Ezekiel has been noticing something weird for the past few days, sometimes he would hear Xavier talking to himself, at times yelling in the bathroom.

He felt sorry for his friend, ever since his near death experience, no, his death experience, he had been acting strange and really weird, can he perhaps see ghosts now? did death give him a chance to fulfill his purpose before dying for real this time?

"What?" Xavier asked Ezekiel who was starting at him absentmindedly, with mouth open agape.

"Who are you persuading to leave?" He asked.

"Zavian." Xavier simply said.

"Who's Zavian?"

"Forget it, if I tell, you wouldn't believe me anyway." Xavier said and turned back to the mirror.

"Try me." Ezekiel said, laying on the wooden door and folding his arms.

Xavier sighed, " Listen carefully, cause I am not going to repeat my words."

"Okay,"

"I have an ancient demon named Zavian currently basing in me, he killed my soul for space to reside in my body, I am persuading him to leave, but he kept on threatening me, saying I would die and we're now bonded." Xavier explained, there was an awkward silence between the two that only crickets could be heard chirping until Zeke burst out in laughter, holding his stomach as he laughed hard. Xavier rolled his eyes and walked to the bed leaving Zeke to laugh his intestines out.

"De...demon?" He asked and continued with his laughter.

"Should I kill him?" Zavian asked.

"No! He's my friend!" Xavier replied out loud, Zavian never ceased to surprise him during these past days. it's been hell, Zavian never kept shut, always ranting on and on in his head even when he was asleep and offering to kill anyone who talked rudely to him, including the masters, who also noticed something strange about him.

Zeke stopped laughing and walked to Xavier, he had a mocking look on his face, Xavier knew how Zeke was, and he also knew Zeke will never believe anything without solid proof.

But yet, Zavian was slowly driving him insane and even when he tried not to, he gave in and yell at Zavian, people around would either think he was a psycho or he had gone crazy.

Then again he wondered if Zavian was an imaginary friend he created in his head, but Zavian never failed to prove him wrong.

He believed in hell, but he didn't believe a demon, capable of leaving hell and bonding itself to a human.

His life these days has been so surreal and Ezekiel, mocking him was not helping, he needed space from everyone and everything.

"Could you ask your inner demon how it feels in hell?" Zeke asked in a mocking tone, grinning like a cat.

Xavier stood up, taking slow steps towards Zeke, he had a plan in mind and that was to scare Zeke down to his wits.

"How about he takes you there?" Xavier said with an intimidating gaze and a devilish smirk on his face.

Zeke stepped back as Xavier walked forward, whatever Xavier thought he was doing was not working but Zeke's heart skipped a beat when his pupils changed from blue to blood red and it looked like that of a snakes own.

His breath hitched and without wasting a second he went out the door.

Zavian and Xavier laughed at the speed Zeke used to run out of the room and how his face looked. Xavier fell on the bed and spread out his arms, staring at the ceiling.

"Can you give personal advices? You're an ancient demon so you must be at least good at that." Xavier said.

"I'm well known for my advices, so shoot kid." Zavian said.

"I have been backsliding lately." Xavier said and took a deep breath.

"You're confused, you have two girls your heart beats for, but you're not sure who you love more." Zavian said but there was no response from Xavier.

"Confused?"

"You love Athena, but Emily has been the only girl who made you feel at home in a strange land. I say we f*ck Emily and go back to the love of our life." Zavian said and Xavier jumped out of bed with a red face.

"Do... Don't ever say something like that again!" He said nervously.

"Tsk, tsk, it's a good thing you have me, I'm going to transform you," Zavian said and Xavier could picture him smirking.

After General Sam narrated what happened, to the King, Epirius burst out in laughter.

"You must have hit your head really hard, Samuel." King Epirius laughed, he knew Samuel, and he would never say things like this, unless he was not in his right mind.

His words makes no f*cking sense, which made Epirius think he hallucinated that part, or something.

"So you're telling me, That red haired Is actually a witch, and she awakened?" He asked.

"Yes your majesty." He said.

"And she sent me to tell you. She will bring this kingdom Dow and kill you herself." He said again, Epirius was not meant to believe it, at least he convinced himself he was not going to believe it, but for some reason, Samuel's words were getting to him. He clenched his fists and abruptly stood up.

"Take me to that forest," Epirius said and left the royal diner. throwing his robe behind him.

A few minutes later, King Epirius and the General, accompanied by five other soldiers arrived at the forest entrance.

it took them some time to get to the heart of the forest, where the brawl took place. The trees were broken in halves, the leaves were all dead and the grace was tainted black, as if the forest has been burnt. Samuel stepped aside for the King to see the dead bodies and dried blood scattered on the forest grounds. it was so disgusting seeing the men turn inside out, their intestines and organs spread on the floor with flies and vultures feasting on them.

The king's face remained blank and unreadable, for someone who was laughing like a maniac an hour ago, he didn't seem surprised to see the bodies.

"A girl, a weak slave girl, did this to abled soldiers." Epirius said making a statement rather than asking a question.

"I told you your majesty, she is a witch, I watched her make their weapons fly and turn against them." Samuel narrated.

"Argh!!" ( Slice ) Epirius angrily beheaded a soldier standing near him as the soldier's head dropped and rolled on the floor, followed by the body. He turned away, walking back to the entrance, where they left the horses.

The King was silent all through from the ride back to the palace and even in the palace during the meeting with the dukes and commanders.

"Something is definitely wrong, we have to do something about this." Duke Andronis uttered.

" I say we recuit more soldiers and warriors." Commander Zion said, they turned to the King but he sat still, stroking his beard and staring blankly at the door.

"Your majesty?" Sam called, realizing he hadn't said a word since the meeting began.

"Gather all first born sons around the kingdom, make them soldiers," He simply said and left.
