Entry 5 - Seer

I stayed in the hospital for two weeks, crushing the doctor's expectations for me to be in bed for at least six months, since my body had not moved for two years. I remember the look on the doctor's face when he found nothing unusual after taking me through a series of tests. Of course they would find nothing even with all the knowledge in the world, after all it didn't come from me but Jesus.

I didn't know exactly what it was but anytime I closed my eyes, I could feel it right there. With every beat of my heart I could feel the lifeforce of God flowing through me like a river. Opening my eyes to a whole new chapter of my life, I'm no more lying helplessly on the bed.

"I have a great future ahead of me!" I said to myself as I got off the bed.

"Mr Tony Storm! Today is the last day I'm going to see you!" The doctor said holding my files as he flipped through it.

"Hehehe!" Chuckling slightly I watched the doctor go through my records and that's when it happened. Everything went dark for a moment and the golden light of the sun was suddenly replaced with an ash-like light. It felt as if I blinked my eyes and saw darkness only to open it and see everywhere in ash light, but the strange thing was my eyes never went closed.

I looked around in confusion, not understanding the phenomenon, "Mr Tony!" I looked back at the doctor as he drew my attention, "you are free to take your leave now! No drinking or smoking! And make sure to live a healthy life Ok!" Without waiting for my response he turned to leave my ward.

"Hey doc! Hey doc!" I kept calling and that was when I noticed something wrong, he wasn't responding. Pulling my door backwards, I left my ward to the hallway as I called out to those around me but they walked past without looking at me as all. I felt like I existed in a different place and time from everyone else.

"Something is definitely wrong!" I said to myself managing not to freak out, suddenly the hallway and everyone vanished as I found myself in front of the hospital facing the car park. "What!" I exclaimed slightly, people were walking in and out of the hospital but no one noticed the young man who suddenly appeared like a ghost.

The jingling of keys and the shuffling of feet caused my attention to shift to the back and I saw the doctor rushing out from the hospital. I tried to call him again but I felt it was useless, my eyes followed him all the way to his car as he entered it. I was about to turn away when he suddenly looked into my eyes, "help me! Mr Tony help!" And then "boom!!!!" His car exploded with him in it.

I was still stuck with his helpless look in my mind when everything returned back to normal, "Mr Tony!" Instantly I snapped out of my reverie with my full attention on the doctor, "you are free to take your leave now! No drinking or smoking! And make sure to live a healthy life Ok!"

Without waiting for me to respond he turned to leave my ward, now the feeling of dejavu was too strong.

I stepped out of my ward into the hallway as I made my way out of the hospital without paying attention to anyone. I paused for a moment as I stood in front of the hospital, facing the car park just like I saw moments ago. People were entering and leaving the hospital not even bothering about me, and then I heard the familiar jingling of keys and the shuffling of feet as I turned back to stare at the doctor rushing from the hospital. "Goodbye Mr Tony!" He said as he walked past me.

"Hey doc!"

"I'm sorry Mr Tony, I'm in a rush now and I have to be somewhere urgently…."

And that's where I cut him off, the aura of death was so strong for me to ignore. "Doc., why don't you take the bus while I wash your car for you?" I asked wanting him to leave his car behind.

"And why would I do that!" He asked, eyeing me suspiciously.

"Doctor! I saw your car explode with you in it…" I started, "you know how my healing was beyond the natural, the same way I see stuff…" I ended with the atmosphere soaked in awkwardness.

"Ring! Ring!" Jenna send a vehicle to come meet me at the hospital, I fear my car has been laced with explosives", the doctor spoke to the person on the other side with no pause at all as he cut the call the moment he finished speaking. "Is this 010, this is doctor Palmer..... yes my car has been laced with explosives.... Right now I'm at the hospital..... ok!"

I breathed a sigh in relief, initially worried he wasn't going to believe me. Ten minutes later, the counter terrorist team arrived and got to work immediately. Guiding everyone away from the car to minimize casualties, they searched the doctor's car and about thirty minutes later they got the explosives, going all counter-terrorist on them.

By then the doctor had already left but I assumed he would get wind of everything that happened. Looking at the hot midday sun I left the hospital already satisfied with this ending. I didn't know what my future would turn out to be but I had faith that it would be spectacular.

"It's a beautiful day,

though it didn't start well,

it's all ending well,....." I hummed to myself as I found my way home, it really ended well.
