May's two girls had long ago run out of the room to play because May refused to give them any candy.
After Gianna had expressed her intentions very clearly, May was not in any mood of entertaining her.
She didn't think of any politeness as she laid down on the bed and closed her eyes to sleep even though Gianna and Cooper were still present in the room.
Gianna merely smiled as she was already aware of May's behavior. Cooper, however, frowned in disgust as he looked at the fat woman's back lying on the bed.
The woman was very greedy and rude in his eyes.
However, his attention soon went to his wife and he called her out.
"Gianna, why did you…"
Gianna indicated her husband to stay silent and Cooper stopped speaking.
After that, she held his hand and then walked out of the room with him. Before they even stepped outside the room, Evelyn who was hiding behind the wall ran away from there.
