THIRD PERSON’S POV
Two days later...
In his room at the forest house, Luciano sits in a chair, staring out the window with his back to the door. Maria enters behind him.
Luciano doesn’t move and keeps his emotionless eyes fixed ahead. She walks up to him and stands beside him, and he ignores her.
He tries to move at super speed to the open door but can’t make it through. “You are not going anywhere. Stop all this! You need to do better…. Better than this.”
He shrugs, moves at super speed, and takes back his seat. She speaks as she sits facing him and sips a cup of coffee. He doesn’t say a word.
Instead, he looks at her with murderous eyes. “Or what? Will you compel me to pull my heart out like what you wished for the Blood Moon's pack? I am human now. For the time being, that won’t work on me. Unless I bring you your gun.”
