Just as she calculated, indeed, she was a notable individual. Very, in fact.

Linea Vonchvele, known to have and still inhabited as one the most gorgeous warriors to roam mankind, from a bordering district to another, passed about on and on; everyone considered so. They said she was the strongest, the fastest, and the fearless. By the textbook, she overcame the carnage of The Civil War with only a rifle, revolver, and bayonet, with nothing or no one else aiding her side.

What insignia did she possess? She was a military colonel from the Central Military.

Since everyone assumed Lin had passed away as she was missing-in-action.

They labeled her initials as Lin because it was her military codename or when her army had professed a territory during The Civil War.

Nobody could talk severely of her, even from a textbook, it was academics' preference material to utilize in the method of teaching History And Culture in an emphatic perspective no matter what. It did not count as babblers, but when it did? That had to be numbered soon as a prohibition since it was a law of its own.

The number one must, no outsider or a toiler from the palace ever sordid to give a single glimpse at His Imperial Majesty, why? To preserve his graciousness and purified integrity, his dignity and overseeing esteem, what else? Well, or else, one shall be beheaded, imprisoned, or blinded.

The second must, not a single person, not even His Imperial Majesty's father (Former Emperor), had the determination to voice the name "Lin" in the discriminations of His Imperial Majesty (Current Emperor), it configured as an example to the divinities which would be declared that someone had sinned.

To Albert and Janis, they bemoaned how impeccably trivial these two regulations were to the citizenry and their society.

According to the information, Xefrei Benoltin Grüggel, the newly crowned emperor, tended a turbocharging lever on his own empire in such a posthaste way. Nineteen years of age yet was reckoned to be exceedingly intelligent beyond his peers and bloodline.

Neglecting how many new laws, regulations, and decrees he'd reinforced led his people to live in fear, expecting most burden would fade itself as the glorious empire commenced by this one specific emperor, scarring those who survived degrading tragedies such as being beaten, detained or hung, all beneath the instructions of Law Enforcements and their men.

So far, they knew little of their sovereign, basically about how His Majesty had been proficient with his responsibilities.

He even managed to maintain the requirements between The Grüggels family and The Onsteels (the royal kindred of Vongolial) in a law-abiding relationship, such as forming a supreme colony.

All this gossiping concerning His Majesty and his work, although he was nothing but a chile, he did not regulate the empire independently; it was believed that he was assisted by two noteworthy companions everyone heard about.

It was coherent that the edicts complexed, the country and his— now— motherland enhanced the size of its original scale, due to the victory regarding the skirmish which lasted five years not long ago, the enemy's region was seized from its position in order to become one of The Lastrevania Empire.

The citizens, by that means, the new set of nations the empire devoured, His Imperial Majesty proclaimed a guarantee that everybody would be safe as long as they unite to comply with their new union.

In this country, tattle-tailing, gossips, anywhere near those synonyms, if it was discovered, it would be taken as a regulation in Lastrevania of Julia.

And everyone would always beware of patrolling soldiers who always scoured places whether provinces or towns, armed in rifles, fastened in scope-detectors. And Albert was one of them, but he had the audacity to disregard his mission and supported Lin, open-minded enough it appeared.

The repulsive bombarding of information influenced Lin and her trail of assessment. There was no narrating how she noted or kenned things, as docile as she resembled it, if it affected her, she would have uttered something.

But she did not. Which would be eccentric, however, considering her plight, perhaps she was just manifesting the new vicinity.

The murky starless canvas appeared shiny and anew, the moon being the only source of light illuminating. Lin erected rigidly on the margin of a cliff, high up amidst the hill around the meadow neighboring Albert and Janis's humble abode and their diminutive farm and barn. The countryside was not much, just so many unbounded domains of greenery, there were dirt drafted roadways leading towards the faraway town; other residences and farms could be viewed from up here.

Such a brisk night (even without any breeze).

The illegal lovers were Lastrevania's locals, which means Lin had roused in a fraction of the empire, their located province was dubbed Lorsol. Super underrated sightseeing to the populations consisted plainly of three thousand people.

She gaped into the sky with an apathetic expression, lips forever pursed in a straight line as her eyes remained uninvolved, arms slacked at each side of her torso. It dawned on the satellite that she was awaiting the sunrise, fortunately to her, puréed of yellow and gray emerged from behind the horizon.

Nevertheless, she appeared pristine than to her first appearance, her ashen brown waist-length hair groomed agilely and fresh, no more strands jutting out as only the crimped edges did. Hence, everything else stayed the same.

It was officially morning! Roosters began crooning and birds were tweeting, hearing a rattling noise, Lin glanced down to find a horse transporting a wagon with an elderly male juddering its reign, trekked by hay bales and a few earthenware jars. He was riding past their home, then braked at their gateway, Albert strayed out the door to greet him with a shriek.

"Albert! How is your wife doing?" The elderly man bellowed, hopping off the toeboard, the horse snuffed distinctly at Albert who did not yield a muscle, then stroked its blonde mane.

"She's doing alright, Mr. Pionne. Where are you heading to?"

"The capital. They released my son from his military duty. I might as well pick him up while delivering some goods." Mr. Pionne plucked the string of wheat from between his lips, and spat a gob near a tilted fence, "what about you? Off to your morning duty?"

"Actually, I might need to shun my duty today."

"Hm? Why?"

Albert massaged his chin, overawed for a minute.

"When are you leaving capital?"

"Noon."

"Excellent. Can I provide you a request?" Instantaneously, when Albert situated his consult, Mr. Pionne already bent his torso forward, steering his ear out, Albert cupped it in his palm and susurrate some sort of private negotiation.

The audible conversation subsided, causing Lin's attention to avert elsewhere.

So her heed trailed after a ginger cat which was chasing two ducks, rumpling over their barely riped cabbage farm, and its soil, wrecking it.

Should she help? Should any of their difficulties be hers?

Lin did not find any necessity to, why? She supposed it was solely their own responsibility to shelter her, as she recently discovered she was a notable someone, it reached to her judgment that they would not abandon her to thaw. So, she merely sought their kindness to be temporary, nothing more or less. Once she flees the site, she would need no more of their alliance.

At least, that was her perspective on things. Our Lin did not have many emotions to mind or be delectable enough, that was just how an insentient being acted.

She was an exact replica of an animal.

Standing for hours should ache her knees at this rate, however, she would not budge a single tissue of her bones, grasping in the scenery before her as if there was nothing else better than this. Until she sensed someone climbing up the hill, it was Janis; cheeks immediately grinning when Lin reeled over her shoulder to bar eye-contact with him. He panted a bit, then approached her.

"How long can you stand up here?" He questioned once he was beside her.

Lin simply gawked at him, voice completely reduced or stifled. "Do you not want to speak? Is there something wrong with your voice?" Janis endeavored his best to seem less earnest, tilting his head to examine any problem with Lin's physique.

After a soundless minute, Lin eventually wriggled her head, the fringes of her smooth and oozy hair waved side-to-side as she did, pantomiming how she opposed Janis's care.

It was as if she could not articulate, although she just did, perhaps she did not want to? This caused Janis's frown to broaden, head descended to the ground. Even with amnesia, interacting with someone as vital as Lin will evermore be challenging as it seems.

Bear in mind, Lin did not neglect her, fundamentally, whatever befell right now should be an interaction in Lin's aspect. However Janis had served her with combing and cleansing her by hardly scrubbing arms and shins with a damp cloth, nevertheless, Lin was not aloof, she merely committed to things remotely dull; like a simpleton would.

"You are very beautiful, Lin. They were correct about you after all." Janis stated, whirling the heel of his boot to scrawl the soil, procrastinating away into his own world, casting Lin out of his vision. "I always deemed they were exaggerating. I can see why The Faceless Rulers cherished you so much."

"The Faceless Rulers?" Lin reformed into a question.

"You do not remember?"

Lin bobbed her head this time, bouncing the fringes of her hair, screening her optics, and plausibly jabbing her scleras. "Even though you remembered idiosyncrasy?"

Lin's fingertips flinched, before they could tighten into fists right as Janis was querying, she decided to secrete them by hugging her arms behind the arch of her spine.

"Oh dear, that is very grave." And according to Lin's sudden alter of non-verbal tenor, Janis recognized it all and how perplexed she was although she scarcely signified it.

"Can..." Lin talked, unlatching her cracked reddish dehydrated lips, "can you inform me?"

It was off-putting, indeed. How every time she articulated, her minor tone and temper soon speculated more and more into that of a soldier, emotionless, as if reading instead of talking.
