The massacre I

Hazel tried to keep her gaze on where Martin was going but with the Lord being this close to her , it was impossible. Sly pulled her close to himself without leaving any space between them . "You're looking very beautiful today Hazel "he whispered making her face heat up . Hazel decided to stay silent because she didn't know how to come back at him . "I never knew you knew how to dance until a while ago but it was like a sore to the eyes "Sly Chided clicking his tongue."What "Hazel asked . "Well I noticed that the both of you didn't look good together especially with the way you were staring at me "he taunted and she quickly retorted"I wasn't !". She swallowed when he brought his face so close to her's "Are you going to object it when even now you can't take your eyes off me "he muttered and she quickly averted her sight . She couldn't take her eyes off him because she hasn't seen any man as beautiful as he was but she would never admit it."That's because it's only appropriate for me to look at you when dancing than somebody else "she muttered not staring at him directly. Sly didn't say anything and just continued looking at her .

Back in the hallway Hector Who was holding a flower vase was being followed directly by Martin who wore a confused expression. "Father you still haven't told me why you agreed to come and help here when you despise vampires so much "Martin muttered. Hector didn't stop walking and neither did he say anything , they walked for sometime and when he was sure they were out of ear shot he turned around and answered."Do you remember what happened to your aunt and your cousins "he queried first and he nodded. "They were brutally murdered by these creatures and do you know the annoying part , the high house didn't do anything about it because they said those creatures were out of their minds, they were rogues "he explained and began walking again, Martin's frown deepened and he asked" I never knew that's what killed them , I thought they were eaten by a Deer " he said . Until now he thought it was a deer that had killed his aunt and cousins but it was rather vampires... ."Because that was what the high house wanted everyone to believe , they burried the truth with this to not scare people from the village "Hector replied and they began walking once again . They reached a certain room which looked like one of the guest rooms . Standing there for sometime without uttering a word Martin queried "Why didn't you tell me before , why are you telling me now are we here because of that ". Hector only smiled and entered the room which Martin followed suit before closing it ."I didn't tell you at first because I was leaving in guilt, my sister was my world Martin but I didn't even get to say a proper goodbye the only thing I got was her ripped apart body" he stopped and chuckled dryly. "But I met a witch not so long ago when I went to visit thier grave and she showed me what exactly I'm supposed to do to feel less guilty "he paused and turned to meet his eyes "avenge !". Martin was shocked when he got what his father was planning ,did his father bring them here because he wants to avenge her Aunty's death?' . "But father these people here , they aren't the ones who killed Aunt and my cousins , it was those rogues instead plus with the rogues they didn't even do it on purpose , they did it because they were not in their right state of mind "he tried to explain to his father before he kill innocent people for something they didn't do ."That's what I was thinking before I decided to find the thing that would make them rogue , and here it is "he answered pulling out a small bottle which contained a milky green liquid with something's in it ."Just one drop is all I need to make all of them rogues to kill each other"he muttered and burst into a crazy laughter that gave Martin goosebumps on his skin . Quickly thinking of a solution he first snatched the liquid from his hand and aimed for the door . Hector only scoffed before throwing the glass vase in his hand at his son which quickly smashed into pieces when it collided with his head . Martin became unconscious and collapsed on the floor. "I'm sorry son , but I won't let you be a hindrance to this goal of mine"he mumbled and dragged him to the side and covered him with a blanket before getting out of the room and locked the door.
