Audition

I was busy watching a Islamic tv program and I mistakenly switch the channel and my dad was there the advert was about a music competition and the winner will go home with the sum of 2m(twenty million lekhs)I was very excited,I jumped up for joy!but the look on my dad and granny face was not acceptable and I keep my cool,

My dad took the tv control from me and changed the channel back to the religion tv and I was scared .

Before I knew it my granny start to say some stuff and preaching the Quran .

My dad said no children of mine will go into anything that is not of the Islamic religion and he shouted at me saying ,you will never become anything aside if the religion you can never be a super star ,you get married after you high school and started to cry and my grandma supported my dad I was heart broken I ran way into the kitchen to meet my mom and she consoled me saying I should obey my father and whatever he says is the best for me

I was really disappointed and I felt weak knowing for the fact that know one is going to support my dream I left the kitchen and go up to my room to continue with my crying heart out and singing a sad song,my mom was at my door listening to what I was singing and heard a voice saying to her talk to your daughter or else I will stop her from going to school and I was shocked.
