Chapter 2 In The Bathroom

The second she closed the bathroom door, she heard her Mom enter her room.

She knew it was her Mom because she was the only one whom she had given permission to enter her room. No one else was allowed. When Madam Isabella entered her daughter's room,she sighed as she realized that her most treasured child who had the most special place in her heart other than her husband, was humming in the bathroom loud enough for her to hear.

She also heard the water from the shower flowing like it was not going to end soon.

She shook her head excitedly and closed the door before going to the kitchen to check on the breakfast which was Quinn's favourite, mango juice with waffles and cherry jam.

Quinn liked fresh mango juice the most, but mango was not her favourite fruit. She liked to eat this breakfast meal a lot.

No overload though!!!

Madam Isabella knew that she did it on purpose in order for her to believe that she was taking a shower.

She decided to believe that her daughter was doing the right thing which was undoubtedly a wrong decision because unknown to her, although Quinn had turned the shower on, she was standing beside the bathtub checking her phone for any new messages that popped had up overnight and, she found one from the Dark Web stating a mission that had been issued to her through her main account on the Dark Web.

The money that came along with the mission was about 50 million US Dollars. The mission was about getting information about a man who regularly visited the Third Wish Hotel. The day after her 18th birthday which was today, Saturday was Sunday. She planned to pay a visit to this hotel.

At this time, she had completely forgotten that she was still in the bathroom half-dressed but with a cold expression on her face. The mission was to get a video of the man and his lover having an intimate interaction with their background information.

It seemed to her that someone wanted to expose these two but it was absolutely none of her business. After contemplating again for a second, this mission was not as simple as it looked.

This is because, if it was so, the person who issued the mission would have handed it to her subordinates.

It was no surprise that she thought like this. After all, she was ranked first in the hacking chart worldwide.

'Seems like the background of these two people were complicated' she thought to herself.

After weighing the pros and cons of accepting the mission, under the guise of the pseudonym Phoenix, she accepted the mission.

After all those series of actions, she finally realized that she was standing half-naked in the bathroom. A faint red colour appeared on her face as she rushed to shower. She had wasted too much water and time. She was sure her mother would scold her for this.
