Chapter 12 - Adom

Looking back on the date Andrew was happy but his eyes kept saying that there was something wrong. But I decided not to ask.

"Adom! You're home!"exclaimed my mother.

"So how did it go? Did you win Andrew some stuff animals for him?" asked my sister.

I smile and look down at my feet. My mother and sister squealed.

"Come sit with us on the couch and tell us everything." said mother.

"And don't leave out any of the romantic parts."

They both take my arms, walk me to the couch, had me sit down, and were sitting like little kids wanting to hear a bed time story. It made me smile so I told them everything. The first part of winning him the tiger, to seeing a magic show while eating popcorn and cotton candy, everything that happened. Even the part to where I kissed him before I took him home.

"YOU KISSED HIM!!!," exclaimed Vic," I have to tell Shyshy! She ships you two together like I do."

I glare at her but she smiles and walks into her room.

"So are you and Andrew together?"

I look at my mother and shake my head. She looked disappointed, and gets up from the couch.

"Mom...I'm still not ready, but because of him I'm opening up more. He's making me feel this way...better then how I felt when I was with Winston. Please mom...you have to give me more time."

"I know Adim," she turns to look at me with tears in her eyes ,"but you are happy, right?"

I smile and nod my head. She let's out a sigh and laugh of relief.

"That's good...and that's what matters to me."

"Thank you mom."

She smiles and goes to her room. I stay on the couch thinking about the moment Andrew and my lips meet. How sweet and sour it tasted and how he didn't want the kiss to end.
