with a delicious dinner made by Sin's mother.

Meanwhile…

—At a secret laboratory; In Ankara, Turkey…

  Aldrich Simon is currently torturing Kane Kester by extracting his energy from him.

"*Painfully Screaming*", Kane screamed in agony as the human sized Energy Capsules are being filled up.

"(Amazing! Kane Kester's energy is as powerful as Nuclear Energy! No, it's more powerful than that!)", Aldrich thought in amusement as sparks of immense energy emitted out of Kane's body.

  Once all of the Energy Capsules were 100%, Simon turned off the Energy Extracting Chamber.

"Thank you for your cooperation Mr. Kester. Your stored energy in your body will help me power up my Doomsday Device.", Aldrich gratefully appreciated.

"You won't get away with this! My colleagues will eventually find me!", Kane tiredly snarled.

"I'm afraid they will not, Mr. Kester. My laboratory can block Search type abilities, radio signals, and satellite signals. You can't escape here.", Kane relaxedly explained as Project Cyborg began transferring the Energy Capsules to a different location.

"In the end, you're a hopeless cause. Once every super human loses their powers, everyone will blame you and deny your existence.", Aldrich noxiously taunted as he grinned.

1 week later; May 22, 2006…

—At the top of Mount Everest; In Nepal/Tibet, China…

  Sin still haven't found Kane Kester even though he travelled all over the globe. Little by little, he's beginning to lose confidence in his Search ability.

"THIS IS HOPELESS!", Sin yelled in fury.

"Sign, is my Search ability really working?! I've already circled the globe a hundred times by now!", Sin furiously asked as Sign took a check at the Ability System if there's a glitch.

"It seems to be working properly.", Sign calmly replied.

"The enemy must be using some sort of device that blocks your Search ability.", Sign solemnly guessed.

"Is there any way to find Kane?", Sin gloomily questioned.

"*Sigh*. Sadly, I don't have any solution to your problem.", Sign depressingly responded.

"But… If the man in black was an assassin hired by Simon, you can find his location through him.", Sign inspiringly planned.

"That's a great idea!", Sin enthusiastically complimented.

"(However, catching him will be difficult. He can make his clones disappear at will. I have little probability of finding the real body. Despite that, I still have to try.)", Sin seriously pondered.

Meanwhile…

—In Tallinn, Estonia…

  Hell Blaze Sentinel Company are currently fighting a gigantic Hydra that's rampaging in the city.

"Remember, don't cut off its heads! It will only make more of it!", John staidly commanded as Maxim charged to the Hydra's legs.

   Maxim then activated his Level 8.6 Tactile Telekinesis and touched the Hydra's foot. Now that he had direct contact with the monster, he can make the Hydra up float in the air to avoid any unnecessary destruction on the ground.

"Lara, is the lockdown ready?", John composedly inquired.

"I need a few more minutes to fix it. The Monster Lockdown device is still bugging out. Buy me some more time.", Lara humorlessly replied.

"Patrick, Julie, let's distract the heads!", John stoically ordered as he flew up in the sky.

  Julienne activated her Level 8.3 Teleportation and Patrick activated his 8.5 Skin Hardening. They then swiftly followed John by teleporting on top of the Hydra's heads.

"YO PUG FACE! OVER HERE!", Patrick deafeningly insulted as he blinded one of the Hydra heads.

"*Agonizingly Roared*", the Hydra roared in distress as John followed it up with beams of fire.

  In rage, the Hydra spat out flames from its numerous mouths, but to its surprise John threw the flame breaths back at the monster.

"Lara! Is the lockdown done?!", Maxim impatiently asked.

"I'm getting tired lifting the big guy over here!", Maxim exhaustedly grumbled.

"Just wait a minute, you impatient idiot! It's almost ready!", Lara belligerently replied as she finished her device.

  She then placed it on the ground as a ray of light shot through the sky, creating a 500 meter radius barrier. In just 5 seconds, the Monster Lockdown device disintegrated the Hydra into ashes. Not only that, all of the monsters inside the barrier were also pulverized to dust.

"Area clear!", Lara proudly proclaimed as the Monster Lockdown device automatically turned off.

  At the same time, Julienne closed the Monster Portal with her Monster Portal Gun.

"Good job, team. Now our mission is complete.", John joyfully commended as a large dark figure rose up from behind.

"John, look out!", Patrick warned in panic as he used his body to shield John from the tail whip attack.

  Both of them were flung away. Luckily, they weren't injured. However, the dark figure was the Hydra's shadow, the being that was born after the Hydra's death.

"The Hydra! It's still alive?!", Lara exclaimed in shock.

"No… It was resurrected.", Maxim anxiously corrected as the Shadow Hydra began its rampage once more.

  The team began dodging its attacks, but the Hydra was more smarter than before. It knew where Julienne will pop out as if its reading the future. With a bash of its tail, Julienne was crushed to near death.

"You bastard!", Maxim cursed in anger as he placed his hands on the ground and began throwing large hunk of rocks with his Tactile Telekinesis.

  Unfortunately, Maxim's attacks only pass through the Shadow Hydra since its physical body is long gone.

"HEY ASSHOLE! YOU'VE MESS WITH THE WRONG TEAM!", John shouted in rage as he quickly flew towards the Shadow Hydra and blasted a serious wave of fire.

  Unfortunately, the Shadow Hydra skillfully dodged all of the fire blasts despite its enormous body.

"(How can it evade my flames?! Did it became more flexible when it became a shadow?!)", John appallingly thought as the Shadow Hydra bashed its head towards John's body and swatted him like a fly.

  John was shot away like a bullet and crashed through several buildings. Bleeding from all sides, John was severely injured from the attack.

"JOHN!", Maxim worriedly shouted as the Shadow Hydra tried to kill him with a stomp while he's distracted.

"MAX! WATCH OUT!", Patrick alertly yelled as he threw his body to save Maxim.

  Patrick exchanged his body with Maxim's and took on the heavy stomp. Luckily, Patrick survived the brute descent and became senseless from the immense pressure. At just the right time, John activated his ultimate form. He hastily transformed his body into scorching flames and flew towards the enemy.
