Syntax, an ordinary young adult, is transported to an Anarchic World of Xelion where he will have to conquer the lands of his enemies with the combined knowledge of Earth's technology. While also leading armies from the stone age to the modern age. I will try to upload one chapter per day and two chapters on weekends but it really depends on real life The book cover is only proof of concept for new readers to understand where this is heading. I hope that someday someone who can actually make covers can do it but it will do for now. I do not own any of these images.

Chapter 1The Beginning

"Syntax! How did you manage to do that?" a voice which was filled with shock shouted through my headphones as I dropped atomic bombs on his army in the famous World War 2 game called Hearts of Gold.

"It's easy, Arc." I said with a smirk as I looked at my screen where I could see the millions of casualties on both sides, "While you prioritize the safety of your civilians, I use them to their greatest potential and that is why I always win Arc." I said as I saw as my remaining Armored Divisions punched through Arc's weakened lines from the blast and watched as his front line disintegrated with the support from my Mechanized Divisions.

"Jeez, Syntax." Arc finally spoke after a minute of silence, "You may be one of the best players in Hearts of Gold, but you are just cruel." I laughed at his innocence and shook my head. "You are just too innocent, Arc."

I spoke with a serious tone this time. "You are still 16 years old, enjoy the world while you can because it will eventually shit on you." "You sound like my dad." Arc said, laughing, "Maybe you finally got a girlfriend, Syntax?"

My facial tone changed as I looked directly at his profile picture and said my final words to him as I pressed on the disconnect button. "Fuck off, Midget."

I stood up from my workstation and made my way to the fridge while scratching my back. I opened it and found nothing edible. I sighed as I closed the refrigerator and looked out the window where I could see people of all kinds of ages laughing and enjoying the beautiful weather while parents are holding their children and laughing along the way.

"This type of life is best," I said as I held my chin with my arm and nodded. I didn't have any life goals and just enjoyed the quiet life, playing video games and reading manga once in a while and working at a grocery store.

I enjoyed History though, and while I struggled with literally every other subject, I soaked up everything when it came to History. I could remember the facts and the years while I struggled with algebra and grammar.

I looked back at my workstation which had the newest Triforce 3080 and a Xeo Processor and smiled at my little precious. At the same time, it was overkill for the games I play, which are mostly classic and Strategy games like Hearts of Gold. I still loved my station as everything that I bought came from my own wallet. My parents couldn't say anything about it.

My parents were lovely people until it came to school where they changed, the family was conservative on school and education as it would damage the families "Reputation" if someone didn't enrol in a prestigious university which I didn't as History was the only subject where I got a B or above. Which meant that I was kicked out from my home and now live in this small apartment in the cities suburbs

I sighed as I took out a cigarette from my pocket and lighted it with my lighter I got from my grandfather, I inhaled the smoke and exhaled it through my nose, I have these thoughts about my parents and family every day and a smoke helps me relax.

I decided to take a walk and get some fresh air as the next session of Hearts Of Gold will start in an hour.

I unlocked my apartment door with my rusty key and stepped outside and looked at the numerous similar apartment doors in the corridor. It was a shitty place with rust and filth. I locked my door and walked down the stairs as the elevator was always out of commission.

I exited the apartment building, and just as I was about to throw the cigarette, I saw him—a man in a black suit holding a silenced Beretta 92 pointing right at my face. I looked around and saw that others around me were shocked as well, but that didn't last long as the shock turned to screams as I felt blood drip between my eyebrows from a hole in my forehead. It wasn't long until I fell down on my back and lost all feeling in my body.

It was weird, I could have jumped to the side or ducked down, but the only thing I thought about was the model of the gun and that it was silenced. Something is really wrong with me.
