Chapter Nineteen

They drove around for over thirty minutes before getting to the place. She highlighted, that was when she noticed he was also wearing matching track suits. It seemed like they were obviously couple and it made her cringe. There was other people there, men and women alike; the women obviously there for their men because few played. Jay pulled his stuff from the booth and she followed him, she knew nothing about golf game but was quite curious to know about it. It seemed like fun, trying to get a ball into a hole and she wondered how good he was. People here also respected him although they were obviously big guns in the society, seeing their gait and this made her feel important. "Nice lady you got there Jay ", she halted by his side and turned her attention to the big man he was talking to. There was something dangerous about this man and Bella did not wish to find out, he looked intimidating and did she mention fat. He was huge and fat with protruding belly that made him so scary. He looked well above his forties. A guy carried his stuff which was why Bella turned and for the first time noticed that Jay's body guards had followed them discreetly. The four of them were at strategic position as though they were expecting something of the sort to happy. Jay greeted the man but without passion on his eyes, there seemed to be some sort of power tussle between them both which frightened Bella, this man was dangerous but Jay seemed not to fear him. He was asking Jay to introduce them when Jay made hasty introductions, the man made a move to her side but Jay blocked him, he started with a chuckle, "I just wanted to say hello to the lady buddy", he said exposing garlic brown teeth that had also suffered from cigarettes. "Say hello from where you stand Pablo ", Jay said without emotions, still shielding her. The fat man was laughing again and this was clearly infuriating Jay, he was red with anger and somehow, he looked more scary than the fat guy. "Oh there you are bro ", another guy was heading towards them. By this time, Jay was already white with anger and the air of rivalry between he and the man could be sniffed from any distance. The guy approaching them was definitely Apollo and he seemed to know what was happening between the two as he quickly moved in a started making exchange of pleasantries. And like one who had gotten an antidote, Jay was smiling again. One thing Bella had come to assume was that the fat guy, Pablo was dangerous but Jay was more dangerous. 

This Slim and cute guy she was introduced to was Charlie, he was so sweet with his Spanish accent. Bella found herself crushing on him. He looked like a movie star and model. For some reasons, Jay let him say hello to her, even Bella felt safe with this person. They moved together to the gaming area, the place was huge, Jay found a waitress too. He knew she must be hungry and ordered her hamburger and juice to keep her hunger at bay promising to take her out for dinner. She nodded as she watched him set out his things and soon, she was watching him play from a distance while she munched happily in the shade. Jay was obviously good even though she knew nothing about the game, she could tell. Who exactly was this man, she found herself wondering again. He was driving her crazy.
