Chapter 33: The Boy is Mine

Aurora’s POV

Dillion continued to walk away from me and Faith, but he wasn’t leaving the pack house, he was headed toward Liam. What the hell did he expect to accomplish? If he attacked Liam then that would cost him his life. The pack would charge him with treason or Liam would kill him.

Liam seemed aware of the show surrounding him, but he tried to ignore it as he continued his conversation with Alex. I know he could feel the anger surging from Dillion, but I hope he knew that it was just projected anger. Dillion wasn’t mad at Liam; he was upset with me but chose to take it out on Liam instead.

“Dillion don’t do this. I came onto him. Your issue is with me, not with him!” I yelled.

As much as I hated admitting my business for the pack to hear, I couldn’t let him get himself killed just because he had some insane hostility toward the Alpha because of what happened between us.
