The Clash

"What is this?! That's just a child! Put down your weapons!" Shuri demands.

"Your Higness, your brother has informed us to detain this person, under the words of Avengers that have arrive to take him away!" Okay so it was faster than I thought.

"What? That's just a kid-"

"Let them come." I turn around with my mask on and smirk, "I wasn't expecting Avengers to come after me. Has S.H.I.E.L.D run out of ideas and decide to use superheroes now to get me? Guess word travels fast about my work."

Now, I took out my gun from my jacket and point at Shuri,

"Do you really want to fight me?"

As the Avengers walk out of the quinjet, to talk to T'Challa an explosion stopped everyone causing them to look around to find where it came from. More explosions sprouts, sending people into fear and run away from the sudden attack.

"My people!"

"T'Challa!"

Captain America was the first to run to his friend and look out to the city. Smoke was rising from the rubble and one more explosion went off near the Medical Ward.

"Shuri!!" T'Challa yells in despair.

"Let's head there now. That might be where Shogun is at." says Tony. "Banner, you wanna join?"

The shifter shakes his head, "I'll go help the people who are hurt."

Iron Man nods and looks towards T'Challa in his Black Panther suit. "Then let's get to it!"

Ant-Man fell unconscious as the last man standing in the fight against Shogun.

"This kingdom being the best protection out of everything in the entire world. Yet I was able to place bombs in the kingdom without being spotted. I think I'm getting better at this." Shogun laughs as he steps over some bodies and to the computer. He starts typing and finds the info on the blueprints of the weapon Shuri is working on. "This can work ..."

"Why are you doing this?" A voice stops Shogun from deleting the files since his own invention has now taken all the info. He glances back to see Shuri still awake, bruised and bleeding from her head, mouth and arms.

"There's no need for you to do this."

"You are right, Shuri. But this is what I was taught to do. Living a normal life nowadays is too boring. Especially in a place like this." Shogun says. Shuri only looks puzzled and stares at the young man.

"We can help you. If you just-" Shuri was cut off by a blast behind her and covers her head. She looks behind her and back at Shogun only to gasp and see the weapon she's been making right in front of her face. Claws centimeters away from her face close to touching the skin.

"There's a reason why I do this. And as well why I don't trust humans. They lie, they deceive, they leave you to die Maybe that's what you're brother is doing right now" Shogun says calmly.

"My brother would never-"

"Are you sure? Cause I can kill you right now or hold you hostage and he can just go and save himself and leave you behind. I've seen families attack each other, even to the point of killing. What makes your family different?" Shogun questions.

"You have heard what happen to the Avengers, haven't you? They broke apart and fought each other to death. Even bringing your brother along. He could've died with your-"

"That's enough, Shogun!" Shogun puts his left hand down and turns around slowly to see Black Panther and Captain America standing next to each other.

"Shuri!"

"T'Challa!"

"Where is Ant-Man?!" Black Panther demanded. Shogun points with his thumb behind him for the duo to see the man unconscious and mask broken.

"I was able to disable his belt before he can shrink and use that as an advantage. Not much of a fighter if you ask me." He shrugs nonchalantly.

Captain America steps up and says sternly, "Shogun, you are to come with us and take you to S.H.I.E.L.D-"

"Ugh this again!" Shogun cuts him off mid sentence.

"Has it ever occur to you that there are more people like me out there? No offense Flag Boy but I'm nothing special so..." He turns to walk away, "I will be on my way."

On instinct, Shogun catches the incoming shield with his left hand that has the prototype weapon. This made both heroes and Shuri look in shock. Only one person has ever stopped Captain's shield and seeing another is astonishing.

Shogun throws it to Black Panther and he is sent flying back by the force as the thrower takes off before pressing a button.

"Go after him!" Shuri tells his brother.

"But Shuri..."

"Help her."

Captain and Panther glance at each other and nodded. Running after the mercenary before he can do more damage. "Guys, how is it out there?" Captain spoke into the earpiece.

"This kid did some damage! I don't know how he did it but some buildings and the palace are just rubble." Tony shouts.

"We have some people hurt but so far no deaths." Banner added. "Is your sister okay?"

"She is. Shogun took down Ant-Man and took off. We are going after him."

Shogun takes out a small metallic round item and clicks a button to show a map of the building he's in.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to break through." Shogun changes ammo from his gun and shoots the ground leaving a big hole. "Adios!"

He yells and jumps down, shooting the floor to continue falling. The heroes stop and jump down to follow the mercenary. Once they made it, they realize they were in the Vibranium mine.

"He's taking Vibranium!" T'Challa said angrily.

"Then let's-"

Captain takes a step and looks down to see a string. "Hey, did you guys place traps-"

The men were struck from the top and lay flat on the ground with something preventing them from moving. Laughter echoes through the tunnel until they heard footsteps coming close.

"Oh man you guys seriously walked through that. I thought cats were suppose to have night visions!" Shogun looks at his trap with a smile.

His trap is a metal net with eight metallic balls attached to them. Black Panther tried to scratch it and take it off but couldn't. Even Captain America was having trouble lifting it.

"Don't bother. The metal I used for this trap is Tungsten, platinum, osmium, titanium and chromium. Using hard and strong metals. All I'm missing is Vibranium." Shogun explains.

"How does someone like you have all those metals? They are the rarest to find." Black Panther hissed.

"Mercenary's secret." was all Shogun said and he brings out a bag from thin air from the heroes point of view. He then begins collecting Vibranium and picks them out with his left metal hand. Picking up one metal, he places his hand on it and pulls it out as if it was nothing.

Shogun continues while chuckling to see the men struggling.

"Why are you doing this?" Once again Shogun stops picking and glances to Captain America. He continues and ignores the question.

"You could have killed my people! My sister!"

"They're alive. Relax, Black Cat."

"I am the Black Panther."

"Right, Black Cat." Shogun repeats himself which made the person annoyed. "Hey, you and Flag Boy should be happy I didn't kill anyone. It's not my thing to kill innocents anyways. That's his job." Shogun says pointing to Captain America.

"I help people-"

"And so do I. In certain terms. So if anything-" another piece of Vibranium was pulled out of the wall with ease.

"I'm not the enemy."

Shogun threw the bag to the ground and it disappeared and he brings out another to continue the same process. Rumbling shook the mine as dust and small rocks fell to the ground.

"Looks like my job here is done."

"What was that rumbling?" Captain America mumbles.

"While fighting, I sent one of my drones to deliver a 'package' to that person who hired me," He replies.

Both men widen their eyes in shock and anger, "You just killed a S.H.I.E.L.D Agent!"

"Oh .... " Shogun stops what he was doing and shrugs as if it was nothing, "Well that's life for you. Not the first time I killed them anyways so .... "

Before anymore worlds can be said, an explosion blew off the wall where Shogun finished picking the Vibranium he needed. He walks calmly to the edge and stores the two bags of the metal into his device where it will be kept safe.

"I'm pretty sure you are surprised by the info, Flag Boy. But know this," He turns slowly and glares at the trapped men with his eye,

"I never play by the rules." With that he jumps out.
