I Love You

Entering the end of November... you get an earlier-than-expected reunion! You came to the Teachers' Dormitory with Izuku, Eijiro, Tsuyu, Horikoshi and Ochaco and you all were over the moon to see Eri once again. The Big Three is also there. She's happily sitting on the sofa while Nejire Hado put her hair in pigtails.

"Eri's coming to live at UA." Mr. Aizawa said. 

"I thought it'd be forever till I saw her again!" Izuku exclaimed gleefully. 

"Hey, Eri." Eijiro greets the little girl. 

"We're so glad to see you!" Ochaco spoke. 

"Welcome home, Eri!" You beamed. "You look great in pigtails!"

"You remind me of my sister. You're cute like her!" Tsuyu added.

"Gee, thank you so much!" Eri replied to you and Tsuyu's compliments. 

"How is this even possible?" Horikoshi queried.

"It's not like she could have stayed in the hospital forever." Mr. Aizawa answered. 

He and Mirio Togata then led you and the rest of your first year friends outside the building to talk.

"So Eri was abandoned by her mother?" Izuku queried after hearing the fact from your homeroom teacher. 

"Yes." Said Aizawa. "Her only blood relative is her grandfather, the boss of the Shie Hassaikai. However, he'll be in a coma for a long while, so she's got nowhere to go."

You felt so bad for Eri. Her father died, her own mother abandoned her, her grandfather was put into a coma, and she had to spend most of her life in pain and suffering in the hands of an inhuman monster.

"You may have heard this already, but Eri's horn is where she emits her Quirk from." Togata said while pointing at his head where Eri's horn is located. 

"Yeah, but I heard that since it's shrunk, it should be okay now..." Eijiro spoke.

"Though it's only a little bit, it's started to grow again."

"Are you worried she might lose control?" You questioned your homeroom teacher. He nods in response. 

"That's why she's here and not some protective facility. UA was specifically designated as her caretaker. There's an open room in the Teachers' Dormitory where she can be kept under our supervision. And while we watch over her, we're looking for a solution to address that great power she has. And there are a number of things we need to verify... it'll take some time."

"It looks like you've got it tough, Mr. Aizawa." Said Tsuyu with her finger on her lower lip.

"That's where I come in!" Horikoshi spoke up. "I'm on a temporary leave from school, plus, I'm good friends with Eri! And whenever the five of you have some free time, make sure to come visit Eri."

"Don't worry! We definitely will!" You assured the portal girl and your Class 1-A friends agree with you. Tamaki Amajiki appeared from the Teachers' dorm and entered the conversation. 

"And once Eri is well, both in body and in spirit..." Amajiki adds as he places his hand on Horikoshi's shoulder and smiles at her. "We'll have our Void back in no time."

Horikoshi gazed at Amajiki for a moment, then she blushed and turned her head away.

"Heh... th-th-that would be great, w-wouldn't it?!" Horikoshi laughed nervously. 

Seeing her awkward behavior, you grinned like the Cheshire cat. It looks like the little portal girl has a crush on Suneater.

"Sorry to ask you all of a sudden, but could I have you third years and Horikoshi take care of Eri for a bit?" Mr. Aizawa asked.

"You got it!" Togata answered cheerfully. "We'll play Othello!"

"I'd love to watch over Eri!" Horikoshi replied. 

"What about us?!" Izuku asked eagerly.

"We have to go back to our dorms, Izuku." You remind your friend. "The Wild Wild Pussycats are coming to visit us."

"She's right." Aizawa confirmed you're correct. "The rest of you should head back."

You were disappointed that you couldn't spend some more time with Eri, but you know that you all are expecting visitors, so that means you can't stay longer.

At the Class 1-A dorm, the Wild Wild Pussycats came for their visit. 

"With glittering eyes, rock on!" Announced Mandalay. 

"With cat paws, we're here to help!" Added Ragdoll enthusiastically. 

"Out of nowhere we appear!" Tigerlily says proudly. 

"Purrfectly cat-like heroes!" Pixie-Bob meowed. 

"We're the Wild, Wild Pussycats! [Off-duty!]" The four hero team announced altogether. They're wearing their everyday clothes and brought cat paw shaped beef buns.

"Wild Wild Pussycats!" Iida walked over to the Hero group to greet them. "It's been so long!"

"You all look well, kittens!" Pixie-Bob said.

Tigerlily gave you the box of the cat paw shaped beef buns.

"I'm sorry we weren't able to protect you both back then." Tigerlily apologized to you and Katsuki. 

"You don't have to bring up the past, Tigerlily." You reassured. "And you don't need to apologize."

"Yeah, we already forgot about it." Katsuki added.

"Besides, we've been good over here. Right, girls?" You gave the beef buns to Mina, Ochaco and Toru and they all got excited over the gift the heroes brought. You then noticed Izuku and Kota getting along great. From what you're friend told you, Kota wrote Izuku a thank you letter for saving him from the same villain that murdered his parents. He even got the same red shoes as Izuku's. 

It looks like Kota is a Deku fan now!

"It's good to see you." Sato came with a tray of tea. "But what brings you all back to UA?"

"Please, have a seat!" Shoji beckoned the heroes to have a seat on the sofa, but they politely refused.

"Oh no, it's okay." Mandalay said while putting her hands up to stop Shoji's actions. "Please don't let us disturb you."

"We gotta stop by Class 1-B, too." Tigerlily adds.

"We just wanted to stop by and let people know about our comeback." Pixie-Bob explained. 

"Your comeback?!!" You cried out in excitement with your friends. "Congratulations!!"

"Ragdoll, did you get your Quirk back?!" Izuku asked. You remembered that AFO stole Ragdoll's Search Quirk back at Kamino. Because of this, she had to suspend her activities. Did he really give it back to her....?

"Still powerless!" Ragdoll answered with enthusiasm. She moves her hands as if she's typing on a computer. "I'll be supporting the others by doing the office work! Call me the office cat!"

"We did receive a report from Tartarus, though." Pixie-Bob spoke in a serious tone. "AFO ffered to give her Quirk back. However, we don't know exactly what kind or how many Quirks he's got hidden away, we're still trying to investigate. Though it seems our only way of handling him presently is by not allowing him to do anything."

Just the mere thought of the Bastard that caused you're parents' pain, the lost of Ragdoll's Quirk, the creation of Tomura Shigaraki and the League of Villians, and everything that happened in Kamino made your mind and body uneasy. Katsuki noticed this and wrapped an arm around your shoulder to comfort you. The gesture calms your nerves.

"...Then why decide now to make a comeback?" Yaomomo asked.

"They're about to be presented, but... it's because of the second half Japanese Hero Billboard charts." Mandalay explains. "We're in 411th place."

The Japanese Hero Billboard Charts! By factoring in one's number of resolved incidents, contributions to society, and public approval rate, every year, twice a year, they present a ranking of all active heroes! Those who sit at the top have their names reknown! These are the heroes who bring smiles and peace to the people!!

"I remember!" Izuku said. "Last time, you were at the No.32 spot."

"I see!" Eijiro spoke up. "It's because you guys dropped so much!!"

"No, that's nyat it!" Ragdoll corrects Eijiro. "Don't you think it's weird that we're still in the triple digits even though we haven't done anything?"

"It was our approval ratings that allowed us to be where we are." Tigerlily explains.

"There are still people out there waiting for us to return!" Pixie-Bob adds.

"No way are we gonna let them down and stay in the sidelines!!" Ragdoll exclaimed with her arms raised. 

"So you're doing it for the fans!" Eijiro began to cry out of respect for the Hero team. "You're so manly, Wild Wild Pussycats!"

The Billboard charts.... they still haven't presented the ones for the second half yet. A lot of stuff has happened since Kamino. It's also the one without dad...

After the Wild Wild Pussycats left, you watched the second half of the Japanese Hero Billboard charts with your friends. According to the charts, these are the rankings:

By looking at Hero activity over the past year, the Public Safety Commission evaluates the number of incidents resolved, level of contribution to society, and national approval ratings within that time frame and enters them into a distinct formula. The result ranking is then presented. While there's an emphasis on the sheer number of incidents resolved, Heroes that manage to resolve large incidents get a large boost in approval ratings. Therefore, a Hero's ability to resolve high-profile crimes directly impacts their ability to climb the ranks.

Some of the Japanese population don't approve of Endeavor taking the No.1 spot, and you're part of that some. However, that all changed in Central Fukuoka. A strong Nomu appeared and fought Hawks and Endeavor. The battle was broadcasted on the news. The Flame Hero was struggling and the citizens were in a panic as they ran away from the fight... it looked like everyone completely lost hope because there wasn't a Symbol of Peace anymore. Then, a boy with pink hair and a yellow scarf spoke up. He looked straight into the camera and told everyone to look at Endeavor; he reminded everyone that Endeavor is still alive and risking his life for the sake of the citizens. In the end, Endeavor won. He was injured and bloody, but still, he stood victorious with his left arm raised high. The citizens cheered for the No.1 Hero and Shoto Todoroki showed so much relief that his father pulled through and was still alive. Then, just when everyone breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that it's over, Dabi shows up. The League of Villians member created a wall of blue flames around himself, Hawks and Endeavor. You had no idea what was going on inside the wall of flames because it was too hot for the news reporters to come any closer. When Mirko showed up at the scene, the flames dispersed and Dabi was gone without a trace. You didn't know how the patchwork freak vanished, but you hoped that it would be a long time before you come face to face with Dabi again.

You laid on your bed in your dorm room and thought about what you saw on the news.

Why was Dabi there? Did he show up you retrieve that Nomu? I bet he's the one that let it loose in the first place. How the heck did he disappear without anybody noticing? 

You heard a knock at your door and you called out to the person that  the door was unlocked and that they can come in.

"Hey, Teddy Bear." Katsuki enters your dorm room and closed the door behind him.

"Hey, Blasty!" You greeted back as you sat up.

"What are you doing?"

You sighed.

"I was just thinking about what we saw on the news."

Your boyfriend sat next to you on the bed.

"So, how do you feel about Endeavor?"

You stared at Katsuki for a moment before answering him.

"Well, he's not my favorite anymore after meeting him during the Sports festival, and I'm 100% sure he hates both of my parents. There's also the fact that he literally ruined our friend's childhood because of his obsession with my dad. The list is long... but I will give him credit for handling that Nomu." Your mind went back to Dabi's sudden appearance, but you didn't say anything about that to your boyfriend. 

"Are you also thinking about the patchwork freak that showed up in the end?" Flinched at your boyfriend's question. Of course he would ask you that. Besides your parents and Izuku, he knows you better than anyone else. Yourself included. He sighs. "I don't what business he had for being there, but don't let him and the rest of those League of jackasses bother you. I won't let them lay another hand on you again." You stared at your boyfriend. It looks like he's still upset with everything the League has done to you. You're upset about the events, too. Not just because of what the League has done, but also because you were too weak to fight back when they had you by the neck. Literally.

"What's this?" Katsuki picks up a scrapbook that's been sitting on your desk. The scrapbook isn't the one you're currently working on. It's a scrapbook you got from your mom that's hold photos from before you entered UA.

"I got that scrapbook from my mom. I took it from her so she doesn't show and tell anything embarrassing to Class 1-B and I'll have to put that copycat jerk Monoma in a hospital for saying an obnoxious remark about any of my secrets and embarrassing moments my mom possibly shared."

"Good call..."

Katsuki hates that copycat bastard as much as you do, and the last thing he wants is those Class 1-B idiots looking at any embarrassing childhood memories of him, Deku and you. 

"Mom took a lot of pictures ever since I was a baby to "capture every precious moment of her only child's childhood!"... so there are plenty of pictures I wouldn't let anybody see. There's also some pictures from our Middle school days. You know, I started calling you by your last name along with "Bakuhoe" in Middle school because you started acting like an arrogant jerk. Well, that and because you called me "Bitch". You smiled at the memory. When Katsuki called you "Bitch" for the third time, you told him you'll take it a compliment. "But since our relationship improved, I owe you an apology for those insults."

"No you don't." Katsuki said as he glances away from you and put the scrapbook in one of your desk drawers. "I deserved it."

"As a good girlfriend, I feel like I should say you didn't and that it's my own fault, but I'm not gonna lie. You were acting like a jackass." You giggled while Katsuki stayed silent. "When we entered middle school, I thought you hated me. You stopped calling me by my first name, you didn't want to hang out with me and Izuku, and whenever I tried to talk to you to find out why your attitude towards me changed, you either push me away or yell at me." Your smile dropped as you remembered how cold Katsuki was towards you during Middle school. "I don't know what I did to make you treat me like a stranger, but I guess it must've been my fault..."

Silence filled the room for a brief moment until Katsuki let out a sigh.

"No, Hikari. You... you didn't do anything wrong." Katsuki sat back down next to you on the bed. He gazes into your emerald eyes with sincerity. "When we were kids, we always competed against each other, tried to one-up each other, and I was so annoyed at how you always protected Deku and took his side. I couldn't stand you, but at the same time, I started to think you were cool and I started to like you. When we reached Middle school, I started to develop feelings for you and I didn't know how to act on those feelings, so I pushed you away. Those feelings never left. I got jealous whenever you hung out with Deku, it irritated me when you continued to protect him, and I scared off whoever wanted to ask you out. Do you remember the day you kissed me after you got your acceptance letter to UA?"

Your cheeks turned bright red and you replied that you do remember. How could you forget? After you got your acceptance letter, you immediately ran out of your house to tell Katsuki the great news. You were so happy that you jumped into his arms and kissed him. Not only was that your first kiss, it was also Katsuki's first kiss... and you're pretty sure Mitsuki and Masaru saw you do that. He kissed back, but you still felt guilty at that time for taking Katsuki's first kiss without his consent. The two of you talked about it the next day. 

"After that, I couldn't ignore my feelings anymore. I know that I haven't been the best boyfriend, but... I want to be with you and only you. Your flaws and perfections, your weaknesses and strengths, your losses and victories, your hopes and fears, your smile, your tears." He caresses your face. His expression is gentle and loving... an expression he only shows to you. "I want to support you through all of them because I love you, Hikari Yagi... and nothing will change that."

"Katsuki..." Your emerald eyes gazed at your boyfriend, partner, and best friend with romantic affection. "You definitely weren't the easiest person to deal with, but you encouraged me to be a better, stronger version of myself. You trust me. You opened up to me. You are the only person I see myself with and I can't imagine my life without you."

Katsuki caresses your face with both hands. Your emerald irises stared into his carmine ones then he kisses you passionately. You wrapped your arms around Katsuki's neck to deepen the kiss. Katsuki responds by wrapping his arms around your body and gently pushing you down until you're laying down on the bed. You want the kiss to last longer, but you both had to separate for air. Katsuki stared at you with red lines on his face. He climbs off of you. You watched as he walks over to the door and locks it. Then, he sits back down next to you on the bed and pulls out a small item. Your face turned as red as your hair as your emerald eyes widened at the sight of the two condoms attached to each other in a vertical line.

"Hikari." You looked up at your boyfriend's blushing face. He rubs the back of his neck while he sheepishly glances away from your eyes. "I-I want... I mean, are you..." He gazes into your eyes. "Katsuki?" Hikari's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "Are you okay? It looked like you were spacing out."

"I was just thinking. Come on, put on some clothes."

Hikari put the clothes she had on last night back on. That's good. Those idiots will start asking questions if she puts on different clothes. My mind went back to how I was in Middle school. Hikari is the only one I gave a hard time. 

"I ... I want to apologize to De-- Izuku."

Hikari turned around to look at me. She's surprised that I called that nerd by his actual name and not that nickname I used to ridicule him. It's only fair. I treated Hikari like an eyesore because I didn't want to come to terms with my own feelings, and I bullied Deku because I refused to recognize my own weaknesses. Hikari placed her hand on my chest and smiled at me.

"Well, I'm sure you'll get the chance to give Izuku a proper apology. It's late, but it's great to hear that you want to make up for your mistakes."

"I hope so." I walked towards the door. After making sure nobody was out in the hallway, I came out first, then Hikari. 

"Hey! Lovebirds!!"

I groaned when I heard Ashido's annoying ass voice and saw her walking towards us. What the hell does she want?

"Good morning, Mina!" Hikari greeted. She didn't have any female friends back when we were in elementary school and middle school, so she immediately got along with our female classmates. 

"Did you two get a good night's sleep?" Ashido asked with a sly smile plastered on her face.

"Why the hell do you care so much, raccoon eyes?" I snapped at her.

"Well, it's just that... I had trouble sleeping myself." Pinky got way to close to me and Hikari. "Good thing I got a pair of ear plugs."

Crap! We completely forgot that Ashido's room is right next door to Hikari's! I can feel my face burning after realizing that Pinky heard everything! 

"Y-you shut up, Raccoon eyes! We never wanted you to listen in the first place!!"

"Listen to what?" Kirishima asked from around the corner. 

"It's nothing!" Me and Hikari said at the same time. Raccoon eyes just stood there and giggled. I fucking swear, if she wasn't our classmate, I would've murdered her...
