Chapter 11

5 months have passed, since I came to the kingdom of beasts. And I finally recovered from the overuse of mana.

Today I was told to meet up with Jack. He told me that we need to discuss some important things. So after I put on a white dress, I don't understand but all the clothes Jack gave me are white. They look good on me, but I don't like how I now get so much attention. I look like I'm a noble and not like someone from the pit.

After breakfast Jack showed me around town and brought me back to the mansion for lunch. After finishing lunch we went to the garden. Lucia served us some the tee and placed a plate with cookies on the table.

"So... You finally recovered completely", Jack started the conversation. "Yes, I feel even better than before... And I can't thank you enough for all you have done for me.", I replied.

"That's good. Like I have told you yesterday, I wanted to talk to you about something important. You will start to attend the royal academy. For that we will need to find out what kind of magical power you have and how much control you have over each element. We already know that you have a good control over the space element, you only need to practice. So we will go to the magic association. We will leave in 30 minutes, I will be waiting at the gate for you.", and with that Jack left me alone in the garden.

After about 10 minutes of being unable to think or do anything, Lucia walks up to me and said "My lady you don't need to think about it to much. You already know how a noble lady should behave in public. You are a very nice lady, you do not teat people different because of their status and that is all this kingdom stands for. You also don't have to be afraid about the magic association. They are really nice and you definitely have enough magical power to get into the royal academy. After all only a few magic users are able to travel with space magic like you did. So please calm down."

"Uhmm thank you Lucia, it's just I never have gone to an academy before and it's a bit much Jack just told me what I need to do. And I don't want to disappoint him...", I said quietly

"Lady Eve", Lucia started "Sir Jack will never be disappointed in you, he just wants you to find friends and not be so timid or look so lonely. He is doing all that for you and not for himself, if he knew you think like that he would be really sad that you think so lowly about him."

I was shocked I never thought that what I said would make him feel sad. It's just good that he already had left before. I will have to do my best to make him happy, so he will not have to worry about me...
