Kami's Biography + the Aftermath

Name: Kami (Okubo) Yagi

Age: 40

Gender: Female

Height: 5'11" (180 cm)

Eye Color: Green (right) & Brown (left)

Hair Color: Scarlet

Blood Type: B

Birth Date: April 7th

Quirk: Avatar

Quirk Description: Kami has the ability to control the basic elements: Water (in all of its various forms), Earth, Fire, and Air. After a lot of training back when she was a student at UA, Kami is also able to bend lava, sand, metal, and lightning to her will.

Weakness: Earthbending greatly relies on having access to the earth, so this part of her ability can be negated by securing her in a wooden barrier. Firebending won't work if Kami is wet, underwater, lack drive, has poor breath control, poor self-control, or if her body temperature is below average. Waterbending relies on the amount of water Kami has in the vicinity. If her hands and feet are bound, she can't bend the elements.

Strength: She can shape the landscape and do various different things to help her in a battle. This means that there's no sort of home field advantage against Kami because there's no sort of location where the enemy is better off fighting her there. No matter what environment she's in, she'll have something to bend to be able to use to her advantage. Her bending also gives her various different boosts like speed and being able to dodge things.

Quirk Drawback: This Quirk depends on Kami's emotional state and the control of her breathing. If she loses control of either of these key aspects, she loses control of the elements.

Personality: Kami is the wife of All Might (Toshinori Yagi) and the mother of Hikari Yagi. She is a very strict person, often reprimanding her daughter and her students for their disobeying teachers and getting into trouble. Back when she was a student at UA, she lost her family which caused her to have some similarities to Katsuki's personality, but without the arrogance and foul mouth. However, after meeting Toshinori Yagi, she becomes kinder and she began to open up more. As a result, she was able to become friends with Shoto Aizawa, Nemuri Kayama, and Hizashi Yamada. She has a strong sense of justice just like All Might and can be warm and full of passion. She's mostly cool, but can lose her temper in certain situations. She becomes a teacher at UA and is kind to her students, though still strict with them. Kami sees herself as someone who isn't able to protect those dear to her because of the death of her family, the death of Nana Shimura, and All Might's injury which is another reason why she retired from being a pro hero. "Dad..." A eight-year-old you sobbed out, falling to your knees and covering your eyes with your hands. "...Daddy. Please! I'm so scared!... someone. Please... help me!"

You were so scared. It was dark and you were alone and lost in a wooded area. You were there because you were practicing to have better use of your Quirk, but you quickly became exhausted and lost track of time. You tried to find your way back yourself, but you only ended up going in circles. You felt so alone and helpless. You thought you were going to be lost in that forest for a long time. That is until...

"Hey, Yagi!"

You looked over your shoulder and saw nine-year-old Katsuki Bakugou standing behind you. You were so relieved that someone finally found you that you sprung up to your feet and captured Kacchan in a tight hug.

"Kacchan!!" You bawled. "I tried to find my way back!...hic! B-but it's so dark...hic! I kept going in circles...hic! And I accidentally burned my shoes! I-I just don't know what to do!!"

As you cried, you felt the small ash-blonde reluctantly give you a warm embrace.

"I-It's okay." He reassured. "Let's just go back home."

You nodded and wiped away your tears. After you returned home safely, your mom scolded you for going to the forest by yourself. You were happy to be back home, but you also felt ashamed.

The next day, you went to school as usual, but everyone heard about how Katsuki Bakugou found you and they kept asking you if you're okay. You obviously weren't because you cried out for help from your dad, who's too busy saving someone else to hear your cries for help. The worst thing was that Bakugou witnessed how pathetic you looked. When school was over, he took you to the playground to talk to you. You thought he was going to make fun of you, but what he actually said surprised you.

"I want you to be a part of my hero agency!" Kacchan declared.

Your eyes widened. "What?! Why!?"

"Your dad never came for you, right?" Your heart sank when he said that. You silence spoke volume. "Well, forget about him! I can be your hero and you can rely on me instead."

You blushed. Kacchan was being nice to you. You didn't expect him to tell you to rely on him and that he'll be your hero instead.

"I'll think about it..."

"Good! Because you're going to be my sidekick!"

You snapped. "Screw you Bakugou! There's no way I'll ever become a sidekick! I'm gonna be a hero whether you like it or not!"

Katsuki grinned. "Whatever, Himawari. No matter how strong you are, you'll never be better than me!"

You were irritated when Kacchan said he'll make you his sidekick, but it didn't sound like he was looking down on you.

You woke up in a room that was obviously not your bedroom. It was Recovery Girl's office. You groaned as you sat up. You remembered holding your dad back so that Izuku and Katsuki could pass through the gate.

"Oh, good. You're awake." Recovery Girl said from her desk.

You looked down and saw that you were still in your hero costume. Minus the jacket.

"Recovery Girl! Did we pass?" You asked.

Recovery Girl nodded. "Those two boys didn't want to leave you behind, so they came back for you and the three of you went through the gate." You let out a small gasp and the old lady smiled. "The three of you are joined at the hip, aren't you?"

"We've been friends since Elementary school. And I started dating Katsuki after we started attending UA."

You should've known that neither of them would want to pass through that gate without you. Once you've been checked up by Recovery Girl, you left her office.

"Himawari!" Someone called out to you.

You noticed Izuku and Katsuki speed walking towards you.

"Izuku! Katsuki!"

"How are you feeling?" Katsuki ask.

"I'm okay, thanks to Recovery Girl." You remembered what Recovery Girl told you. "Also, she told me what you guys did. Thank you for coming back for me."

They both looked at you for a second before Katsuki turns his head away with a blush on his face and Izuku gave you a warm smile.

"You're the one who said you wanted to win that damn fight as a team." Katsuki replied.

Izuku nodded. "You've been our friend for a long time. There's no way we're going to leave you behind."

"Take that back, you damn nerd! She and I are not friends!"

You laughed at Katsuki's response. It sounded like an insult, but he meant that he and you were more than friends.

"Hey, Himawari..." Izuku had a sad look on his face. "Do you want to talk--"

"Toshinori Yagi!"

He was interrupted by a familiar voice. It turns out to be your mother scolding your father.

"I saw your fight with our daughter!" She said angrily. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you were trying to kill our Hikari!"

Your dad tried to calm down your mom. "Kami, darling, please don't be mad."

"Mom!? What are you doing here!?" You exclaimed.

Your parents noticed you and your mom's attitude did a 180.

"Oh. Hello, Sweetheart." She greeted. "Congrats on passing the practical."

"Thanks, but you didn't answer my question!"

"Well, I'm officially a teacher at this school."

Your jaw dropped at the news. You noticed that she's wearing her hero costume. Her costume consists of a black leather jacket, a blue leotard, black fingerless gloves, and black boots.

"Wait, are you... the Elemental Hero - Hope....!?" Izuku gasped.

Your mother nodded and he immediately started to fanboy.

"Oh my gosh! You were known as the Pillar of Justice and worked with All Might ever since his debut! You shared the first place ranking with him, too! I don't know why I didn't recognize you sooner. It could be because you're always wearing a domino mask. Your Quirk is--"

It was rude of you to do this, but you covered your friend's mouth so that he doesn't start talking too much.

"Thank you." Katsuki sighed.

"You said you're a teacher here, now." You recalled. "Does that mean you'll be teaching our class?"

"Actually, I'll be teaching Class 1-B." She replied.

You sweat dropped as Monoma crossed your mind. "Well, FYI, there's a student in that class named Neito Monoma, and he's a complete headache, so... good luck."

Izuku and Katsuki nodded in agreement while your mom gave you a confused look.

"...S-sweetheart." All Might spoke. It surprised you to see him not smiling. "About what you said during our fight, I --"

"Well~, I better go change out of my hero costume and head home. Bye, Dad!!" You quickly ran off.

Your father called out to you, but you pretended that you didn't hear him.

After you changed out of your hero costume, you went home and invited Katsuki over.

Your room was filled with your boyfriend's moans as you used your hands to pleasure him. You both were on your bed and his shirt was on the floor.

"Mmm..."

"Katsuki... am I doing it right?" You ask in a soft voice. "Do you feel good?"

Katsuki hummed and nodded in response.

You smiled. You've never done this before and you had to do some quick research to make sure you didn't do anything harmful. Katsuki was very reluctant to let you do this, but you were able to push him down to the bed and convinced him to let you do it.

"Okay... that's enough."

"You sure?" You stopped your movements.

"Yeah. Thanks for the massage."

"No problem!"

You decided to give your boyfriend a massage because you used his gauntlets yourself and you want to relieve any tension he might have. You borrowed your mom's massage oil and did a little research on how to give a proper massage. He refused this at first, but he soon relaxed and surrendered to your touch.

"Hey, Hikari. Do you... want to talk about what you said to All Might while you were fighting him?" Katsuki questions you after he puts his shirt back on.

You froze at his question. You didn't want to talk about it, but you just wanted to get this off your chest a bit and share your feelings.

"I don't hate my dad." You began. "He's the No°1 Hero, he's the Symbol of Peace, and he's helped a lot of people. I'm proud to call him my dad. It's just... I barely get to talk to him and I always had to keep my mouth shut about being his daughter for my own safety. In class, he calls me "Yagi" and treated me like a any other student at UA which is close to him as I could get, now. The reason why I want to become a hero is so that my dad can rely on me and not have to do things by himself. But then there was that conversation with Endeavor, all the stuff Todoroki said, and lately, I've been having this strange feeling that my dad and Izuku have been hiding something from me..."

Katsuki's eyes widened as he listened to you intently.

"When I'm ready... I'll tell dad and mom what I've been feeling, but not now."

There was another moment of silence until Katsuki spoke.

"All Might and your mom aren't going to hate you if you shared that with them. I'm not sure if you've noticed this, but whenever he watches you, you can tell how proud he is of you."

You smiled. "Thanks Katsuki."

"And you better stop thinking about that Icy Hot bastard! That jackass didn't even give it his all during the sports festival!"

You bursted into laughter.
