Aurora's POV
Liam chuckled and held his hand out for me. He knew I was coming. I wasn’t sure how he knew, but he did. I had an instant pull to him, and he seemed to have the same.
“Come inside.”
There were no words needed as I walked up the steps of the pack house. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into his chest. The heat from his body radiated and heated my skin as if I needed the help.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have just shown up unannounced. I couldn’t stay there with her,” I started to ramble. Liam wasn’t like Faith, he didn’t know the history of my arguments with my mother. I blushed at how awkward he might feel with me just showing up at his door in the middle of the night.
He leaned down and gently kissed my lips, silencing the continuous rant that threatened to spill out of my mouth. I gladly accepted the distraction as I tossed my hands around his neck, sinking my fingers into his thick hair.
“Never apologize for coming to me, ever again.”
