They both got up with smiles.

Canary looked so exhausted that he had not seen them.

" You are back ?" Canary only realized after Ketra asked.

" Mom, Granny, You are still awake ?" He asked surprised.

Lucy just walked over to him and gave him a big hug.

" My son, Congs.." She said in delightment.

" Thanks Mom." He said hugging her back.

Ketra joined them in the hug and said. " Congs Canary, You have made us proud."

After they parted from the hug Ketra pushed him towards the dinning table.

" This meal has waited for you for hours. You should eat.." Ketra said.

Canary grinned in disbelief because this was his favorite dish ever.

" Wow.." He sat down and they followed.

" Thank you" He almost cried because of the joy he felt at that moment.

" Hurry, Eat up before it's get cold." Lucy said.

They watched him eat and after Ketra went and brought drinks.

" So, We are drinking for you." Ketra said giving each a glass of wine and raising her's for a toast.

While they gulped down their glasses Canary smiled innery.

' Mom, Dad, Now that I have got an opportunity to prove my ability, I won't disappoint you. I promise you that.'

He made a promise.
