The Bargain(2)

Lu Kai came down from the bed and ran outside the room.

He saw his grandparents along with some of their close relatives sitting in the living room

Lu Kai and Lu Xinxin hid near the stairs as they listened to their conversations.

"After everything that happened, she still had the guts to come back to the country."

"She must think she has more lives than a cat"

Some of the relatives started voicing out their grievances.

"Cousin Lu...what should we do" An old man probably in his early fifties asked.

"She will have to pay for what she did, obviously. But this matter is not as simple as you are all thinking." Lu Cao said.

"Su Luo is still Lu Shen's wife, therefore she is still a member of this family" Lu Cao.

"I can't make a final decision because I'm not the eldest in this family. Lu Wen is. But if there's something that I am sure of, is that one way or another, Su Luo has to die." Lu Cao said as the people around him agreed.

Suddenly, a military personnel showed up and asked to speak to Lu Cao in private. Lu Cao showed him to the garden while Lu Kai sneakily followed them.

"Sir, you've been requested the President and other high ranking officials in Xander" The official said.

Though he couldn't understand some of the terms they were using, Lu Kai understood one thing, and that was his mother is in Xander. Lu Kai didn't bother to finish listening to their conversation.

He ran upstairs to his room where his sister was eagerly waiting for him.

"Xinxin...do you want to see mom?" Lu Kai asked.

Lu Xinxin have him a big nod.

"Then...we have to go to Xander" Lu Kai said as he face was filled with uncertainty.

Back in Xander, Su Luo was kept in a dark room before she was moved to the interrogation room.

Lu Shen, Li Chen, Du Feng along with some other officials watched Su Luo.

"Sir" Zhou Wen said as he stood in front of Lu Shen.

"Su Luo's medical records are not in our database" Zhou Wen said.

"Why?" Lu Shen asked curiously.

"It turns out that the formal director secretly removed her medical records from our database" Zhou Wen

Lu Shen scoffed. It seems that his uncle were a hundred steps ahead of them. No problem, he'll catch up with him eventually.

"Start the interrogation" Lu Shen said to Zhou Wen who went inside the interrogation room.

Su Luo who was resting her eyesheard the sound of the door opening and slowly opened them.

Zhou Wen sat down on the chair opposite her.

"Do you know who I am?" Zhou Wen asked.

Su Luo looked at him without saying anything.

"I've read your files, most of them actually. They all came to one conclusion."Zhou Wen paused for a moment before he continued.

"You're the best agent Liliang has ever had, till date."
