C 69. Distant Planet

The lab is big and a lot of circles decorate the empty floor but if one knows better, each circle contains an advanced device for research.

At one angle of the office, there was a small table sitting around three people. 

Director Khan beckoned me to come to them and I did. He then asked me to sit by the side facing them.

The other two people are Director 9 of Sector 9. Then the other is Doctor Alexander the Psychiatrist.

As if knowing my situation I was given tea. A very expensive tea that only the world leaders take but even them sparingly.

I take my time to sip and sip. Each sip takes away my tiredness and my mind becomes clear.

With the advantage of the tea, I take my time to analyse what happened in the garden.

Haha, I almost laughed out loud, because I just had an epiphany of how to use my ability well.

Another thing that I'm happy about is the tea!! 

For goodness sake, it makes people younger. If I'm not mistaken because of this tea I will reach 30 without ageing a bit.

"Haha." I can't help but laugh.

I calmed myself to take my mind into a working mindset, but none of them asked any questions until thirty minutes later.

"Take your time and explain to us what you have experienced." Doctor Alexander said.

This will take time!!!

"It's is a divine happiness, that I never felt before in my life...."

Just describing my emotion took us four hours, but the magic of the tea was so strong that I felt nothing as I gleefully explained every intricate detail of my sensation of that time.

They did not even begin to analyse what subject 3519 said, only me and my experiences.

"So, you can better use your powers without affecting your mental health?"

"Yes, but I have to train again to get a hang of it," I answer. 

It was the psychiatrist. Since he is an expert on psychology he was leading in questioning me.

"Now, what about the thing he said?"

It was then I remembered my note about the vision, I quickly touched the Tab screen and opened the notes but what I saw was a jumble of meaningless arranged letters.

I chuckle, knowing exactly this is why Subject 3519 laughed at my futile effort to write down the vision.

"I kind of had a vision through his emotions and wrote what I saw but I wrote rubbish," I said.

"It isn't rubbish. I was watching you when you were writing and it means something. Now tell us about what he said." Director 9 said.

"Well, it was a story of a distant planet that is far away from here.

From what I understand and glimpse from the emotional mission is that the planets have met with a calamity that stimulates the animals and plants to mutate toward aggressiveness.

But Sentient Being follows a madness pattern and if it becomes worse they can merge with a mutated beast and wreak havoc. 

It's more like contamination that is slowly spreading throughout the planet. The people there tried to fights it but the contamination is permanent and can't be resisted.

Though it takes a very long time for the contamination to spread, it still devours the Planet slowly and wherever it passes it becomes either a death zone or a den of monsters.

Until it was only a small territory which is where they put their last stand. If the Mutated Monsters did not kill them, the Contamination would reach there and turn them into mindless monsters.

It was in that situation that a new brand Moon formed over that last territory. 

The Moon radiated with a crystal light which to my understanding blocks the contamination from entering.

And the people that are showing signs of madness were healed, even those monsters that were within the territory show signs of calm."

"Interesting. Here, take this again." 

Director 9 pushed a plate of Donuts to me, I munch on it. After eating about three I felt my hunger has elevated.

"So, the Moon that appears above the territory gives them protection. Where does it come from?" Director 9 asked.

I swallow a bite from the last Donut.

"I think it comes from… I don't know. But what I know is the Moon was a distant Planet within the star system.

It was… it has been moving for a very long time. Its destination was the planet. Though, it took time for it to reach there.

Another thing is… it's as if it was bleeding blood, even when it became the Moon a large amount of blood poured down on the planet on the cleansed territory." I don't know everything but I guess I answer them well.

"Here, drink this again."

I looked at the table, it was the same tea as earlier. I raised my hand to pick though wondering why to give me the tea again.

It was then that I felt my handshaking. I looked down at my hand. It is pale but fine.

I managed to pick the cup and take a sip, it was refreshing, as I feel strength returning to me.

Before I took the next one I was asked, "How was the Mutation of the Monsters?"

I subconsciously answered, "They are not Monsters, but animals that mutated. But the mutation just increased their aggressiveness, and they fought among themselves.

Then, if they feed other mutated animals a notable change occurs on them, where their size increases, but later they become true monsters.

It was a slow process for the people, it's slower, but they act aggressively in some way until their mind is completely corrupted.

They will…"

"Take a sip again!" 

I said okay and sipped two times before I continued, "The more they drive-in madness the stronger they become, until their body mutates and they become strong. I saw them….!!!"

I started breathing heavily…

"You don't need to continue, just finish your tea."

I become weaker again, but the tea helps. I think I'm forgetting things but my worry is averting with each sip.
