The Duke's Arrival

*After a long trip, Duke Herbert finally steps his foot into the Brava Gente city. He loved traveling a lot so one hour and thirty minutes of horse riding was nothing to him. He got off his horse and greeted the man in the shop that was at the beginning of the Brava Gente city.

"Duke! You finally arrived! Thank you so much for coming again." -Says the man in the shop while bowing down.

"It was nothing, I will stay here in the city for a couple of days to check something out! You will take care of my horse, right?" -Duke ask the man.

"Of course, my Duke. It's nothing. I can do at least this much for you! Don't worry my Duke I am not scared of you, some might be, but don't mind them. They never met you before my lord!" - The man smiles and takes the horse to the barn. Duke nods and takes his leave.

"Oh, my lord! Wait!" -The man yells.

*Duke runs toward the barn all shocked. The man smiles and then says:

"Oh well, sorry for suprising you. I didn't get to ask you ate or not! So do you wish to eat something, or maybe do you wish to drink something?" -The man gasped and smiled again.

"You scared me for a second there, I really thought that something happened to you! And I don't wish to drink or eat anything for now. Thank you for asking. Ah yeah, here five gold coins for you, because you will be taking care of my horse. I almost forgot about that!" -The Duke smiles, gives him the coins and then leaves the barn.

"But! My lord! This is too much! Oh he is long gone...I didn't even got to say thank you to the lord..." -The man gets up and closes the door on the barn then goes back to his shop.

*Duke Herbert puts his hoodie back on, and walks toward the Maria dressing shop. As he was approaching the shop, he sees two suspicious people at the door. The madam, the shop owner was looking devastated. Herbert was looking for the ten knights he sent to protect the owner but they were nowhere to be found. He check behind the shop and sees them on the floor, laying as they were dead. Herbert runs towards then and checks their pulse. They were alright just drugged. He investigates, of how it might have happened then finds some opened water bottles. In the water bottles were the sleeping drugs. He throws everyhting away very fast, and tries to wake up the knights. Only one was able to wake up, because he drank just a little bit of the water. He gets up and greets the Duke, but Herbert shushes him and points at the shop. The knight sees the two men and both of them hide behind the boxes.

"My lord! I think the back door is open. The madam said that we can use it, and that it will be open for us if anything happens!" -The knight whispers to the Duke as the Duke nods to his words.

"Alright, I will go in at the front door and you will go at the back door. Remeber to throw something at the door so the owner will know where you at." -Herbert takes his hoodie off and the jacket. The knight nods and goes at the back door.

*The owner is speaking to them, while looking for the knights to help her. Herbert then knocks on the door and the two suspicious people jump. The owner face brightned up as he was walking in the shop.

"Why is he here?" -The guys whisper to each other as they smile to the Duke. They got all shocked because of the Duke's arrival and didn't say a word to him.

*They were too shocked to say anything. Herbert then chuckles a little bit then says this with a smile:

"Good day, I was looking for some nice dresses for my lady. Can you show me some nice dresses that I can buy?"

The owner nods to his words.

"Of course, my lord this way!" -She shows him the way where the dresses are. The dresses are in different room, the

Herbert whispers to her:

"Madam, one of my knights are at the back door. Go there now and don't say a word."

"Thank you so much for coming, my lord. I was waiting for them but no one ever showed up. I thought that they left..." -She starts to cry, the Duke points at the door where the two guys are and gives her a tissue.

"Sh, don't cry. Go!" - Herbert whispers.

*The lady nods and then leaves Herbert alone in the room full od women's dresses. The two guys were already suspicious about the Herbert's arrival so they check up him as one of them was opening the door, Herbert held the lock from the other side if the room. They choose to let it go, then he opens the door and says to them:

"I think the door was broken, guys. Did you try to open it?" -Herbert smirks while he was playing a game with then.

"Eh, it was broken? Who would know? Right" -Says one of the guys then then both start to laugh.

*The Duke was looking irritated so he was looking at the woman's heels and he threws one at the second guy's head.

"Oh, my bad. My arm slipped. Sorry, this happens a lot. I really hope that you are angry!" -He smirks and awaits for his reaction.

*Both if the men were shocked and then they attacked the Duke with swords.

"You little! How could you?" -One of them says.

*But Duke didn't even try to use his full power beacuse he knew that they were very weak. So he used his pocken knife and sliced the arm deeply of the right man and kicken the left man to the floor. While the right man was crying at the floor ome left one was trying to get up but Duke threw his knife in the left guy's knee and he fainted. His friend wasn't also looking that good so after five minutes he fainted too. The ownee if the shop shows up and sees the Duke standing in the pile of blood. She almost faints but tries to be strong

"My lord, thank you so much for this. I don't know how can I pay you back." -She falls on the floor and start to cry.

"Don't worry, madam. They are not dead, at least now. I think you will be fine now. And you don't have to pay me back. I might come back here again." -Herbert says while smiling. The owner gets up and smiles.

"Oh, I got you. I will wait for your next arrival. -She laughs, while the knight was looking at them in confusion.

"Anyway, lady. You should and you need to get some new employers. At least two of them, and someone who will be the shop's guard." -Herbert smiles at her.

"Alright my lord, I will do that! Thank you for the advice." -She bows to Herbert.

"My knight, can you throw these two outside. Then stop the bleeding and tie them up." -Says Herbert.

"Alright, my lord I will do that. Others have woken up five minutes ago." -The knight nots, bows and takes the two people outside then comes back ti clean up the blood in the shop and goes to the robbers to tie them up.

*The other knights runs in the shop and everyone bows down then their captain says:

"We are sorry about this. Please punish us for not talong this seriously." -The captain gets on his knees while shaking in fear.

"I won't punish you. Go outside, and wait for me. There's too much of us in the shop!" -He smiles at them.

*They got up all scared, and the captian nods to the Duke's words. Then he says:

"Everyone get on your knees again, who knows what the Duke will do to us." -His voice was shaking and everyone nods.

*The duke looks over to the owner and says:

"I will be at my house so if anything happens send a message. Goodbye."

*The owner nots and says her goodbye. She was very grateful to the duke and the fact that he saved her. While opening the door the Duke sees the knigts at their knees again and smiles at them then says:

"Can you not embarass me in front of people and get up? I won't do anything to you guys. We are going home, okay? I only said wait for me not 'get on your knees amd wait for'... Let's go guys!" -Then he looks over the two robbers while they pretended to be still asleep then says:

"Take these two to the prison, and no food and water for three days. Then after the three days give them a paper and pencil amd let them write everything down they did." -Herbert says this angrily while the robbers were shaking in fear.

*The knights got both of them up and started to walk towads the Herbert's house. In the property where Herbert house was there they had prison, garden, and a house for the knights. Herbert's house had a beautiful scenary from his work room's window. .Herbert sighs at the view of his second house in hope to have a good rest. One of the maids greets him as he gave her the jacket, sword and the box of needles. The maid then says:

"Everything was prepared in the room, my lord!" -She bows and leaves. Herbert nods and goes to his bedroom, takes off his clothes then goes to shower. After the shower he sees food on his bedroom table and goes to eat. After an hour, he finally can rest in his bed.
