Slyorn Empire

Hayato was still flying with Kara on his back, he was flying with great speed and at a very high altitude, just a little bit below the clouds, despite the altitude Kara didn't complain about that, she only pointed in the direction of the Slyorn Empire, making Hayato change the direction slightly a few times, it was night when Hayato finally spot a very big city surrounded with tall and thick stone walls, the city has even tall watchtowers and Wyverns flying around, the city doubles the sizes of any city that Hayato had seen before. The city is on a great plain with a thick forest near it, it has a long river passing beside the east side of the wall, there are a lot of buildings of different sizes but there is one that is so much bigger than the castle. The castle has an appearance just like any other castle but its size is amazing and has a plain area around it

Hayato begins to slow down, stunned at the view then Kara whispers " We should be near, can you see the Slyorn Empire? " she has her face still buried in Hayato's back

Hayato nods and says " I think so "

Kara whispered again " Then let's go down, we can't enter flying into the city " Hayato began to descend, trying to not call the attention then he left Kara on the ground

*SIGH* Kara makes a long sigh and says with a trembling voice " I-I think we made a good time, it didn't take us more than 8 hours to arrive, now c-come on, let's enter the Empire "

Hayato and Kara walked to the city and when they arrived at the entrance Hayato raised his eyebrows with surprise ' The walls look bigger from a close distance ' There is a very wide entrance with metallic gates their various carriages are entering carrying slaves or different kinds of stuff but what surprised Hayato is the Knights there are at least 15 of them they all look the same with white metallic armors but different weapons, that most of them have staffs, the knights have even 2 monsters like rhinos at both sides of the gates. The monsters have white metallic armor, they are at least 6 meters tall, their skin is bright white and the horns are red and sharp just like a thick knife

The monsters like rhinos seemed to be sleeping, with a knight with a staff beside them, Kara saw Hayato watching the rhinos with doubt so she says " Those are Behemoths, I think this is the first time you see one "

Hayato nods a little with a calm face and Kara continues " They were tamed just like Wyverns from a pup state, they are really strong and resistant, capable of destroying walls with a charge and resist many magic attacks, in the wild, they are extremely aggressive but here they are docile attacking only when their master orders them "

Hayato nods again and thinks ' Those monsters look strong, I can't tell if I'm able to kill one '

Hayato and Kara arrived at the entrance where a knight with a staff approached them speaking with a humble voice " Welcome to the Slyorn Empire, can you tell me what is the purpose of your visit? "

Kara nods with a calm face and she takes a blue small card under her robe " We came here to visit the magic academy, here is my student card and he is my slave "

The knight grabs the card and reads it, then he turns to see Hayato specifically the collar, and says " Just a moment please " Then he puts some magic on the card and the card began to change its color from blue to purple to red and to blue again, the knight nods and gives back the card to Kara saying with a polite voice " Here is your card Lady Kara, you two can enter now "

Kara grabbed the card and entered the Empire with Hayato beside her, inside the Empire Hayato noticed the difference from the other kingdoms, the streets have a lot of people and carriages, the sidewalks are made of rectangular stones, and the buildings look medieval but very well made and even sometimes a Wyvern passed flying above them

Kara and Hayato walked around the Empire for at least one hour until they arrived at a tall and wide building surrounded by a small brick wall, the building looks like a small size castle with a lot of windows and a couple of joint buildings. The only entrance is through a metallic gate, that has at both sides of the entrance two people with brown rob and wooden staffs

Kara and Hayato walked to the entrance, then Kara walked towards one of the robed persons and showed him her blue card, the robed person does the same as the knight and when the card changes its color he let Kara enter

The two-robed persons ignored Hayato all the time like he was nothing in their eyes, Hayato didn't care what they think, he only followed Kara to the magic academy with an indifferent expression

When Hayato and Kara entered, they saw a lot of young people wearing the same clothes, the males wear black pants with white shirts and black jackets, the females wear black skirts with long black socks, and the same white shirts and black jackets. The jackets have a small symbol on the left side they differ between those who look young (around 15 years old) have only a black shield those who look a little older (around 20 years old) have a black shield with a platinum staff above it and finally, those who look older (around 25 years old) have a black shield with a platinum staff and a golden sword above it

Despite its night, the place is very well illuminated by light poles. The light poles have white monster cores on the top and they illuminated a huge area. Kara shows a small smile and walks near the woman, then she says with a happy voice " Master " The woman turns to see her and smiles sweetly then she says " Kara, you little brat, why are you back so soon? " then she walks and embraces Kara just like a mother will do with her daughter, Kara begins to cry silently as she was being embraced, the woman pats her head with care after a few minutes they separated and she sees Kara with a concerned expression " What's wrong, Kara? "

Kara bows her head with a sad face then the woman turns to see Hayato and her eyes glow with a bright blue light then she opens her eyes widely, her eyes showing surprise and disbelief, the woman moves Kara behind her and yells " Who the hell are you?! " The students watched Hayato with surprise and a little bit of fear

Hayato raises an eyebrow as he thinks ' What's wrong with this woman? ' the students near Hayato begin to take some distance from him, then Kara runs in front of the woman and says " Master, he came with me, he was the one who protected me all the way here "

The woman sees Kara with surprise then she turns to see Hayato showing a cautious face then she says " But Kara, he has a sinister aura, is almost like he is a Demon "

" Master, please trust me " Said Kara with a small smile making the woman nod " Okay little brat, now come with me you have things to explain "Then they began to walk leaving the students that were surrounding the woman behind

After the woman left, Kara begins to walk with Hayato towards the backside of the academy, there, there were the training grounds, the ground is made of white concrete, there are some wooden dummies for practice and besides, and the area there had a building, it was like a two-floor house but the second floor has broken window and doesn't have a door, Kara sees the house and smiles then she turns to see Hayato and says " This small house was used by the teachers when they have to stay a few hours more "

Kara and Hayato walked to the building and Kara used the key she received from the woman, then they entered, the room has a bed, a couple of couches, and a bathroom
