By the time Mr. Smith arrived home, his wife was a mess, her face swollen and tear-stained. "Reginald, my daughter isn't back yet. Her phone is off, since yesterday," she sobbed, her voice trembling.
Mr. Smith was annoyed, but thinking of their potential union with the first branch of the Sinclair family, he finally deemed it fit to take his daughter's disappearance seriously. Moreover, he was certain Kimberly would like this arrangement better - of marrying her into the Sinclair family.
