As Harry was munching on a chicken leg at the Halloween feast he had a bad feeling about something but as he saw that Hermione also was at the feast he dismissed it and continued to argue with Terry about their favorite quidditch teams, Harry supported Puddlemere United while Terry was a Vrasta Vultures fan while Padma who was sitting beside Harry and was hearing their argument kept muttering about boys and quidditch as she chatted with Sue Li.

Just as the the desserts appeared , Quirrel burst into the great Hall and shouted, " Troll! Troll in the dungeons, thought you should know, " before fainting.

As all the students were panicking, Dumbledore fired a blast from his wand silencing everyone and announced, " prefects please lead all the students to their respective common rooms while the teachers and I handle the troll. "

As the prefects were leading them to their common rooms, Harry noticed that Padma was missing, on enquiring Terry replied saying, " Harry she went to the washroom just before quirrel burst into the great Hall, " before his face paled as he realized that Padma did not know anything about the troll and that the nearest girls washroom to the great Hall was also near to the dungeons.

Harry on hearing that immediately raced towards the girls washroom to get Padma with Terry running after him shouting, " Harry you crazy bastard wait for me, no way am I letting you go alone, Padma will Skin me alive if anything happens to you. "

As they reached the washroom Terry caught up to Harry as he muttered about crazy friends being the death of him. As they neared the washroom they heard that the awful stench of a troll near them and as they turned around to run away they heard the scream of Padma from the washroom, knowing that they had not choice they burst into the washroom.

Padma Patil was not sure how she found herself in her current predicament as she had gone from enjoying the Halloween feast in the great Hall with her friends to cowering from a troll in a washroom within a few minutes. She was finishing her business in a stall when she heard something like grunting outside the stall Padma shouted at the voice , " Go away, boys have no business here, " thinking that it was some boy, but suddenly a massive club was swung dismantling the stall.

Padma screamed as she saw that it was a mountain troll which fixed omits beady eyes on her and about to swing it's club at her when she saw it's club being blasted to pieces and she almost cried in relief when she saw Harry and Terry burst into the washroom and she saw Harry was the one who blasted the club.

Harry immediately casted a reducto curse at the troll's club blasting it as it was about to bash in Padma and as it was stupidly looking at its destroyed club Harry casted the Aguamenti charm at its feet and Hands and freezing its hands and feet with the glacius charm as it gave him time for the next part, and as the troll was about get itself free using it's monstrous strength, Harry transfigured the pieces of the blasted club into metal spikes and banished them at high speed at the Troll's skull, making two of them pierce it's eyes and going further into its brain killing it instantly and the troll fell onto it's back with a monstrous thud shaking the entire washroom. Just as Harry was breathing a sigh of relief when he was hugged tightly by Padma who was sobbing into his chest, he was gently rubbing circles on her back consoling her and saw the white faced Terry still watching the dead troll when it sank into him just how close to death they had come and suddenly the Professors burst in.

McGonagall was not sure what she was expecting when she burst into the girls washroom after hearing screams and loud sounds from it, but she definitely didn't expect to see a dead mountain troll and three unharmed first year Ravenclaws one of them crying, one looking dumbstruck and Mr Potter looking disturbingly calm. On her enquiry Harry explained what happened, McGonagall was furious and asked why they didn't tell a prefect, Harry replied that they didn't have the time andvno prefect was in the vicinity.

Dumbledore calmly replied, " there is no need to be angry at them Minerva, Harry did everything he did for his friend, in fact he should be rewarded as if he had not come we would most probably have a dead student, so I think for extraordinary bravery and magical skills take a 100 points for Ravenclaw. And Minerva inform their parents of what happened, would you. "

Harry paled as he thought about what both his mothers would do to him when they found out that he had single handedly taken on a mountain troll as a first year and Minerva and Albus smirked seeing Harry's expression.
