Evelyn Wakes Up
Evelyn didn't wake even after a day they reached Mazic.
Regan couldn't help but feel anxious. He would not leave her side at all. He saw the wound on her forehead, the fingerprints on her cheek, and her torn lips. Regan could see everything in front of his eyes whatever Rafael did to her.
When Dan told her about the bruises on Evelyn's body Regan only felt as if someone had twisted his heart until it knew nothing but to feel pain.
Since she was unconscious it was difficult to feed her. Fortunately, there would be times when her body accepts medicines, water, and food. However, those would be the same times when Regan would have his meals as well.
If Evelyn didn't eat then he would not have anything as well.
It was a night later when inside his chambers, he was standing in front of the window of his room lost in his own thoughts when he heard sounds.
Regan immediately strode towards the bed where Evelyn was lying.
